It was an honor to be a demon in this video and do some of the makeup. Thank you to Industrialism Films and Cradle of Filth for letting me raise some hell with you.

Is your name Choronzon?
How short was Dani Filth in real life?
Nice demon
Can't believe how relentless this song is. Did not see Cradle going this hard so many years in
Its been 30+ yrs & whatever technique Dani into for his Voice gotta admire & respect his Vocal Cord. Man that’s some consistence to do in Black Metal. He’s pure definition of Wine.
Unfortunately, the technique he uses does a tremendous amount of damage to your throat and vocal chords. If I'm not mistaken, he had to get surgery on his throat to remove some nodules that had formed. Hopefully, he has figured out how to make that sound in a healthier way.
@@DTfan43 he's only use that tech on studio, to safe his throat...
He actually sounds younger?!!
@@DTfan43 it's SUPER obvious that he's using a completely different strategy here for the vocals and sadly it's falling very flat compared to what we're used to, atleast to me. His highs arnt hitting that almost mesmerizing pitch, it's like a note or two that's too flat and his dirtier, lower grovel even sounds held back.
@@TerminalM193 i guess he is doing that technique in a more healthy way. Beats having to get surgery all the time. Dani is also 48 now. Definitely not going to sound the same especially since he was doing that technique wrong for the majority of Cradle of Filth's albums.
This band is aging like a fine wine, holy fuck
A lot of their stuff from 2000-now has sucked, though. This is pretty great.
Yesssss👹🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@EgoffTib I accept your wrong opinion
@@EgoffTib agreed. Haven't enjoyed a full album since Barker left, just occasional songs. This is surprisingly REALLY good though, I'm optimistic

That vocal technique is just so on point.

This version of Cradle is the best. Going on a line of great albums in a row. Cradle has become a Black Metal "super band". None are better. Martin Skaroupka is one of the best drummers on the planet. Entire band is extremely talented.
Absolutely right, from the guitarists with their hyperhighspeed heavy hellish Metal style a la Iron Maiden on Pervitin over Marthus flawless fast n furious detail doped demonic drumming to the unbelievable unique vocal performancek diversity of Dani himself - CoF improve and proof their souvereign ability and creativity. I know they're not the best but they possibly will become top three soon. My honest respect for this ass kicking act!
Great orchestrations, sick drummer, catchy riffs, Dani being Dani... this is COF!!!!
Same epic honest level since hammer of the witches 🤟🏿💀🤟🏿

@@TheSkilfingarReally? I mean, don't get me wrong. I love cradle of filth and this song. But this is pretty tame in comparison to most black metal.
Dude he’s such an insane drummer I hope he never leaves CoF

They’ve been back on form since Hammer Of The Witches and this song is absolutely killer. Can’t wait for the LP.
Have to agree. Hammer was great and they've been putting out proper tunes since then for sure. This new track rips infernal taints!! 🔥🔥🔥

Ravaged are the heavens
Seven angels are deployed
The seals delivered
To return us to the void
Now waiting on the cusp of many dusks of man
He watches as the masses seek a fake salvation
As He breeds annihilation
Now death is law
Venom dripping from the mouth of madness
Incites the rites of war
Prepare the heights of Empire for the agonising fall
The beast is rising
Enwreathed in flame
The soundtrack bleeds insanity
His theme the screaming End of Days
Come, Crawling King Chaos, come!
Sing his name in rapture
Wormwood, bitter, spat in tongues
Of ancient Pandemonia
For the ghosts all shall become
Returning to the churning of primordial seas
The Order of Disorder restored through tribulation
Through this bred annihilation

Satan has fallen
Midst dark waters of the earth

One reason this band will always be my favorite band ever is how they stay sounding hard after all these years.
How this bands constantly changes their sound, while staying true to who they are, never really going softer - I'm so happy having found you in my teens.
Thornography was kind of melodic, but yeah I agree with your statement
@@Rafael-kr6zv yeah and I think that album came out when they were with roadrunner records, this label is known to turn bands into shit good thing COF didn’t stay there for long
I mean they were ass from 2004-2012, with the only exception being Godspeed and some of Nymphetamine.
Well nymphetamine and thornography were a bit on the softer side they are closer to their original sound now
Were the more melodic albums any good, or did they sound forced/uninspired? Asking as someone who only discovered this band now and enjoys (relatively) melodic metal.
When a bunch of ultra-skilled musicians marry classical music with extreme metal.
Dear Lord, this is insanely good!! Still after all these years, unbelievable!
2:14 killer riffs
I don’t even know what to say, This is probably one of their best songs.
Yup, nothing cheesy or "off" about it, it's a banger.
Not gonna lie, i totally agree
And yet youre saying it=)
As a long time fan I disagree. Since Godspeed I have not been hooked. Had a couple of decent songs but nothing compared to the olds
Been with this band since before the Midian days.. in terms of longevity, they're up there with the best.
