Pamela Voorhees even though she died in the first film reminisce of her seen in the rest of the Friday 13th series. The character of Tommy Jarvis is introduced in Friday the 13th the final chapter as kid & 2 more more films is shown as adult. I guess where Im going with this, is that Friday 13th does have a plot & sub plots. Unlike most horror movies after the first movie goes off to unrelated story lines. Friday the 13th has a continuing story line.
I think Friday 13th & the whole franchise is underrated. It doesn't get the Crédit it deserves. The Friday 13th series is my favorite. From the first film to Jason X. has a plot. Jason drowns cause the counselors aren't paying attention. & each movie explains why Jason Voorhees is the way he is. Friday the 13Th is & will always will be one of my favorite horror movies.
