    I swear you have a way of drawing out the best qualities of pedals because I had 0% interest in this pedal until you dropped your video. I had seen at least a dozen other demos with this pedal before now too. You really are wonderful at playing and dialing in some lovely tones sir. That's why you're my favorite lol

      Fully agree with this! Always super thoughtful approach from this channel. Really stands out vs just slapping the effect on typical guitar BS. Always love how @thepedalzone play to the effect.

    this is awesome sounding. As much as i love Fender style spring and plate reverb, it doesn’t always work for shoegaze stuff, whereas this clearly does. And i’m all for it.

      Happy to hear you dig it! This thing will most definitely shoegaze and dream-pop. Will 100% run it through some fuzz once I get around to doing a more in-depth demo on this beautiful pedal.

    They are really good at obne to design reverbs with a very dark and dramatic character

    Just lovely my friend, beautifully delicate and thoughtful playing and a sublime showcase to this exceptional pedal. I love the simplicity of this new range from obne, they are just killing it right now.

    Best wishes from the UK, Stefan. I thought I would write a note to say thank you for the videos, and for the effort you put into making them. I was away from guitar playing while looking after my Mum during her cancer treatment (she got through in the end, happily!), and channels like yours were a nice distraction at that time, and gave me ideas for pedals and a new guitar style to learn now I am coming back to the hobby: to try to learn ambient guitar. You always make the pedals sound great with the way you choose the mix of sounds from them. Also the scary tone Halloween videos showed good combinations of pedals. At some point before Christmas I will get an analog delay, maybe Vapor Trail or Echo Shifter, and one out of Afterneath, Mercury 7, Cloudburst or one of the Lichtlaerm pedals to get me started. Thanks again. Look after yourself, and happy playing.

      Gosh! Thank you so much for this incredibly sweet comment. 1) I'm so happy to hear your Mum is doing better. Can't imagine how scary that must have been for you all. 2) I'm beyond humbled and honored to hear that my videos where able to create moments of calm when you were facing that emotional storm. 3) So good to hear you're getting back into playing guitar. Music and creativity is definitely what helps me retain a feeling of zen in a world and life that can be extremely overwhelming at times. The pedals you have your eye on all sound super solid to me. But you're always welcome to reach out if you want to talk more in-depth about the options. Wishing you and your family all the best!

    Only thing these pedals are missing is an expression Jack so you can control the time with a foot pedal.

    I will never understand obviously digital pedals that don't bother with stereo in/out. Earthquaker just did the same thing with their new reverb

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  10 місяців тому +1

      Majority of musicians play in mono. Making a true stereo pedal jacks up the manufacturing prices and hence jacks up prices for the consumer, which can heavily affect potential sales. There's a lot of considerations that go into making a pedal.

    • @Wagoo
      @Wagoo 10 місяців тому

      It also affects potential sales in the other direction, since I'm never going to buy a digital reverb that restricts the algorithm to a mono soundscape. With analogue pedals it's understandable, as you basically need to double the whole circuit to make it happen. But it doesn't cost that much extra on the BOM to design digital pedals for stereo
      And yeah I know OBNE and Earthquaker are more boutique companies.. but in comparison to it being normal on pretty low priced things like the Digitec Polara.. Zoom MS-70CDR etc etc..

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  10 місяців тому

      Of course it affects sales the other way as well. Every action has a reaction, and product development is in general a long series of compromises in order to find the perfect balance between cost and return on investment. I’m just saying that there’s always a thought behind doing something and not doing something when it comes to product development. I recommend you reach out to OBNE and hear their thoughts behind the development of this pedal series. Really good people and I’m sure they would happily get nerdy with ya. Have a good day, man 😊👌

    • @Wagoo
      @Wagoo 10 місяців тому

      In an ideal world they'd do a bit more expensive version with stereo too.. and let's have an expression pedal input jack for that "clock" fader.. as it looks like it'd be a fun performance control 😋Likewise, cheers 🍻
