If we really get a MADS flashback in the cover stories, and the Kuma flashback in the actual manga, this can be a very smartly written arc by the time we reach the end. Just think how well planned and a blast to read the Final Saga would be if this stays the same!

There's a post on reddit called future storyline - one piece which is either a leak of the future 2 years of the manga, or a very broad theory. It claims this ancient power source is electricity, and links it with the moon people, Uranus, etc. Read at your own risk.
The thing is - remember Luffy's definition of "friends"? It's not what we would consider "friends". Ultimately, if you are not against him or hurt anyone he loves, chances are he'd consider you a friend. So really, it is everyone, he just hasn't met everyone yet to make that distinction lol
Also, a thing to consider is that Luffy makes friends with kings/queens who overlook entire countries/islands. They also want to feed their country so Luffy by proxy would also want to help them

This is the first video of yours that I'm watching, but it's very clear that you put in a lot of effort and particular thought into it. I really appreciate your articulation and structuring of your argument (used to mean case, not quarrel). I do think there was some betrayal going on back before the void century. When Doflamingo was being transported to Impel Down and was chatting with Tsuru, he mentioned two questions that I think are key to the entire story: - who is going to side with who? (the 20 nations sided against the ancient kingdom long ago) - who is going to betray who? (seeing how highly propped up or esteemed the ancient kingdom has been so far, it seems more and more likely that they were done in from the inside, from someone who knew their weaknesses or granted their enemies access to their strengths; since their strengths or weapons were probably the only thing that could take down the ancient kingdom). Honestly, I just want more of Doflamingo. He knows so much, and we need him to talk before the Celestials from Mariejois are successful in shutting him up, or before Impel Down gets beamed like Lulusia.

It's already been established why Boa's fruit is so good -- doesn't matter what your DF power is, how strong you are, or how advanced your haki, if you find her 'beautiful', you lose. Super OP, although its usefulness is maximized by being Boa's, I don't think you'd get the same level of brokenness if anyone else was using it

I wanna see Luffy humiliate Lucci like when Po fought Tai Lung. Make him bite his own tail; swing him around by it; skadoosh him into the sky with his gum-gum balloon. We all know he doesn't stand a chance against Luffy and the epicness of their first fight can't be recreated. So the only thing left to do is make it funny to show just how outclassed Lucci is now.
Something occurred to me while watching this video - maybe the treasure at Laugh Tale is a kind of stable (cold) fusion reactor that needs the Ancient Weapons to start it up, one that can give energy to the whole world? Going off Vegapunk's dreams here and that the Ancient Kingdom had a power source that he didn't understand, and Rayleigh's statement that "When you find the One Piece you can decide what to do with it" (or something to that effect), there's an implication that something at Laugh Tale can be actively used and it's not just knowledge. If we take the analogy of a massive nuclear reactor a step further, the world being covered in water may be because it was shut down when the Ancient Kingdom fell and all the water being used to cool it was let out on the world all at once. The reactor could be under the crust, or even in the core of the world which could explain why no one just stumbles upon Laugh Tale (and also why there's a giant hold under Enies Lobby). So, all of that was written when I was still about halfway through the video. Now that I've seen the end of it, I think the 20 kingdoms could have taken over one or more of the Ancient Weapons and sabotaged the reactor causing it to explode, shattering the world (we know there's a Pangea castle in world) into hundreds of small islands, messing up the worldwide climate control the Ancient Kingdom was using and creating the world we see today. Oda not only has Japan's history with atomic bombs but also recent disasters like the Fukushima plant (which happened because of a tsunami) to work into this nuclear energy plot element.

I think other than what the giants may be guarding, I think the military might of a massive army of giants is also no joke and is another reason why Big Mom could have been king of the pirates. Hell, one of big Mom's moves is copying what Dory and Brogy did to get the straw hats out of a big fish. Sure she adds armament and perhaps conqueror's haki to it, but imagine an army of giants that cover a horizon doing that

This may be a long shot but I’m starting to believe that the One Piece is something that needs fuel and that fuel being the Eternal Flame. I really appreciate your approach and overview of the Nuclear Letter as an example of what great power can do negatively even when it has good possibilities too. Though I think It is also veeery important to not forget the good side of it which is nuclear power. Nuclear power is exponentially more powerful and efficient than all other current forms of energy. And with current designs and procedures, nuclear waste is drastically reduced compared to what it used to be and then a majority of what is left can be used in small scale breeder reactors and then the 0.0001 of nuclear waste that is left can just be buried. And to anyone who is uninformed and says that's still a lot of waste we are putting into the earth, coal mining alone releases more radioactive (naturally occurring) material into the atmosphere by orders of magnitudes (I recommend Kursgesagt's video about launching nuclear waste into space they talk about this too). Oh and with current designs, LFTR's, though not implemented, meltdowns would be impossible shy of someone blowing up the plant.

just a few points: 1. think the reason Atlas was able to hurt Luffy was because Luffy had his gaurd down, thinking Atlas is just another Hologram same as the ones he tried to hit earlier, and went right through. 2. from what we've seen about the interactions between devil fruits and haki, Kuma's Paw powers should theoretically not work at all on someone with haki stronger than his, unless their haki is down or they allow it. 3. theory: im thinking the original Kuma will die and pass on his will and duty of protecting Bonnie to his Seraphim. I also think there is a chance that the Boa Seraphim will fall in love with Luffy and not attack him. 4. for fks sake, its not LO-JIA, its LO-GEE-AH. We are literally 1000+ episodes in and both sub and dub pronounce it as such. unless im the idiot here.

