I miss having that type of washer at my apartment. Now it was replaced with those modern washers thats card operated and it's constantly breaking down.
@@Thedonsmoney25823 I'm perfectly fine with that. Speed queen is literally my last resort for a brand new washer if I don't buy a refurbished direct drive Kenmore/whirlpool or Maytag. Don't hate Speed Queen at all but they were never my first choice lol at least until now
This machine was made during 1996, the year that those Dependable Care washers and dryers with rebuilt white design first came out. The first model came with retro brown panels during 1994. The last models with white electronic and mechanical control panels were made during 1997.
We had a similar if not same washer it was good was just old and had to upgrade when thr dryer stopped working i loved how they spun out the water(thats how they should be) because the clothes are mostly evenly distributed and cover the holes . Btw that was too much water , ypu couldve used less water or added more clothes it was alot of space inside overall its not a bad washer at all

Very smooth running washer. Did a great job.
They just dont make em like this anymore. They all need to go back to the way they were made.
If they do they will beat speed queen and speed queen will never top they're excellents

How were you able to get to run w/out the lid on/
My apartment has these and I want to see if my clothes are really getting cleaned
There's a switch behind the lid, just take a screwdriver to the switch to keep it in place and that should work
What other machines are at this laundromat? I'm pretty sure I heard a direct drive chugging away in the background.
