#5 is insane. It actually blows my mind that the commentators can read the situations like that so accurately and put them into words all while sounding so damn hyped up.
I really don’t see the clutch in a lot of these plays, at least not by the single person they label as having clutched it. Like on Hanamura Bdosin took down their tank line essentially by himself, and in the Anubis clip Viol2t got kills from a grav by Sinatraa (very unlikely he’d have gotten them by himself). I just believe in giving credit where credit’s due, and it belongs to the whole team a lot
You realize that it's the contesting and a technical level of skill that goes into a lot of this, right? Just because a massive ult doesnt come into play or an OWL player doesnt kill three people at a time, doesnt mean its not a clutch play. This game is about teamwork, and if a teams push is done well and performed in a smart way, its worthy of ending up on here. You guys are stupid
Karley Vantas you do realize that that’s exactly what I said, that teamwork is what was getting them through these plays? And I’m not devaluing the teamwork; quite the opposite, I’m saying to give credit to the teamwork involved, not a single player
Basically, it's when the teamfight is pretty much lost for you then one people manages to actually win it. Let's say that you're 2v5 after a teamfight, trying to run away from the enemy team, then your Genji uses his blade and kills 4 people on the red team. (which of course never happens because, you know... Genji players... jk jk) That's a clutch.
BeeZart a good example of a clutch was that one philly match against boston where eqo and carpe were the only two left alive and losing point but they both somehow beat boston when they should have lost. Thats a clutch turning a situation u should lose to a win
The bomb was fissure feeding, though I agree, there were way better fragments including grav eats. All of Seoul clutching against Paris against Chengdu is probably my favourite
Joris B i think they are talking about the one in volskaya first point (meko eats fleta’s grav) I was expecting seoul’s clutch on paris to be featured as well!
A lot of people hated goats meta, but I personally found it exciting and fun to watch. It was fun watching how pros managed their ult economy and played like multiple brains in one body.
He would of blocked it regardless actually. Despite his shield looking as if it was too high the bottom tip of his barrier was perfect to block it. But you are right the bubbles saved them rather than the shield as we can see it the shield didn't break . But the main part of the play is the fact that he shattered Sado which was really a big brain more actually. Sorry for the long comment and errors in it.
I feel like the first clip was an insane clutch, stopping the charge and blocking divas bomb, and the rest wasn’t really clutching, but long overtime stalls
I don't think he even blocked the DVA bomb, the zarya bubbles did. If you pause, players are in LOS of the bomb under the shield and the bubbles pop when it explodes. See at 1:10
My favorite clutch was on Gibraltar when SBB touched the cart at the very last second for OT while the opposing McCree (I forget which team) used his High Noon as a zoning ult/way to boast that the round was over, which allowed NYXL to push to the end and gain full points for the round.
I know this may seem like nit picking. But putting the Overwatch POTG music over and Overtime clip breaks the immersion. Not every clip needs background music especially if its music from the games OST. I'll assume the editors purpose of it was to align into the outro of the video. But other than that Great video as always.
That wasn't clutch lmao, clutch doesn't mean a good play, it means coming back from a lost fight out of nowhere all of a sudden. That round SFS dominated that round
I miss the old days when GOATS wasn’t a meta. I miss the damage players. I wonder if ryujehong is still active. I am in love with brigitte but i literally hate her GOATS meta
Man when games get messy and is literally a Mud fight with ppl just trickling for one last fight for the win. Thats the stuff I love to see in OWL. Sure a nice clean engagement is great for intricate learning and is something to be proud of. But not near as entertaining to watch.
Lol, when Goats was a thing, the dps players played Zarya and Brig. Nenne plays hitscan dps mainly, he just played Zarya in goats which was basically the dps in goats
Wow, you guys hate the Titans. Did you forget the fastest ever Rialto time? Did you forget completing two points of KR in OT because Bumper SMS and Jjanu got Bumper up to his second shatter in 15 seconds and Jjanu got the bomv 4k? Most of these weren't even clutches. It's just a single elongated clip of someone playing an off meta hero in OT and getting a few cleanup assists.
the music you put over the last clip was very jarring: that music isn't to be used for a clutch fight, it's to be used for a victory like it currently is. You should have used the default clutch music that happens when the point is nearing 99%.
Akson needs to be more clear that season 2 means this year? All of these plays were from this passed weekend and so I think the title needs a change. People are bringing up plays from last year
jjonak lives and kills titans
During that clip I was so confused wheb jjonak died
Uber popping off over and over (hope he doesn’t leave OWL)
thadex actually

The Gladiators 2v5 VS Spark clutch on Rialto deserved to be there

Notice how in a vacuum, from a spectator perspective, GOATs plays look way more entertaining to the casual viewer than Orisa sigma
Mr. Wave Rider that’s actually so true I wish goats was played here rather than orisa sigma
Yeah it does look entertaining but i fucking hate goats with a passion
There was a better Profit clutch on Tracer against Shanghai on Hanumura than that one...
Yeah very weird one from Akshon, should've shown the one with 3 pick from profit
true
Is shanghai good yet?
Yes
@@noobouis_2111 They are good, they took a stage playoff and have a strong dps lineup for next season, See Plat Chat video about them.

