hi please could you make a video explaining how cadences work e.g. how to recognise which chord goes before which and the rules for each progression. Like recognising the cadence is alright but the chord bit is a nightmare thanks :)
Hello, thank you so much for this brilliant and amazing video, this would helps me to practice a lot when I'm having my grade 8 exam in less than 3 days. Sorry but I don't quite understand IVa and V7a, I'm being confused on what does the a represents there? Thank you so much!!!
Can you please like play an easy song that is not ode to joy or happy birthday or twinkle twinkle or Mary had a little lamb because I want to learn how to play by ear so I will hear what you are playing and then I will play it after you or you can make some exercises for playing by ear. I know you always reply and do as your fans want that's why I came to you not anyone else thank you so much you are the best

Hi, the ABRSM app has help on cadences - you could try that too.

via google I found it: gb.abrsm.org/en/exam-support/apps-and-practice-tools/aural-trainer/
Do you have test for modulation
Thanks for watching - no I've not done that one - but if you search around you'll find some examples...
Are there any answers for singing the lower part ?

That's great to hear - glad it helped!
IVa = 4th chord (subdominant) in root position
V7a = 5th chord (dominant) with 7th added, in root position

"Repeat the lowest part".
The lowest part- is literally a syncopated counter melody that is impossible to follow.
Thanks for watching - keep on practising, what seems impossible will become a bit more possible hopefully :)
