I got both Yellow and Stealth!
I recently got the GA-B2100-1AER, the black version with the positive LCD display and retro-inspired accent colors. I think this is arguably the best G-Shock ever made. Its size and design means it can be worn for almost every occasion while at the same time having added functionality thanks to Bluetooth and excellent battery life thanks to Tough Solar. The fact that it costs less than 200 ameribucks makes it supremely affordable, too. An absolute gem of a watch. Well done, Casio. They took the Casioak and precisely made it even better.
Where u find one for less than 200 all on amazon are 250 plus

If anyone buys this watch for the LCD digital watch, then complain about the readability, they are barking up the wrong tree. The analog dials is the primary time teller on these watches, so better start learning how to tell the time with them hands.
I use the lcd for only three things and that is date, seconds counter for matching other clocks/watches and finally the timer. My join has 15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunches so the timer gets lists of use
I have a yellow one, really comfortable watch and I don't misplace it if I take it off.

Question! I just getting the black with positive display version. However when I hold it with my own hand, the resin quality on ga-b2100's strap and bezel does seem a downgrade from the OG ga-2100. The resin feels more flexible but overall watch weight is lighter than the OG ga-2100. Do you feel the same way?
It has a feature of Autolight when u tilt the watch?
I wonder when there will be a similar upgrade for GA2000....?
I didn't really care for the original, GA-2100, but I got the JDM, GA-B2100C-9AJF (same as on the video) I like it.
Is it possible to combine the digital mechanism from the yellow watch with the metal case from a green GM-2100B-3AER ?
That would be the ultimate combination . .

I am very very confused with the all black model.
The glow element looks not as visible as all the other variants.
Is that true? That would be a odd decision because it minimize the usability beyond just being another variant.
That would be a no go for me and I will stick to the blue variant.
True.. I own the blacked out version and it is slightly more challenging to read. I love the look of it though!

So I have a question: I purchased one from a third party website and this is the box that it came in. I was afraid that it was fake because all of the other videos that i have seen have the watch in a tin that is inside of the box. Is this packaging like Japan exclusive?

The app is called Casio Watches which is the actually G shock Bluetooth app.
Please show the companion application on a mobile phone, as i know, this new series not using the normal G-Shock App.

Neither are for me, the green one though looks fantastic.
That stealthy black version just looks WAY too dark - kind of pointless if you can't see the time easily.
There's a black version that's not-stealth if that's an issue.

@@darthkek1953 You are correct. But the positive display and the color accents IMO takes away the asthetic look.
I stick to the blue one. More visibility, fits to most looks ... in the future the yellow and green will follow.
Why they show different time? (6:23; all of my BT G-shocks are in sync)
You have to pair them with a smartphone first before they'll time sync. He likely hasn't done that yet in this video.

Can the day & date be displayed simultaneously ?
No, the seconds are always displayed on top, and you can cycle Date, Day, Time for the bottom.

what does the Bluetooth accomplish?
if you install the app, your watch gets the time from your smartphone plus you can set alarms
Hoping for metal version in a smaller form soon

What is Bluetooth used for? I’m waiting the feature of vibration notification from mobile phone to buy a gshock
Great idea, however it will use a lot of battery, not sure if tough solar can support that.

BT is just to sync the sommer and winter time and to sync alarms.
I am glad, they limited it to that function ... Gshock will never be a smartwatch (beside the sport watch they released) ... it goes against every principle (simple, reliable, long lasting battery . The last one is the most crucial aspect!)
@@VampirusX I just hoping for simple notification vibration. Never wanted other features from other smartwatches like tracking, health, etc. I always silence my phone at work and a simple vibration on my watch for calls and messages is a bless.
@@pyaesonephyowai7924 Well. Vibration consumes more power than just audible notification and it would make the watch less reliable.
Gshock never changed their opinion on the concept of those watches.
They don't need to compete with modern watches.
They are reliable and long lasting.

I think, a stealth variant should not differ in materials and functionality.

I don't see the point in spending 30gbp extra compared to the previous, which is nearly 1/3.

the yellow one looks cheap
And it's higher priced than the others. I may still get one. At least you won't be robbed for your watch

Not the perfect sequel. Removal of valuable features and price increase for bullshit. Bluetooth on this watch is stupid. Solar is okay if it's your main watch. Removing the day of the week wheel DUMB. Not as good as the original.
