Good news everyone. The music industry hasn't been COMPLETELY STAMPED OUT OF EXISTENCE.Erasure made music not for the money or the game (IDOLATRY) But because it's what they (and I) were put on this world at this troubled time.
Time - It seems like yesterday I was 17 and this great new album came out called WONDERLAND, the year was 1986, the whole future ahead, life was exciting and filled with anticipation. 'Where will life lead? How will turn out?' were the questions of youth, filled with anticipation to grow up and be an adult. Life was so exciting and new. So grateful to be sitting here in 2021 as a 53 year old, so many miles behind me, so many questions answered, and still have these amazing guys making the soundtrack to this journey of Life! THANK YOU BOTH! Love ya!

If we could get another album filled with this maestro level of songwriting and execution. Simply stunning. Both of them at their each finest.

Throughout time, Erasure has always been there for me. Andy and Vince have a special gift that always makes me smile, no matter how bad the day has been. I remember how much I loved Erasure's music, but I had to hide it from everybody at high school in the 80's, just because of the automatic "Gay" association. Now, with my confidence -- I do whatever I like, whenever I want to do it, so now I teach at a university and my student's are into "Retro New-wave". One kid asked me after class "Have you ever heard of Erasure?" I answered while grinning at him:
"My boy: Most people learn to just 'hold on', as the Earth spins around the Sun, and it's the successful who learn to 'run with it'; however, Erasure can become a metronome, keeping the right pace you'll need to 'dance through life' with a smile. Have no regrets, kid".
I felt like it was the most sagacious remark I've ever made. Aside from that, Andy is getting more handsome with age. I have a completely white Goatee to match Andy's beard, I'd say he's certainly becoming quite the "Silver Fox...!!!"
Good lord his voice as lovely as ever. Erasure rocks!!!!!

Think Andy Bell is showing up young clowns what real music is all about, the lyrics in the guy's songs are like poetry, there is something new in every song he writes, a lot of them have a similar style instrumental wise, but no two are the same in terms of the lyrics

You always no what your getting with Erasure . What it says on the can is what u get. What I'm trying to say is the Andy has the voice of an angel Vince the hands finger of a magician. From Day one Who needs love should of been a Massive HIT but for some reason it never was .They struggled with the first few single oh lamour Heavenly Action the Album Wonderland a Flop .But has we all know OH lamour is a massive Erasure Anthem now. Erasure are a credit to the POP industry. The industry has really benefited from Erasure
There songs are all bouncy full of life and love. I'm so so happy the song Sometimes turned there pop career around.( Should of been number 1) Thankyou boys for the Albums wonderland right through too The Neon .The singles who needs love oh lamour heavenly action you kept on going through good bad bad times and now you release at Masterpiece Time heart full of love . Its fabulous wish it had got in the the charts and peaked at number 1 because these boys deserve the very Own number 1. ABBA was great of course if was. But having a number 1 single would be so well deserved.
Please if there is any justice in this world please give the A BRIT award for there recognition to music.

..In France, ERASURE only hit was "Oh l'Amour" and it was a moderate one, peaking at #14. Then, "Sometimes" flopped at #39, and it was the end for them here... :(

Damals lebte ich noch im anderen Deutschland, also hinter der Mauer. Ich hatte durch Zufall die ersten Songs von Erasure entdeckt und mir gefiel die Melodie. Ab da an war ich Fan von euch. Für mich war es eine wilde Zeit. Heute sitze ich noch da und lausche den alten aber auch den neuen Songs und beame mich in Gedanken in das Jahr 1985 . Es ist schön weiter von euch zu hören und das mit neuen und kreativen Songs. Danke dafür...😃👍👍💪💪
