Those who have been to turkey years ago it used to be mega cheap for food and drink but it’s getting to the point where you have to go all inclusive and go out the odd time for a meal and drink
Nice one Ian! Covering the prices. Very good value for money, but how much are the "locals" paying. It seems the vendors and traders charging tourists way above inflated prices.
Another great video ian we fly out tommorow cant wait still some decent prices, its the place and the people that draw us back every year love the place and the people 😁.
Do you feel that’s exspensive though ? Yea they have gone up but so has everywhere in the world ? Hair cut in Uk for me is £15 - Turkiye £5 , a beer is £4.50 Uk Turkiye £2.35 , nails for wife £55Uk - Turkiye £25, full English 🏴 £9.99 and it’s with a cup of tea , Turkiye £8.50 I feel it’s still cheaper than Uk however it is as less then half price compared to Uk now it’s closer to 3/4 so still fair but not like we know it
Alcohol Prices in hisaronu are nearly double price than Calais totally unacceptable the tourist is getting shafted left right and centre that’s why tourists numbers are well down this year u shud go to the nightclubs and get there prices totally unacceptable tourism in Turkey is finished bud shame as greed was there downfall
Going to Belek soon with family. Turkeys inflation has gone crazy so don’t think it’s rip off prices just a reflection of economy. Conversely UK is getting more lira for pound.
Hi, this is the first time travelling to turkey in August. I’ve heard for years that it’s cheap and great, been watching these videos for a while. Our last 2 holidays have been St Lucia and Dominican Republic. Starting to think the price we’ve paid for turkey bed and breakfast and eating out/drinking we’d have been better putting that cost to us going back to the Caribbean all inclusive. Thought we’d try turkey to see what the fuss was about and looking at most of these videos , most of it looks a dump . Praying we are wrong and we love it 🙏
@@steves9941 I guess you have to look at the overall package as I know it’s more for St Lucia to fly and get an all in so I’d say it’s a lot more to get there than Turkey but does it stack up after your spend
£3000 for holiday to oludeniz 2 weeks for 3 adults, just priced Dominican all inclusive £4700…. Think we will end up spending more than £1700 in oludeniz 🤦 😂
When you stay in Turkey full time thats when you notice the difference the days of going out every day are long gone but as you say still cheaper than blighty but cant treat it as a 2 week holiday
@@KayBattram it’s only a basic one which was on App Store , I just typed in converter and it came up , I am sure it’s called converter or currency converter, it’s an orange looking screen
Prices in Turkey are out of order.. People won't be back next year they are taking the piss
