    LOve this!! I want to make one for my daughter she would love this. the voss bottle is a good idea. last sensory bottle I made was with a normal water bottle but this is more visually appealing

    I started at Holly Hobby because it is next to where I work. Then it was Michael's where I found bottles similar to the Voss but with black tops. Then I ended up at Dollar Tree to see what else I could find. I have soooo many things to make sensory bottles! I should be able to keep my grandchildren busy with sensory bottles for a couple of years.

    It seems to help using tacky glue instead of glitter glue and using glycerin. Will have to try this version. It seems to look better than other versions.

      Into the Spectrum Did you experiment to see if there was a visual difference of glitter fall speed & quality in bottles with glycerine in them vs bottles with the clear glue but no glycerine?

    Omg I made one of these for mindfulness camp when I was 12! But we didn’t have clear glue, so we used white glue instead 😅

    We tried many recipes to make the BEST GLITTER SENSORY BOTTLES! This is the one that LOOKED THE BEST and SWIRLED THE LONGEST!!! :) It was also a lot of fun to make! Watch and learn!

    I know you probably don't remember because the video is old. Lol. But how many nickles did you out in the Voss light blue glitter bottle? The sound is PERFECT for me but I don't know how many nickles you have in that one to get that exact sound.?

      I find the consistency of plain mineral oil, which is thicker than baby oil, a great substitute for glycerin.

    Tried to make one. Water, glitter...clumps. I’ll have to try your method.
    Update: added glue be a bit of glycerine. No more clumps (thank you for helping me solve that) but I do have bubbles I can't seem to get rid of. Any tips?

    What is the shelf life on something like this? Doesn't the glycerin prevent a water from creating mold over time? I am thinking of these are presents for 1yr olds.. so I don't want it to last a few months and then be ruined. These yall made are beautiful! (I also have anxiety and I'm thinking my friend and I may need one as well. ;) )

      Into the Spectrum Clear Elmers Glue works well too (the same clear glue that ppl use to make crystal clear slime!).

    I found this really cool glow in the dark Elmers glue i wanted to use in mine, but it's still clumpy after adding the warm water and mixing it (a lot.) Can anyone help?

      I think it has to be tacky glue. But you may be able to find some glow in the dark paint! That would be awesome! Just put some in with the Tacky Glue!

      I think it might help the glitter swirl more smoothly & easily, especially if you want to make the swirling vortex effect like in bottle no. 3. It might also help to prevent glitter flakes from sticking to the inner wall of the bottle or jar.

      Clear tacky glue makes it thick so the colors swirl better! And glycerin also make the swirls thick as well as preserves the color!

    Feel the bottle up with water, leave it soaking in water over night. The label will come off very easily. No need to spend money on Goo gone!!
