Anyone know how the looper and drummer features in the Sonicake MatriBox2 compare to the Donner Arena 2000? The Donner offers no count-off feature when using the drummer -- in fact, the drummer and looper seem totally isolated -- as in, the drummer does not even stay in sync with the looper.

Could you further comment on that? I have a Valeton GP 100 with the same issue, looper & sinc are not in sync
D chorus is nice what a nice piece of gear man!!!! Wow. Love the growth of the budget sets coming out lately!!!! Still using me 80. Hahah. Only gripe is lacking sub par amp cab or preamps. They are decent but boss fixed that in the Gt1 which i miss that one. Hahah
👍👍Hi Derek, thanks for another excellent, concise and practical demo of what appears to be a very well spec'd multi fx and at sub £200 in the UK very good value too, which is just as well as it has some stiff competition in it's price range. I like Sonicake gear and have a couple of their' pedals and if they are anything to go by, the MATRIBOX will be well thought out and practical and on the evidence of your' demo, pack a lot of variation in the amp & fx selections. Good choice of drum patterns too. 😉
This is a magnificent multieffect ! I used with my analog pedals and the chorus, delays and Noise gate, DO THE HARM
Nobody talks about the midi functions. What is the purpose in this unit?
You can use the midi in and out for a midi device to change the patches and functionality of the unit automatically in a gigging situation

Is there any way to fix it?

Hey Gareth! Thanks as always for the great comment! Hope all is well in wonderful Blighty!
The drum kit sounds plasticy midi like. This good for bedroom guitarists.
Great review and very nice tones!
Thank you so much!