What if Vegapunk kidnaps Luffy to use him as a battery to create free energy for the world, and all his allies have to team up to save him? In Vegapunk's mind with all the evil he's seen would he be unwilling to sacrifice one life to in his mind "save the world?"
It's already been established why Boa's fruit is so good -- doesn't matter what your DF power is, how strong you are, or how advanced your haki, if you find her 'beautiful', you lose. Super OP, although its usefulness is maximized by being Boa's, I don't think you'd get the same level of brokenness if anyone else was using it

Something occurred to me while watching this video - maybe the treasure at Laugh Tale is a kind of stable (cold) fusion reactor that needs the Ancient Weapons to start it up, one that can give energy to the whole world? Going off Vegapunk's dreams here and that the Ancient Kingdom had a power source that he didn't understand, and Rayleigh's statement that "When you find the One Piece you can decide what to do with it" (or something to that effect), there's an implication that something at Laugh Tale can be actively used and it's not just knowledge. If we take the analogy of a massive nuclear reactor a step further, the world being covered in water may be because it was shut down when the Ancient Kingdom fell and all the water being used to cool it was let out on the world all at once. The reactor could be under the crust, or even in the core of the world which could explain why no one just stumbles upon Laugh Tale (and also why there's a giant hold under Enies Lobby).
So, all of that was written when I was still about halfway through the video.
Now that I've seen the end of it, I think the 20 kingdoms could have taken over one or more of the Ancient Weapons and sabotaged the reactor causing it to explode, shattering the world (we know there's a Pangea castle in world) into hundreds of small islands, messing up the worldwide climate control the Ancient Kingdom was using and creating the world we see today. Oda not only has Japan's history with atomic bombs but also recent disasters like the Fukushima plant (which happened because of a tsunami) to work into this nuclear energy plot element.
Good video Sawyer. This is making me think that Uranus may be powered by that energy source of the ancient kingdom (or maybe a small part of that original energy)

I think other than what the giants may be guarding, I think the military might of a massive army of giants is also no joke and is another reason why Big Mom could have been king of the pirates. Hell, one of big Mom's moves is copying what Dory and Brogy did to get the straw hats out of a big fish. Sure she adds armament and perhaps conqueror's haki to it, but imagine an army of giants that cover a horizon doing that

This may be a long shot but I’m starting to believe that the One Piece is something that needs fuel and that fuel being the Eternal Flame. Which would explain why Roger said he was too early bc Joyboy (the key person who can make this fuel) wasn’t present in the story yet. Idk it’s just a passing thought I had.

How the tables have turned, or rather come full circle… wasn’t it Luffy (well technically Sogeking, but directed by Luffy) who First Declared War on the WG? And now look who did it in return… The Awakened Cat Lucci
Lucci should be about gear 4th Ryo Level of power, people thinking Luffy will 1 one shot him are brain dead. Lucci was more skilled as a fighter than Luffy or Zoro. Luffy only won thru his will to keep going. Rob has probably pushed the limits of his rokushiki and acquired a similar level of power as ryo just like Jimbei with fishman karate and Rob has mastered his devil fruit so that level of physical power should put him in clashes with gear 4th and gear 3rd haki attacks. Also, people who think Who's who and Rob Lucci are equals are also brain dead, Who's who haven't been around the organization since Gomu Gomu was stolen so both him and Rob were probably the fighters with the most potential but that was over a decade ago.
Literally facts bro, they’re just the power happy power scalers who think just bc he beat kaido he can one shot anyone from pre timeskip. Luffy is strong but not invincible. Keep in mind rob lucci was literally trolling luffy the whole fight about him not getting pass to save his friends and basically testing luffy’s patience he was easily keeping up with luffy speed as well. It’s as if people forgot the scene where usopp was yelling at luffy to get up MULTIPLE times and he couldn’t move at all, let’s be real if Lucci was intentionally trying to go straight for the kill luffy would be dead meat rn and his whole crew would’ve been screwed at ennies lobby.

This really makes you wonder about the recent events in Lulucia kingdom and how cp0 suggested that vegapunk might be involved. Vegapunk could have contributed to their destruction through his creations like with the letter from Einstein

I really appreciate your approach and overview of the Nuclear Letter as an example of what great power can do negatively even when it has good possibilities too. Though I think It is also veeery important to not forget the good side of it which is nuclear power.
Nuclear power is exponentially more powerful and efficient than all other current forms of energy. And with current designs and procedures, nuclear waste is drastically reduced compared to what it used to be and then a majority of what is left can be used in small scale breeder reactors and then the 0.0001 of nuclear waste that is left can just be buried. And to anyone who is uninformed and says that's still a lot of waste we are putting into the earth, coal mining alone releases more radioactive (naturally occurring) material into the atmosphere by orders of magnitudes (I recommend Kursgesagt's video about launching nuclear waste into space they talk about this too).
Oh and with current designs, LFTR's, though not implemented, meltdowns would be impossible shy of someone blowing up the plant.
The world of One Piece is a Dyson Sphere theory becomes more and MORE possible as time goes on!

just a few points:
1. think the reason Atlas was able to hurt Luffy was because Luffy had his gaurd down, thinking Atlas is just another Hologram same as the ones he tried to hit earlier, and went right through.
2. from what we've seen about the interactions between devil fruits and haki, Kuma's Paw powers should theoretically not work at all on someone with haki stronger than his, unless their haki is down or they allow it.
3. theory: im thinking the original Kuma will die and pass on his will and duty of protecting Bonnie to his Seraphim. I also think there is a chance that the Boa Seraphim will fall in love with Luffy and not attack him.
4. for fks sake, its not LO-JIA, its LO-GEE-AH. We are literally 1000+ episodes in and both sub and dub pronounce it as such. unless im the idiot here.
Well, people from the US do have a tendency to pronounce every word or name they come across that's foreign in a *SUUUUUPER* american way, never even considering that it's just not something you're supposed to do and it's disrespectful to the language/culture/person you pronounce wrong.
