    I like your thumbnail! And my aunt has that phone stand haha.
    I listen to your workflow while doing my own work with writing ISPs for intellectually disabled adults and quarterly reviews for them. Have you ever heard of body doubling for people with ADHD? It basically is a technique where working alongside someone else helps keep you on track and helps you hold your focus. That's what I do! I put your videos on and do my work alongside you, and our jobs are just similar enough on the medical track for it to keep my brain engaged with workflow but it's not so close that I get distracted by the things you are saying because I'm working with mental health and you're working with OBGYN.
    Anyways, hi from a new sub. I watch your videos in a very weird way I would say.

      Thank you! I have not heard of that before but I do get quite a few comments of people watching/listening to me while they work from home too. I guess it brings back the “working in office” feel. I’m happy to hear it works for you too! 🫶🏾

      @@ShamyraC a bit of accountability as well! Even though you aren't logically and realistically here I behave as if I have somebody beside me and perform better as a habit

      @@ShamyraCI know there's an app for body doubling made for ADHD folks made by tiktoker/UA-cam duo ADHD Love. So if you ever go down a UA-cam channel productivity rabbit hole 🫶🏻 I would say body doubling could be an easy niche! As you are already fairly close because of recording with a relaxed voice, work commentary and real-time problem solving that might be an interesting and easy pivot if you ever need one

    Happy birthday!!!, love your videos, how many pages or cases do you code a day or a hour?

    • @ShamyraC
      @ShamyraC  Місяць тому +1

      Thank you! It depends on what I’m coding. My quota is to code 20 charges per hour.

    Hey! I just realized you dnt use an encoder on your videos. So you always code from your book? I see and hear all the time about how companies have the codes books as an “ebook to use. Do you prefer to code from the book?

    • @ShamyraC
      @ShamyraC  Місяць тому +1

      Hey hey! I do have an encoder that I use. I showed it in the video when I mentioned checking a code on Select Coder. That’s the encoder software we use other than our books. 😊

    How many charts do you have to code per hour/ in a day? Great video!

    • @ShamyraC
      @ShamyraC  4 дні тому

      We don’t go by charts. Our quota goes by charge lines. Ex. 58300 and J7298 for an IUD insertion even though I’m reading 1 note/case this counts as 2 charges. My quota is 20 charges per hour. Hope that makes sense!
