My mother was first generation immigrant from Nederland. My grandmother was brought to America, at 16, as an indentured servant. She learned English and became a citizen, where she learned that she was free. She cleaned houses for rich people to support her family. They lived in the black neighborhood with diversity, community. My mother became educated as a nurse. I became an architectural Designer and finished law school at 60. I used my Law Degree to change laws for the disabled. My daughter and her husband are school teachers. It is so rewarding to see leaders that put people before profits. Everyone deserves a chance to learn and grow. It is not socialism to care about others. To give people a chance to be educated, grow and help others is THE GOLDEN RULE. 💙🗳️💯💙🗳️💯

Your story is amazing. Legal immigration is a wonderful thing. This Democratic duo has another agenda. They do not put the people first. Never thought I'd say this, but Tim Walz, a middle-aged, white guy from the plains is someone who would be a pleasure to hang with or see at a Springsteen concert. He's very genuine, relatable and respectable. I like Tim. Harris and Walz have a great rapport; they make a strong, successful team. How about having The Boss sing at the inauguration?

Not a fan of Harris for so many reasons. I am from California ... it's a mess here and she was part of the problem. Also for calling on people to bail out violent criminals during the 2020 riots which ended up with people being victimized including at least one murder. And Walz lying on his military rank and such and signing off on putting tampons in boys restrooms.

I was so hopeless about the future of our country just such a short few weeks ago. This feeling of hope I get listening to these two adults being authentic and genuinely trying to unite our country almost brought me to tears. I cannot believe I can finally vote for a ticket that I am genuinely excited and hopeful about. That isn't even touching on the revelation (to me) that Kamala specialized in prosecuting child SA offenders. I think I literally heard the "Duh Dunnn" from Law & Order Special Victims Unit play in my brain. I freaking adore both of these people
Im Canadian and the thought of DT getting in again put me into a bit of a depression. Kamala and Tim have definitely lifted the spirits of not only Americans, but many people around the world. We all rely on America for so much, and its good to see it heading in a positive direction.

If republicans have power, they will continue to work to destroy the middle class, keep wages low to provide cheap labor for the rich, and increase the deficit by shoveling money into the pockets of the rich as they have always done. I like the fact that they talk about everything. You have to remember politics has to take a break every so often. This team is amazing. But, in the end, they still feel politics and national issues are important too.
They addressed their policies in a few rallies, as well as the democratic national convention. They include restricting gun access to prevent school shootings, making school lunches free for children across America, tax cuts for the middle class, ceasefire in Gaza, environmental laws, and much much more.
