Rohrer & Klingner Inks are excellent. If youndonsketching, try their "sketch & ink" line, its waterproof, fountain pen safe 🖋️ and comes in 6-8 colours. I ❤ your lazy Susan idea. I have one that Inak notnusing, sonits coming to my desk now. Thanks!
My favorites are always going to be Aquarius watercolors. They're from Poland, so I'm using them mainly because I'm a "product patriot" 😂 they're a-maz-ing
@@sketchingtheworldwithkat oh you definitely should! If you happen to be in the art store, ask cashier about swatches, they're going to handle you irl plaints on the huge piece of paper, you can easily choose which one you like most thanks to this 😁
Love your sketchbooks. I don’t mind that buckling that happens. I love the Jackson’s own cheap sketchbooks and being in UK it’s worth getting. The paper quality is surprisingly good. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year Kat. Hope you have some nice things lined up
I normally don't mind the buckling but I think because I was trying to get my straight lines really straight, I got frustrated. But the Strathmore sketchbooks are heaps cheaper than the Fabriano ones so it's all good :)
I inlove with my color pencils and neoncolor 2 this year. And also my watercolor from Daniel Smith. Love it. But also my new fountain pen twsbi eco. A gift…writes like the moon. 🎉🎉 you got also lovely materials ❤
I've used watercolors much more this year than any other year, so that's probably what I'd say is my favorite art supply for 2024. I hope you have a good Christmas break! I loved seeing what art supplies you've been using for 2024
Postage in Australia is insane. It’s Australia Post problem not Jackson’s. I had an order come from Jackson’s UK and postage was cheaper than within Australia
I've had the same -- cheaper to get things from the UK than Australia, and yeah Auspost is crazy. But I think Jackson's have changed things, like their minimum postage has risen or something. Before, if I was getting a few little, light things I'm sure it was about $5 but now it's never under $10.
I also love watching these videos; year's favorites.
But also I like watching buying regrets! They could be very eye opening!
I love the regrets videos too.

I've got one of the sketch & ink inks but haven't used it much. Love their packaging on all their inks.
I love these year in review vids, I find them fascinating ☺
Glad you like them!

I'm hoping to get to poland next year. I'll have to check them out.

I have never seen liquid gouache before! Would love a demo to see how you use them…. I wonder how they differ from regular and or acrylic gouache? 🖌
Thanks. I did some swatching in this video -- ua-cam.com/video/OarkCuz_wvE/v-deo.html but I should do a full painting with it :)

Wonderful! Daniel Smith colours are great
@sketchingtheworldwithkat yes indeed. Happy with it.

Watercolours are so much fun to use. Have a great Christmas.

@ yes because Jackson's now has an Australian branch and postage within Australia has a minimum charge.
At 12.25 you put some blue onto paper with a brush, saying you liked it, but you didn't say what that blue WAS, can you elucidate please?
The blue is one of the Rohrer & Klingner inks that I'd just shown.
@sketchingtheworldwithkat yes, I thought it probably was but didn't it have a name on the bottle? Or is that the ONLY blue they have?
