    Chuck just needs to write a book. Easily a million copies sold. It could be just him rambling for 800 pages; I would buy it.

    More “Pressburg Poignant Points” is always a good thing. I eat up everything he puts out (as the civilian I am) and it never gets boring or old or repetitive. That man has an awesome wealth of knowledge. Glad you guys had him on!!

      Great guy to talk to. He heavily influenced the CQB package we do at alliance. We talked with him for over 3 hours on the full show.

    Chuck articulates himself so much better than I can, trying to get the same message out there....I try to tell strictly competition guys that all the time but it always poops out of my mouth wrong....A good video to watch is the 2016 BLM protestor Micah Johnson (who was a combat veteran) completely out class a group of police officers even with 4 to 1 odds and having him surrounded. Theres no amount of quick draw times and speed shooting that would've saved these gentlemen unfortunately...Theres so much to consider and take in and process during a moment like that that theres no time or place for you competition habits to show themselves..Highly recommend watching that video and see what just a regular joe soldier with combat experience can do against 4 other men and all while having him surrounded...Its not a jab at comp guys at all, just trying to bring awareness of peoples mindset of thinking your good for a fight if you compete

      Agree with you completely, just have to point out that Micah Xavier Johnson was not affiliated with the BLM movement, though he was certainly enamored of several black nationalist groups such as the Nation of Islam and was a member of the New Black Panther Party for several months but had been kicked out several years previously.

    Switchers and timers is verbage directly from Sayoc Kali
    I've personally taken Chuck's no fail pistol course and it is a game changer.

      What is switchers and timers?

    • @lightweight1365
      @lightweight1365 2 роки тому +2

      @@rossg4788 a switch is central nervous system incapacitation hit, or a hit to a nerv bundle. Timers are leaks such as hits to the heart of arteries.

    Chuck is an excellent resource, and I can't agree more with his assessment on the role of the carrier. I think it will help change some perspectives to hear it from a bona fide been-there-done-that kind of dude that in many cases, you can't help stop a situation, but you can at least do what you can to get others to safety.
    Mission dictates gear, and circumstances dictate your response.

    Timers and switches is a Sayoc Kali formula that was around long before Dark Angel Medical. KD4 and Tom Kier have been talking about it since 2006.

    Everyone dtops the ball at one time or another after doing something for so long and apparently even when your life us on the line. That goes for driving or dangerous jobs as well. We get to comfortable and allow ourselves to "Drop the ball" and your lucky if you can get back in to compliance without paying a price.

    Damn! My first time hearing Mr. Pressburg, practically impressive! Carry the gun for your threat level that day, no kidding! I live in the sticks, NEVER go to the mall, go to the city only for VA. Does it make sense for me to carry a 19 and ,3 reloads every day? Not really, but I sure get shit for saying a .357 4 inch or worse yet a single action suits my day to day better.

  • @JustDefense
