- Have you ever brought a deck into your collection you NEVER thought you would? The Dreams of Gaia is that deck for me.

Dreams of Gaia was the 2nd deck I ever bought. It has its own system. It is somewhat similar to RWS. The major arcana only has the number and title. Each suit if down as the elements. Blue for water (cups), , Green for Earth ( pentacles), red for Fire ( wands), white for Air( swords). It can be intimidating but it is , at least for me, a fantastic intuition deck. I get some wonderful readings. Though I will admit that I don’t know if I would use it to read for others.
Frogs are symbols of fertility, rebirth, wealth, abundance, and ancient wisdom.

And yeah I am really excited to get to know it and to be able to use it more practically for myself.
It definitely doesn't seem like a deck I would use for others either.
I knew you meant Adam Lambert! He sings with Queen now. Any time a card looks an actual person(famous or not), I always make that part of what that card means to me. This deck has never enticed me, but maybe it will call to me in the future. I enjoy your videos❤

Hello! It's very nice to see you! Something strange has happened! For several years I looked at the "Dreams of Gaia Tarot" deck and realized that I would never be able to work with these cards because of the illustrations. They caused me rejection. Now I've reviewed the gallery and realized that some of the images have become better perceived, although I don't see any beauty in them.

I have this deck and it’s definitely its own system… it honestly doesn’t have anything to do with Gaia the goddess, or even the earth, imo… if you want something more about connecting with Gaia I would suggest the Gaian Tarot by Joanna Powell Colbert (also one of the creators of the herbcrafters tarot). It’s a very earth centered deck. (I do have and love all three decks mentioned)
Thank you for this suggestion! I did suspect that the deck as a whole had little to do with Gaia, sadly. And is probably why I haven't picked it up since this filming this video 😂
I've looked at the Gaian Tarot multiple times and think that for the most part it's beautiful but some of the people look so strange to me I'm not sure I could work with it. BUT the I think how much some people love the Anna K Tarot and THOSE people are really oddly drawn so... Maybe I need to give it a chance. Thanks for making the suggestion! 🥰
@@sincerelyshannadee If you want a deck to truly connect you to mother Earth, The Herbcrafter's Tarot is the one or the Taror of the Great Outdoors (but maybe wait 2 months on that one as they are reprinting it on a better cardstock! 😊)
@@Tarotismagic thank you ☺️ I have Herbcrafter's and 🩷 her! AND I bought Tarot of the Great Outdoors last year when Amidst the Gray reviewed and it. I may buy a second copy when it's re-relaesdd but to be honest I 🩷 that cardstock. I may be the only one 😂

I have this deck and every time I get it to to delve into it I put it back away. not sure what exactly is going on with that. Id love to do a deck study of this with you so let me know.. I always see the open doors when I see it through different eyes.
