I noticed you aren’t playing a healer on Boneskinner. If things go wrong, healing goes from fine to very difficult. You recommended a scourge and I agree, or a Druid works. The thing is, not everyone plays those specs. I do, but most pugs don’t. So Boneskinner is “easy” with the right comp, and incredibly punishing to a poor comp. Firebrand is actually not great on that strike unless the team is solid.
Big agree there, I'd generally advocate for even a 3-healer setup for Boneskinner if you're struggling, which perhaps I should've mentioned in the video. I was on qdps during that run.
@@Dark_Wizard_of_Mu Yup in my experience, those have been the best two for newer groups. Their ranged resurrection/pull skills are carry hard. For training folks, as soon as they downstate and get stuck in a death puddle, it becomes dangerous to the healer (and the group's overall survival) to attempt to res them. FB technically has its ranged res signet skill, but its other utilities are extremely strong.
I actually like forging steel. It feels like a map that was supposed to be a raid that got canceled. Imagine the other 2 boss encounters being actual raid bosses and the forgemaster being a lot harder.
@@ytivarg5371 I’m also a fan of Forging Steel, but I’ve always interpreted it as essentially being an instanced meta-event a la Battle For Lion’s Arch or Dragonstorm. In either case, I think it being classified as a strike when it very clearly isn’t was a big blow to its potential success.
I am kinda newish to the game, but I didnt realize that I actually finished the “sit alone at lunch” missions without realizing it’s the meta thing for legendary items. LMAO!
To clarify, Forging Steel isn't ideal for grinding materials or anything like that. The Legendary Amulet awarded by the Seasons of the Dragons achievement requires you to complete certain objectives in each living world map, and the Forging Steel section is pretty infamous for taking a long time to complete.

dude i completed the forging still almost solo it, just a random guy helping me keeping the tank alive while i was moving killing stuff... very sufferable stuff to to for the leg amulet
Been a good while since I last posted, but I've been meaning to drag myself back into it... I do actually have a half-finished script for the Cantha strikes, so maybe I should get on that...
It’s pretty easy to miss that Varinia is an important character and not just some random Frost Legion, they pretty much don’t reveal her name until the strike.
You think this will help the people it's addressed to? There's a reason they need help for this content to begin with- Not only that, I'm convinced they can barely read or write or even focus for long enough for this :3 As for Skinner, don't propagate the use of HSCG... Just force people to learn to walk left and kick if they fail that 2-3 times in a row :3 Sorry not sorry!
Curses! Not walking slightly to the left, my only weakness!
This was the kind of degradation I needed today. Thank you. I feel properly equipped to be upset with myself upon wiping at any of these strikes!
Can't wait for Can'tha.
If I do more of these (which I absolutely want to if there's demand for them), Cantha Strikes are probably what I'll do next.

What are the best healers for BS? HAS, HAD and what else?
@@sscaideTotally agree, 3 healers is perfect for new/training groups. Love QDPS Herald, big respect, one of my favorite specs.

God, quality sarcasm like this is so hard to come by in this ultra kind and generous game. Keep it up 🖖
I like this direction! Nice work
satire + gw2 content , monkey like it.

Yeah, the whole thing is pretty easy to solo on a build with decent sustain. I used to solo it a ton when I was working on IBS achievement completion.
Fun take
funni, subbed
Nice video, i sub and wait for cantha :D
More videos please!

You don`t need healer for shiverpeaks path
100% true for experienced groups, but I expect pugs would find a way to down even against Icebrood Construct... Or maybe I just have pug trust issues.
On point. 👍
But.... hear me out... what if i move slightly to the right

I love your voice. Or is it the sarcasm voice? :O #stopseducinguswithyourvoice

nothing better than a clicker making fun of even worse players xD
