Forgive me, Flora, but Anna Moffo was not only a grand musician with a beautiful voice, but she was also a wonderful stylist and interpreter of many kinds of music. And an excellent actress. Combine all these talents and there you had someone who could 'fit' so many characters well--not vice versa. I wish more music fans were aware of Moffo's great range of abilities!
