Thanks for doing this, I saw that guy's comment asking for this on the last video. I had a question as well, the potassium aluminate leftover from the reaction. Is it safe to dispose of normally? Can I pour it down the drain or should I save the reactants

MIT just discovered if you add Gallium to the mix it allows the H2O to easily bypass the Al Oxide at room temperature and produce H2. Id love to see you do this and maybe show how you build your hydrogen fuel cell stacks.

Yes I know for this. I search for some cheap Gallium already.

Excelente...

I think you are on to something great.just drive up to the fuel station and fill up with aluminum? Do you have to replace the electrolyte each time?

Now do the same with an aluminium-air battery.

You might get longer runtime with pressure regulation before the pem cell? This is an interesting proof of concept, from what I've read online, it's recommended to have filters/scrubber etc on input as impurities can damage cell, small scale, the way you are testing, probably not an issue. Being able to DIY your own pem stack, that would be awesome, maybe you have something like this printing 🎉

Reducing the flow of the hydrogen will higher the runtime. Here I use activated carbon felt as a filter. Maybe some bubbler will also be good.

Interesting. Get a bigger container and throw an aluminium drinks can in.
