My friend bought a CRV hybrid for 44K at the end of last year it’s worth 32K now. I bought my Mercedes GLC for 41K at the end of last year it’s worth 40K now. Most people that buy Hondas and Toyotas dont know anything abt cars tbh and thats just how middle class consumers mindset works unfortunately.
$43k for an XSE hybrid is what he’s showing. For $32k you can get a brand new XLE, no leather but you don’t want to endure that in the American summer heat.

And it's expensive to replace and you can only do it through the dealership. I rather just avoid it completely. The key ignition never fails. I also want fabric seats bc they won't tear and rip like the synthetic leather. I only care about reliability and it lasting as long as possible. I am going to buy the rav4 LE maybe in a few years

So all these people saying that they will ride their Toyota's for 20 years are nuts. Technology takes quantitative leap like every 3-4 years. Compare a 2000s car with that from 2020s, and the improvements in specs are not even remotely comparable. Literally uncomparable. Even the crappiest cars of the crappiest brand from the 2020s have specs resoundingly superior to that of the best selling cars from the 2000s and even the 2010s. A properly maintained and clean Toyota still will likely have the highest resale value amongst used cars, after 10 years, but people claiming that they will ride the same car after 15-20 years are nuts.
I'd probably buy an older model. Some of these things that are supposed to be better are not what I'd consider better. Saving $3 more per week means little when repair bills are three times as high.
In the UK these things are not worth much at all…. We are obsessed with BMW Audi and Mercedes! Crazy really because Toyotas are far better but hasn’t seemed to catch on here
I was always a Toyota fan, cause of their Innova & Fortuner in India. But I thought if I earn a decent money I'll buy a german car. But I think Nothing beats a classic simple not too technological car. Especialy a Corolla Altis, Camry(2014, petrol), and Fortuner, and Rav4, 4Runner, and Highlander in foreign countries
Hybrid only saves you about 25% in fuel savings but you pay to get a new hybrid is extraordinary price If you are only buying to save on fuel big mistake buy a non hybrid for less money

@@ululukululu450 dealer msrp was around low $43k. So got it down about to $40k ish. Stacked the 5-6k of taxes etc. talk to 5 dealerships. The one I bought from was actually going to be the least likely one but I called back for a last chance and they gave me the best deal. Very happy with the strategy and deal done.

Radio reception is really bad. i can make you a big list ...has a ton of problems...stability compared with the previous model...is still a big problem....do not promote rav4 ... doesn't deserve anymore....a, by the way.... you can scratch it very easily compared with.....lets say Trabant...

I just bought a Toyota Venza. It's a more luxury, sophisticated version, with the same drive train. It doesn't have the cargo space, if you need that. You can get heated and cooled seats in the back seats on the Rav4.
This and the Camry basically pay Toyota’s bills. The resale value and demands are so crazy high that they cannot supply enough.
