Dude... you're my guitar sensei. Awesome lesson. One of my Eagles favorite beautiful lil ditties. Just when they unpack their guitar and they're more than twice as better than you'll ever be. Been playing since they babies..okay a air guitar. Great guitarist they borned themselves. 😅 Thank you
Yes one of our favourite songs from the 70s we would sing this having a couple of beers with Thomas Peyroux and it still sounds good today absolutely 💯
God bless you on your 4th of July weekend and thank you for that intro and the a and b section I have been of this is one of my favorite eagles song besides hotel California oh the list goes on but I feel you keep sending me some messages some day gone licks I could you show me a couple of tricks on this song 🤩
I think, if he had stuck with them, he and Don Henley would have been the two main vocalists. Glenn always said that he loved the way Randy sang, but he had a bit stage fright sometimes it seemed.
RIP RANDY TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT ONE MORE TIME LOST HIS BATTLE WITH COPD AT AGE 77 BEEN THROUGH A WHOLE LOT OF ISSUES THE LAST 10-YEARS SADLY THOUGH HOPEFULLY HE'S AT PEACE
Glenn did lay down the lead on this one many thought it was Joe but it wasn't. That good old Les Paul junior of his given to him by Jackson Browne back in the day spay painted black was one hell of a damn good guitar. Kind of like Neil Young's old black. While he didn't do it a whole lot there's quite a bit of stuff though. Glenn was a damn good lead player. Take a listen to some of the lead stuff he laid down on a few of the tracks on the Desperado album and the debut album too prior to one of these nights when the cocaine would start getting in the way LOL. And of course people don't realize he was the main lead on the classic already gone everybody thought that was Bernie. Personally just a thought talking ED I always thought Paul McCartney's coming up would be a great one😱🤣🤣🤣
Here is Danny from New Jersey great solo lesson on it that Glenn did ua-cam.com/video/-2Scs4QObGQ/v-deo.html The witchy woman solo is very easy it's all strictly pentatonic totally

One of my all time favorite Eagle songs
I wish someone would post a lesson with all that sweet guitar work in the background.
Love your work Dave, RIP Randy Meisner !!!

Randy had such an amazing voice. I wish he sang more lead in the Eagles.

So very special plus Randy Meisner total bliss
You know sometimes I hear the GMaj when playing the verses and the GMaj7 only during Intro type fills. Sometimes my ears play tricks on me!
Thanks!!! I had been wearing that song out on my iPhone. Anyway, Randy’s voice is great!
Awesome lesson bud. 2thumbs up
Thanks you for this. I can play a lot of the lead stuff from this, including the solo. But I like just getting the unplugged acoustic stuff.
Great job Dave and yes it a great song.
RIP RANDY

Dave, once again cheers bro🍷
Great one Dave I was hoping you could do victim of love when you get time.
Thanks....Great tune to work on for a 6-string trio...
Maybe my music theory is bad but, isn't that a D2 (9) since the E is the 2 in a D major scale?
Excellent
Great job. Thanks
You’re missing the third harmony lead in the intro, there’s a harmony nestled in between the high and low parts
love this one... great work... I think Frey actually played the lead on ths one
also... "Try And Love Again" would be awesome track for an erectile dysfunction commercial....

Too bax you don't go over which fret/string for the intros; for those of us who can't read music or actually know all the notes.
Yes, but what a great way to learn by submerging yourself in it instead of continuing bad habits.
Waiting to see if this gets blocked by Don Henley 💩
No!! this one stays up on UA-cam all the time cuz Henley didn't write it LOL
