Okay, I'm very late to the party but maybe you can give me an answer: How am I supposed to learn Draven then? Do I try to control the way axes bounce in my first games already or what should I focus on? I am solid on "generic" ADCs such as Twitch or Ashe in both mechanics and macro. I want to learn Draven but I really don't know where to start or what to focus on, since I always feel like I am doing something wrong.
Draven was my otp back in the day and altho nowadays I don't play as much I'll never forget how to train him cause it's the champion that carried me til Master (before gm was introduced). Basically: 1-first focus on catching axes and farming at the same time, try to control the axe landing location to a spot near you not too far, at the beginning going for kills does not matter, what matters first is understanding the motion of catching axes calmly, you could also practice in the training tool a few days rather than matches and then go into the matches but always focusing on farming and juggling first. 2-Once you are comfortable you gotta start trying to go for kills, you'll find yourself very often with low cs but that is ok because the main goal at this stage is to get used to fighting while juggling the axes. 3-Once you are comfortable farming and fighting separately then try to do both at the same time, farming and trying to go for kills when you see an opportunity and always remember axes are just auto attack buffs, it is ok to drop them if that means a kill can be secured. With Draven it is important to practice slowly because otherwise things can go wrong very quickly but once learnt you have the best noob stomper in the game lol
@ Genuinely, thank you so much! That is basically the exact advice I have been looking for. I'll stick to that schedule and see how it goes. I really appreciate it!
so the mobilty boots + 4 zeals + tear build is to increase mark range
