The Casio Watches app worked for me for pairing, and it was seamless, although it was strange as I couldn't get this watch to ever appear on bluetooth on my iPhone. RR, I know this video of yours is from 2 years ago, but I just wanted to know did you ever get around to swapping the modules around on these two Casio G-Shock B2100. If you did, is there video of you showing what they look like after the swap. I agree with you, I think the yellow module would look better in the black case version, and I'm thinking of doing the swap around myself. 👍

I receive the black with positive display. I like it, especially those watches with positive display. Later, i may buy some metal bezel for it. My "casio watches" app got no issue, I am using xiaomi mi10t.

this watch in black with white and lumed indices, plus the protrek triple censor (compass, barometer, and thermometer), would become one of the best sport watches ever produced.
I got the yellow and love it. It's actually my second yellow CasioOak, but the other is more mustardy color as opposed to the lemon yellow on the GAB. I bought mine from Casio direct and didn't get the 20 percent off; at that price it's a no brainer. You're right about the app not showing the GAB as well.
You’ll see those upgrades you want next year as it’s the 40th anniversary. I reckon the old full metal squares will be discontinued and updated too. It’s a new Casio app for these ga2100’s.
Why, if if is already syncing with your phone four times a day and getting the correct time there? Wouldn’t multiband just be redundant and an unnecessary battery drain?
@@waltwearswatches3056 how the watch syncing with the phone 4 times a day, it must be in the background and says waiting for connection and automatically at 12:30 will sync with the phone or i must do something else, thanks
Also, I am very much with you on the swapping of the dial/module due to the better legibility of the yellow version. Also lumed indexes would be great.. Probably going to be a future release. Currently the only gripe I have with mine is the fact that the day/date format cannot be swapped, which is pretty annoying...
I received the yellow one today. The strap and case feel really cheap compared to the original Casioak parts. The watch is cool but feels like a toy compared to other G Shocks. I can hear in the video the yucky plastic squeaks when Bob handles the watch. Same on mine.
yeah that is correct - there is another app 'Casio Watches' and paired my GB2100 to my phone with no problems

Normally wouldn't go with yellow or bold colors but it would make a killer summer watch.

Casio has a separate app for this watch, which is stupid. They need to consolidate all their connected apps.
There is no reason why that can't consolidate their numerous apps to one maybe two. Have a few watches and have to two apps on the phone.

resins bnds have a short life...i went metal years ago...these watches last forever
there are different grades... e.g. the resin band on the GMW5000 is better than lower tier squares

The reason why I think the Yellow is $160 maybe it’s because that’s now everybody’s favorite.
I had the yellow one but I sold it because it has a squeaks noise everytime when I moved my wrist.
I actually think there might be another app for these.

The manual has a QR code that will send you in their website and it will connect from there..so no app needed ;) u welcome

What’s the Bluetooth functionality of the watch?
Setting things, but mainly it pulls time info few times a day to keep it super accurate
Wrong app, look for app called casio watches and then you just put in the 3/4 digit number on the back of the watch
The yellow version needs the black watches hands and indices, but leaving the indices, bright.
I went to you store/outlet and inventory is out. Can you say what the discount code will take off should I decide to wait on inventory?
Often with Gshock these models have a short cycle. Guessing they are gone
