  • Whole30 Tantanmen Ramen (Paleo, Gluten-Free, Soy-free, Easy)// What to do when you crave Japanese ramen noodle soup in the middle of a cold winter? How about a low carb and guilt-free Whole30 Tentenman Ramen! My tentenman comes with juicy caramelized chicken and crunchy colorful vegetables in a rich and creamy ramen broth.
This Whole30 tantanmen ramen is soyfree and gluten free. Perfect for Paleo Asian food lovers. To make the ramen extra healthy and lower in carbs, I use spiralized zucchini noodles and loads of fresh veggies, bean sprouts, and mushrooms! For the broth I use a store-bought version from Kettle and Fire chicken bone broth but homemade chicken bone broth will just be as fabulous!
Don't get fooled by the picture thinking it takes hours to make. When you see the recipe, you'll be surprised how a few humble ingredients can bring so much flavor to your dinner table and satisfy all your cravings. You can find the full recipe in link below.

Hey friends! Happy New Year! The first recipe of 2019 starts with one of my favorite winter comfort food - Japanese Tantanmen Ramen! And since it's January. I made a version that's Whole30 friendly! This ramen recipe is also gluten-free and easy to put together. Let me know what you think in the comment below. One of my goals in this year is to spend more time on making more UA-cam style videos. So thanks to many of you who put up with my IPhone video shots. I appreciate it really ! XOXO !

Thank you! I am only GFDF, Soy Free, Peanut Free. I do not need to be Whole 30. So I will sub GF Noodles.
I do SO SO WISH Ramen restaurants would make soy free ramen options, however. But NONE of them, do! :(

I know it's difficult and that's the reason I started my blog about 3.5-4 years ago to share dishes that I want to eat. :)) Feel free to use any GF noodles. I love rice noodles and if I want to go really low carb...shirataki noodles :)

That's awesome! My favorite broth - Store bought - is from Kettles and Fires. Or otherwise homemade chicken bone broth is great, too...if you have the time. :))

Did you cook the zucchini noodles before putting them in the ramen or did you put them in raw?

Hi this looks great! I asked this question on thrivehive's website no realizing that it was your recipe. How does one store the shiritaki after heating? I am a study who works and goes to school so I rely on meal prepped meals that I typically microwave during the week. Should I store the noodles separate from the broth? If I made a stir-fry would it be ok to store everything together? How many days do you think something like this would last?