Grav doesnt mean free kills at pro level. Violet absolutely deserves a shoutout on that one.
@Rekcha absolutely agreed!
Now that hero bans are going to be a thing, season 3 will bring plenty of juicy clutches.
You realize that it's the contesting and a technical level of skill that goes into a lot of this, right? 3:06 this play, in my opinion, convinced me hands down shock was going to win the finals in season 2.
I don’t think profit really “clutched” it’s there
Do you guys even know what a clutch is?
It was a weird one, especially as hed had a true clutch just a minute before

@@typo691 hammond in the background hit 3 players causing them to fly up. Joke is that hammond is a bowling ball and the 3 defenders are pins.

Half of these highlights aren't clutches.
Define clutch.
Basically, it's when the teamfight is pretty much lost for you then one people manages to actually win it.
Let's say that you're 2v5 after a teamfight, trying to run away from the enemy team, then your Genji uses his blade and kills 4 people on the red team. (which of course never happens because, you know... Genji players... jk jk)
That's a clutch.
Seth that Genji player insults... as a Genji main I can’t count how many times I have flipped fights with blade lmao
BeeZart a good example of a clutch was that one philly match against boston where eqo and carpe were the only two left alive and losing point but they both somehow beat boston when they should have lost. Thats a clutch turning a situation u should lose to a win
SaporousNote 13 what about in the playoffs when the gladiators played the spark and clutched 2 aggressive defenses of Rialto and Gibraltar
So meko eating Seoul's grav, then landing what was it, a 4k(3?) with his bomb in ot, in the playoffs didn't make the cut?.
The bomb was fissure feeding, though I agree, there were way better fragments including grav eats.
All of Seoul clutching against Paris against Chengdu is probably my favourite
Joris B i think they are talking about the one in volskaya first point (meko eats fleta’s grav)
I was expecting seoul’s clutch on paris to be featured as well!
Should have been an honorable mention at least.
The xephyr bastion is probably my favourite owl moment of all time with all 5 of us mayhem fans losing it
Diddly Fiddler As an Outlaw fan, it hurt my soul when Xephyr did that.
That was sick
5:12 So many ultra but nobody dies
greatest OWL S2 play will always be dding back capping B on route 66 against spitfire
No doubt in my mind best clutch all season was Meko on volskaya vs Dynasty in stage 1 playoffs. Insane Dva plays
A lot of people hated goats meta, but I personally found it exciting and fun to watch. It was fun watching how pros managed their ult economy and played like multiple brains in one body.
I love how in the first clip it was very clearly Zaryas bubbles that blocked the ult.
The first clip wasnt fate who blocked the bomb, for some reason his shield was in the sky, it was the zarya bubbles and maybe the brig shield as well
He would of blocked it regardless actually.
These videos are under-rated
Surprised the super/Choi combo from Anubis in the stage 1 finals wasn’t in here
I feel like the first clip was an insane clutch, stopping the charge and blocking divas bomb, and the rest wasn’t really clutching, but long overtime stalls

im surprised Super isnt in here with his shatter on Blizzard world Stage 2 finals against Vancouver. That shatter was massive

Bostons Dreamkazper used death eye and sbb touched, it was s1 clutch
I was really hoping to see Yveltal's boop on Ilios against the Shock on here
Shock fan and even I was waiting for that. So clutch.
Stage 2 Uprising Vs. Spark had a phenomenal clutch, the tie breaking point in Lijiang had me a rollercoaster of emotions
what about BigGoose’s clutch on Rialto in the season playoffs against Spark??
Yes Violet went huge in that #5 clip to save Sinatraa, but Moth built 2 sound barriers in ~40 seconds is nobody gonna mention that?
I was never interested in overwatch league, but these videos are so well done I watched 4 entire allready.
Could you do an Overwatch archives on the rise and fall and rise again on Reaper?
Soon’s Widow with SDB and I think Finnsi’s (maybe Cloudy’s?) stall on 3rd point Blizzard World should be on this list
2:28 bumper misplayed this here as mano couldve shattered back because bumper fire striked. this couldve of likely picked up seominsoo too
0:52 Fate doesnt block the bomb here, Karivs Bubble does
In the first clip I think it was more the bubbles form the Zarya that saved them
how was the last one nenne and sbb?? the majority of the nyxl were alive and in the fight the entire clip
Profit on HANZO vs NYXL on Dorado would have been good here too
Lets give this guy that is talking some credit too 5:14
5:17 how many ults.... holy
no love for moth on the violet anubis one? he was wall riding behind the titans to contest and he stayed alive for a crucial beat

Zarya was played as the DPS in goats.
How do I get the grey league mercy skin 🥺
oof, no Gladiators vs Spark playoff game, the Rialto second point hold was so clutch.
UM good top 10 but the NYXL on volskiya should have been on here that was Clutch
I think the real clutch of the last play was jjonak's sleep on the dva
I mean, the last clip is jonak's, nene throws the grav only cuz dva was sleeping, if jonak missed that dard, that grav was sooo risky to pull off
they listed sinatraa's zarya as dps😂
Wut?, where is MekO's grav eat followed by 4k bomb vs Seoul
Boston's stall against nyxl on oasis? When the underdogs took down the titans? Best clutch in owl history not even here
