He did well with his interpretation of 'Bubur Cha Cha'. It's one of the traditional desserts in Peranakan cuisine. I missed this dessert made by my great aunts. Thumbs up from a Malaysian.

Hi! I can smell the pandan leaves already! There is also a similar dessert from the northern part of the Philippines. We call it tambo-tambo. My grandma used to cook it for us. Brings me back to my childhood. Thank you very much.

in southern Philippines we call it binignit or tabirak. Go-to snacks in the afternoon. And traditionally the only meal during Holy Week.

Technically, it is an Asian dessert with variations across countries of South East Asia. In Philippines, we have a similar dessert called Ginataang Bilo Bilo. Japan has a similar dish where they use shiratama balls instead. In Thai, there is one as well with highlights on their sweet mango.
Asians are cool with their desserts. :)

Wow, this dessert is very similar to Vietnamese dessert. The coconut and panda flavor is the key signature. Colorful fruits and yams makes beautiful presentation. Thumb up!
