I think there’s also a weight consideration in most attics since they’re only meant to hold up the ceiling under them. My attic has low crossbeams, so I like the idea of a rideable tracked cart for easy access.

Great point! All the more reason to limit your storage up there. I have found the rideable cart a great solution, particularly for the lower roofed attics. Thank you for your contribution!
