As always great stuff. Airports were a lot different in 1968.

Great show, and thank-you for sharing! I was a bit disappointed that none of the Las Vegas mob bosses didn’t at least make a cameo appearance - JUST KIDDING! Actually, I loved the video and how it reminded me of so many things. That was when private aviation was popular and when Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper, and others manufactured a huge array of aircraft. I also liked being reminded of those huge, smoke belching commercial aircraft, when commercial aviation was fun and glamorous. However, I am disappointed that whomever removed the “Delta Airlines” from the “Golden Crown” DC-7B. I can remember hearing those 4 engined, piston driven behemoths from inside my house in plenty of time to run outside and see them fly overhead. Again, thank-you for sharing with us this great bunch of memories.

And they renamed McCarran a few years ago. So disrespectful for them to do that. Burns me up everytime I go to visit family there.

Quick look at a rare 737-100 with the original short engine nacelle's. Wasn't able to make out its livery. Some very interesting general aviation planes too. Love these classic aviation videos!

I love the ex Quantas 707 138 b with the s on the tail...I think s stood for Standard aviation anyway....this is the same type of 707 as John Travolta's 707.

Very different place from the Fallout universe timeline. Awesome to see the good old days and the aircraft back then.

nice little film of this airport and all the various little and large aircraft of the day, was there a viscount turbo prop in there? it looked a little small for a viscount but I am not sure, thanks , rob

If you are talking about the FAA airplane, it is a Gulfstream 159.

Kamina 1703 I am sure Rob was not confusing a DC-7 with a Viscount and did indeed mean the Gulfstream.
