"They need a B-sides album!" They already have 2 B-side albums. I agree that they need another one because they have many great B-sides, but you guys are saying it as if they have never released a B-side album before, which they have.

this song sounds like an interesting experiment.. though my musical knowledge is somehow limited, I feel it's a mix of at least 3 or 4 different songs I've heard before. doesn't have the typical RHCP sound. at all. but it's still good. oh, and the picture.. another mix of various styles. how young they should've been there.. taken before the Californication era, at least.

B- side means it's a song the band liked, but not enough to put on the album so they just randomly release it. Basically it's good enough, but not good enough.
this is nothing the peppers style. but thats what makes them the red hot chili peppers. i dont really care that this didnt make the album but thats just me. i dont know how anthony hit that first "whatever we want" btw.

OMG can't be 14 years ago now!? Still one of the best B-sides alongside Body of Water. Time flies when listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers...
It seems like you are since your choosing between to completely different genres..look you just got to keep an open mind I love classic rock as well don't get me wrong but that doesn't stop me from listening to other genres or stop me from saying other bands are good even when it's not my type of genre.

I would have to say "Dani California" is the only song I don't like off that album...don't know why it irks me so...
I'll be honest, it doesn't even sound like the Chili's to me! I like Readymade and this to me, is not as good.

@guanpinpin not sure what it mean now but back when records were what people litened too they would have music on both sides of the record. one side would be the a side, the side with the "main songs" if you get my meaning and the b side that would have promotional songs and songs that didnt make it on the a side.
It reminds me a little bit of early Kiss and The Stooges.

i know this is a few months later, but on vinyl records their was an A-side and a B-side. Now they release songs that didnt make the album and call the B-sides

in older records, the songs would be recorded on the right side up (or a-side), and other songs sometimes where on the other side (b-side)

What's crazy is I think both this song and 'Million' Miles of Water' are better songs than 'Dani California'.

@ncblackbelt Agreed, but Storm in a Teacup was actually one of my favourite songs from Stadium Arcadium personally. Mind you, half that album are 'one of my favourite songs.'
Chilli peppers can play any style n still sound amazing as u can hear from this song, if u like this more heavyrock stlye check out the song Black cross live from hyde park.
