Russ had his revenge game 2 years ago against his former team the Seahawks and the booed him had a look alike doll with noose around Russ's neck. Even the Seahawks player hated him. Even the Broncos players hated him.

A lot of ignorance here. Russ had a high number of clutch drives and q4 magic for those Seahawks teams. Last time I checked, LOB were the ones stopping the other team. Someone had to make points happen. Marshawn wouldn’t have had the consistent running lanes without the threat of a passing game. His first 10 years: 37k yards, 292 tds, 87 int, 101.8 rating. But he had nothing to do with SB win?
@@waygonner yup SB 48 was more about the Broncos imploding than the Seahawks doing anything. Wilson threw 2 TDs late in the game in SB 48. I noticed how you didn't mention anything about his spectacular goal line interception in SB 49. When yes, he should have handed it off to the best running back in the league.

Everyone just throwing Russ away, how can you consider it a fall in Seattle? He threw for 40 TDs and 4k yards lmfaoo… why are we not talking about how Aaron Rodger’s in his last season with Greenbay threw for similar stats and he wasn’t benched. Not to mention he just tore his achilles.
Also Rodger’s always had a weaker division than Russ. Russ went to 2 Superbowls
People keep pointing to 2021 that he fell off. A fractured dislocation injury to a finger in the throwing hand will screw up any QB. Then he even came back to finish the season. First year Hackett is driving blind then Payton comes along and hates him to the point people were talking sabotage. It was wise for the Steelers to pick up Russell Wilson!!! I have been a Steelers fan since 1998 and I would not have been happy if we had Kenny running the show this year. Hopefully the Steelers can get a good second receiver behind Pickens.

I would've been fine with it. The whole thing was getting rid of Matt Canada and putting Pickett in a real, pro-style offense. He got 1 full game with Canada gone and looked great in whooping the Bengals on the road.
I want them to bring Tyler Boyd back home. He would be a perfect WR2

What were the 2 biggest pitfalls of the team last year? QB and MLB. The QB and the QB of the defense. Steelers went 10-7 with lackluster play in the 2 most vital positions. They basically been playing chess without their Queen on both sides of the ball. Then we just got a top 10 player at both of those positions while barely losing any players. We lost Peterson and Johnson. Minimal losses compared to the MASSIVE gains we just got.
When Steelers had their 3 healthy middle linebackers it wasn't a weakness at all.
I totally agree but now we have a major glaring hole at Center that needs to be filled in the draft

I always loved his QB play, just hated watching Seattle games because Russ would put up hella points and their defense would blow it big time. I live in Alaska and they play Seahawks games reliably here so ive technically watched more Seahawks games the past 15 years. I will never pay to watch my Steelers. People should do the same. Pickett has won more than Wilson over the past two seasons. However, Pickett has thrown just 13 touchdowns and averaged 6.3 yards per attempt in 25 NFL games. On the other hand, Wilson had 42 touchdowns while averaging 7.1 yards per pass the past two seasons
There is a very good chance Steelers didn't gain anything. Madonna Rudolph had a better record than both Pickett and Wilson.
