I am posting more than one video a month's SALL, but it is only temporary. These are my older updated videos that I am reposting. My new videos will be only once a month. Soon, I will be running out of old ones. These are just ones that my followers wanted me to keep on my channel for reference. 🤗💕
Thank you for sharing such a nice comment Samira! I am happy to hear that you are finding things to watch and hoping that my lessons are helping you to paint better. Happy Holidays, and thank you for condolences. 🌹🎄
Thank you so much user-gk7ff1pv6h. A son, a husband, a daughter, and a granddaughter have all passed. It has been a tough time. I appreciate your condolences. I hope you find much you like on my channel.
That is awesome Irene! Treat it kindly and use it very gently. I have had some people tell me that some brands shed a lot. That happens with goat hair because it is so fragile. Hope it really helps your blending.
Can’t wait to try this one. God bless! I’m sorry about your son; but happy you did something positive with your grief ❤ Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
Super painting Yovette😍😍 I'm a fan of water mixable oils too. Great for beginners and so easy to clean up especially if you short od space for thinners etc. And yes, as a right hander my left side trees always look a little more natural. Maybe I should change hands for the trees on the right 🤗🤗
LOL, 🤣 I tried to use my right hand once in a while to paint trees, Paul, and it is really something to laugh at. They do not turn out nearly as well as with my left hand. But for someone who may be amadextras, it works really great. Have a great day Paul. 🤗🌺
Yes, you do need to pick up those brushes and get started again Ed. I miss seeing your paintings. But I do understand that all your new kids take up a tremendous amount of time, LOL. 🤣
@min2:11, best advice I've heard to slow down the playing speed and follow along. Clouds are always my favorite part of a painting. Thank you so much, Yovette! This was a lovely painting. You're a very accomplished teacher and artist. I'm really looking forward to following along with you this new year. May God bless you!
Oh my gosh, I really love painting clouds too M.U. G. There is no end the what you can put in the sky! Thank you so much for the lovely compoment! 🤗 Blessing to you!
My daughter Ayesha watches your video almost regularly. Thanks to you for teaching so kindly and patiently. She hears only when people speak with love. And I'm sorry about your son. Take care. Much love ❤❤❤
Ayesha is such a sweet and talented girl Azmi. I enjoy corresponding with her. She is really growing in her art abilities. I am happy she is learning from me. Thank you for your concloences. We all go through these losses of a loved one at some time or another. God is always present and watching over us. Thank you for your note. 💕🤗💐
Hi Yovette! Steve definitely had his dad's touch. Yes, those water-mixable oils are fantastic. Your landscape came out beautifully. I love your thick palette knife texture in contrast with your delicate foliage in your mountains, trees and bushes, and your smooth water. Beautiful use of hard and soft edges, and thick paint in contrast with your inky smooth flowing paint. The red did spice things up!! Take care Yovette and have a wonderful week.
At times I think Steve was even a little better than his dad. He was fast and got right to the point. He sure did not mess around. Thank you for the lovely critique. Most people would not even notice such details. You really have an eye for it. Thank you dear.
Hi Gram! Happy New Year!! This is so absolutely beautiful as always. Your teaching skills are amazing ,and I learn something every time I watch you. You certainly are a treasure. Xoxo
Aw, happy new year to you too dear and thank you. It's going to be a better year than last year, I can just feel it. Wishing you and your family many blessing. Big hugs. Gram 💕🤗🙏
Hi Yvette, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss, like you, I lost my adult daughter 3 years ago, and I needed a healthy distraction after the first year, so I picked up painting and it helped so much. Thank you for inspiring me with your soft voice and lovely art
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that Deanie. My condolences to you and your family. I also lost a daughter a year ago Christmas, and my husband, two years ago, lots of death in the family. So I really do relate with how you are feeling. It's a very sad time. You will love this new hobby. It does take up a lot of hours and is a very good pastime. 🌹🤗💕 Blessing 🙏
@@PaintingWithYovette I also lost my daughter 4 days after Christmas and my late husband 7 years ago. Again, so sorry for your loss, painting is my therapy . Please keep inspiring us with your art. Take care and keep looking up
Another great painting! Santa dropped off a set of oil mix oils (not ales!) and will try this painting! This lesson is most interesting bc you didn’t like the tree on the right and you had a “fix” for it! If that happened to me, I might’ve pitched the board or scraped over it and painted something else, using the board as a “toned board”! Your experience made the painting work! Thanks again! Have a wonderful day! 37:45
Oh gosh Karl, I hated that tree on the right, and I really considered scraping it, but decided to cover it instead. I really should stick to the brushes that I know do a good job. I am happy you liked this painting and will try it in the future. Blessings, 🤗
Actually, Irene, I am painting on a tabletop. And my canvas is being held down just with that blue painter's tape. There is no easel. This seems to work very well for me, for my videos.
Hi Irene. A chip brush is a bristle brush. And I clean it with soap and water, just like I do my other brushes. As a matter of fact, I clean all of my brushes, no matter what kind they are, with soap and water. Natural synthetic or bristle. Hope that helps dear.
@@PaintingWithYovette We just got back from buying a chip brush from Walmart and I’m now continuing painting Lazy River, just getting to the tree 🌲 you don’t like. Lol
@@irenemorrison2728 No, I did not like that tree at all. 😓 The birch in front of it was much better. Covered it pretty well. If you have a Harbor Freight in your area, they have the best price, 59 cents each. Or buying in bulk on Amazon has good prices too.
Well, I’m done. After doing research and buying a Winston Newton Artisan synthetic hog fan, it just wouldn’t work. I ended up using a (you are gonna love this…) filbert brush for the trees. What brand fan do you use? By the way, your tutorial was wonderful and my painting turned out great 👍🏽 even the birds !!!
@@irenemorrison2728 It thrills me to hear you are happy with you painting Irene! So happy for you. It is a fun painting to do. The filbert I use is a Ross and it is pretty old so it makes great trees. I find a lot of brushes that are old and well used give better results sometimes. 🤗
@@lumateo4534 A lot of painters start out by teaching themselves. It is a very good say to learn Lu. I don't give private lessons any longer, I just teach on UA-cam. May I suggest that you start following my videos. Pick one painting that you really like, and go really slow, and paint along with me. I teach pretty detailed, and I don't go very fast. I think after painting with me a few times, it will help you advance. If that does not work, there are a lot of teachers on UA-cam that maybe could help you further. Is that workable?
