Mr Ginsberg quite frankly you are a hero to the disabled community. I can't thank you enough for your wise, clear and consice information to help those in need. It is a travesty what our government does to crush our hopes. You are a tower of strength and you have no idea how much help you are, makes me cry ,yes I'm not afraid to admit it. People ,please hire Mr. GINSBERG he is worth it and he CARES!. I am not a client of his. I won my case after five years with another firm. I am in now way getting compennstated. I just know a good attorney when I see one.
(Mid-2023) I'm new in this terrifying process on behalf of my disabled adult son, but you, Jonathan, are the very best. Not only knowledgeable, professional and clear, but unmistakably a decent, honest, caring human being. Maybe we'll never meet, Jonathan, but you're making a difference in peoples' lives.
I have created my own playlist of your videos all in an effort to prepare for an upcoming hearing for my brother. He has been on disability since he was 10 years old after being on a bicycle and was hit by a drunk driver. He suffered a TBI (which from your videos I've learned is one of the SSD listed items - 11.18). All of the symptoms associated with his TBI are things causing him, still after 33 years, to be unable to work, yes, even a basic - entry level job. Thank you for being open with your knowledge, sharing it and helping others. I just found out a week ago that our hearing is August 31 so I'm scrambling to put everything together. Another one of your videos also mentioned non-traditional types of evidence. Specifically the 15 minute consultative visit with a doctor that does not know my brother nor has he ever seen him. You've really helped me a lot. I feel confident in being able to attend the hearing and it is solely because of your help without you even knowing. Thank you, sincerely.
I have heard of people getting approved without having to go to a hearing. I would really like to know how that can be done. Maybe you can do a video on that sometime?...Thank you for your videos they are very informative 🙂
You can win without a hearing if you have overwhelming medical evidence that shows you are either unemployable because you miss too much work or you meet the listing grid rules that will show you are disabled. Get your doctors to fill out the residual functional capacity forms. I had my primary doctor , my podiatrist and my psychiatrist all fill out those forms. Those RFC forms are crucial, especially if you can get your specialists to do them. The judge will have not choice but to approve you. Good luck to you. I had my hearing cancelled by the judge and she approved me with a fully favorable decision without a hearing. Hang tough and watch these videos. Mr Ginsberg is a pro. He knows what to do to help you win your cases. I'm praying for you. You arent alone.
I currently have a case pending, I was injured on the job 11 years ago and have been unable to work since then. I have been getting treatment for the last 8 years and visit the doctor every 2 months. They have me on 4 different medications including a narcotic for pain. My diagnosis was spinal stenosis, root nerve compression and nephropathy in both legs. I just went 3 weeks ago for a consultative appointment. The doctor only really talked to me and didn't do any real tests since she thought it would cause me to much discomfort. At this point I am just waiting to hear back from the SSA on whether I get approved or not. I am hopeful, but keep hearing all these stories about how hard it is to be approved. :(
I just want to say that i was battling a ssd case for 21/2 years won my case on a bench decision in November of 2017 im in Cincinnati and i tell you watching your videos and of course i had a great attorney 😊 helped me so much at hearing level thanks for your help so much! ❤
Some of the CDRs are done randomly. RIght now very, very few people voluntarily discontinue benefits and SSA believes that a certain percentage of approved claimants (even those approved under a listing argument) may have experienced medical improvement.
I have a pending hearing for later this year, but I wonder why I wasn't approved through the adjudicator because I sustained an injury that is specifically listed. I sustained a fractured humorous head of the most severe order along with nerve damage. This occurred two years ago. I've been through two surgeries but haven't been able to recover most of my mobility and still experience chronic pain and cannot get a normal night's rest. I have been referred to a pain specialist because there are no more surgeries that can help. I still have to take narcotic pain meds so I can still minimally function through a day. I'm confused as to why I wasn't approved early in the process.
My Husband has mild Right sided (CP) Cerebral Palsy( Strokes and Cerebral Palsy are almost always mistaken for the opposite only difference is one being " CP" is from birth and a Stroke is not )and we were wondering if you could make a viedo where you include stoke and or CP my husband's name is Brian Anderson he also use to work at the VA Hospital while being Disabled he was able to get the job through a program his title was Dietary Worker part time and now he is currently on SSDI since 2004 sadly he had take early medical retirement do to his health
What if you feel as if you do not need your disability benefits anymore and want to cancel them? Would you get in trouble for doing that or would owe them the money they paid you ?
You can report to SSD that you are no longer disabled. However I would suggest that you take advantage of the trial work period program to see if you really do have the capacity to return to work.
I suffered a gunshot wound that required a "ankle arthrodesis" to repair the damage to the joint. This happened 13 years ago. I see a listing (1.03) that speaks of this but requires that ambulation never was restored from date of onset. Does date of onset mean date of surgery or date that I started having difficulty ambulating. I guess what I'm asking is can I still meet the Listing for 1.02 or 1.03 giving that this happened 13 yrs ago. Also, I use a cane but not a walker or two crutches, is this a necessity for the llisting? Thanks Mr. Ginsberg for any insight on the matter
Hi how you doing I have congestive heart failure chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure I was wondering do I qualify for Social Security I was wondering do I qualify for Social Security?
Would carpal tunnel syndrome and radicopathy neurological athorpy be considered as multiple conidtions??? Ty. This is for my neck area and my lumbar region
My 9 year old met 2 listings notated as severve, but was indicated as "less than marked" in the 6 domains. Was denied. I wish I would have found your videos when I first started this process.
I Have a question, I was just approved two days ago. without a hearing. I took your advice and followed your tips. it helped me a great deal. it only took 14 months to win. My question is I completed my appl. in April of 2017, it was denied and I file a appeal in May before the time ran out online. and i didn't hear from them after 4 months i called and they couldn't find my paperwork after a few weeks i call a few more times and they did find my paperwork and it sat on the social worker's desk for another month and i kept checking online at Social Security my account and they deleted my application info from my account so i called them they put it back up still show when i started my application in April of 2017 but now they approved my appl. they said that it started in like Oct. or Nov. and i don't get paid for the first 5 months so my starting date will be April 2018. So can they do that I did everything by the book, and I was counting on that back pay. I been using my credit cards to survive feeling I would be able to pay it off once I got Approved. I could use your advice. Thank you for all your advice.
I had a hearing last week and the vocational expert said no job's and the hypothetical question was is there any job's transferrable she said yes . I have carpal tunnel the left hand had the release, lower back pain. I have 2 bulging and a herniated 4,5,s1 with sciatica in the right leg

If you meet the listing why do you have a CDR in 5 to 7 years?
Some of the CDRs are done randomly. RIght now very, very few people voluntarily discontinue benefits and SSA believes that a certain percentage of approved claimants (even those approved under a listing argument) may have experienced medical improvement.

Thank You soo much Mr. Johnathen. I had my 2nd hearing yesterday and I was listed at 1.04 but they need a definant date of becoming disabeled.
SSA uses form "ssa-2506-bk psychiatric review technique", is there a equivalent form that applicants can get their private doctors fill out?

What if I'm dyslexic and really have a hard time reading ?
That alone is most likely not going to be enough to disable you from all jobs as there are many jobs that don't require reading.
