Watching your videos of late-Cardiacs stuff, focusing on one instrument (that's usually further down in the mix too), has helped me appreciate Guns-era stuff more. The complexity that's in just this one part of the song is so understated in the whole! It's all so in-depth and arranged with great care. Love it. Do another. Do another ten.
The songwriting is absolutely bonkers, there's always something new to obsess over! I've got Flap Off and Bell Stinks+Clinks lined up next, plus a couple oldies too. Just struggling with recording anxiety every time I try to film them.:p
if you ask me (you didn't) tim was at one of his multiple peaks during '99. guns and pony are absolute masterpieces of composition and production, both on frequent repeat for me, and even the stuff he produced/influenced like i dig your voodoo and memphis in texas bleed that same energy. but either way tim was still a god at his craft haha.
You beautiful bastard, that was lovely! Jim's bass lines are always so much fun!
absolutely outrageous bassline, well done
Brilliant!

@@Lompebroed all are great choices, I know from experience that clinks+stinks are a whirlwind but that's Jonny for you 🤪

Loved it 😍
I was going to try and attempt this but having watched and heard what a brilliant job you've done of it you've kinda ruined for me! So thanks!
Haha, sorry and thank you! Believe me when I say I know the feeling.
Nice bass playing 👍
Njüdligt
killer! well done
Fantastic, always wondered if this was either Tim, Jon or Jim... Either way, excellently played!
Thank you! I have a small feeling it's a Jon line but I honestly have no idea.:p
Awesome!
Wow, that was incredible!
Bravissimo... This also one of my fave Cardiacs tunes, must've been a great work to find all the parts :)
