- Join us for the final vlog from our day at Great Yarmouth is Norfolk England UK as we visit the classic Pleasure Beach amusement park
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach first opened way back in 1910 making one of the oldest parks in the UK and along with the classic wooden 1932 Roller Coaster the Pleasure Beach really is worth a visit
Vlog and on ride povs are all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 with official accessories

Thank you Andy for this Vlog. Its was for me a good remember to see PB. I was living in Norwich 2003-2005. A few things changed there, but the Rollercoaster is still there and one of my favorite Woddies.
I was one of the Coaster operators when you came by (long haired chubby guy!). Cheers for swinging by, would be a genuine pleasure to have you back.
Gaz Mitchell awesome, we will definitely be coming back
Love the rollercoaster 2nd drop is my fave 😊
Tania Spandler I hate the 2nd drop because it feels like you are going to hit your head even though I've never been on it
EquestrianMadMaddie yes I know , been on it many times but have to agree with you it seems like you're going to hit your head lol x
the amount of times i went on the log flume in the summer in the evening, soaking wet and awsome times =) used to love it when the lights at night were lit up on the top of it
Lonely together in the background 😍
I grew up in great yarmouth and would go to the pleasure beach a few times every summer holidays. I loved the log flume and was always confused when i went on log flumes at other parks and the water wasnt salty! Sad to see it so empty really, when I was a kid there was always queues, especially for the log flume (making full use of that huge space!) And the roller coaster! (I'm only 25 so it wasnt all that long ago haha). I always wanted to go on the go carts but my mum would never let me as they cost extra, where the twister is there, is where the waltzers were for years and the twister used to be next to the Caterpillar coaster. Probably been a good 6 years since I last went, hopefully once this pandemic is over I'll have the chance to go again when i next visit my parents, so many good memories!
Hi Andy I'm pretty sure the log flume was built about 1990 I remember going with my mum for a holiday and going on it . I've been on it a good few times and always got soaked. I just love that rollercoaster it was my 1st ever I went on it with my late Mum and Dad when I was 7 back in 1977 . I sat in between them both and from that day I was hooked on coasters. I have now took my daughter on there it makes 4 generations who rode on it as my Nan did to . Thanks for sharing with us such happy memories. Love to you as always love Tracey xxxxxx
I remember the coaster having mountain theme when I was a child and the giant from Jack and the beanstalk where the baby giant is outside the coaster . Great vlog Andy xxx
Great vlog one of my favourite UK pleasure beach . Love the wooden coaster.
I went on it 8 years ago in 2011 and that was fun
I go on the giant Log Flume every year too
I enjoyed your vlog again, looking forward to your next vlog.
the water ride does use water from the sea and is drained often so nothing goes rusty. great videos
I went their a few day ago my fav hols I stayed in haven caister
I remember when the pleasure beach was ramed full of rides . Such a shame there's not so many now . Love it though xx
Well done for filming three different vlogs on such a hot day. What a gentleman you are giving that couple a bump start on the snail ride.
Had many great caravan holidays on the south denes in the 80s. The pleasure beach was buzzing then as footfall used to enter from the bottom as well from the caravans and the mid 80s was the golden age of the arcades for me. The log flume used to be the boating lake . Without looking it up i would say the log flume replaced in 1990 ish
Another good 3 series blog from great Yarmouth I like the pleasure beach it's great and it didn't look too busy and yes rollacoaster is fab . Thanks Andy 5 stars
Love to Ride the coaster ! passed it a few times journeying around the UK
Just got back from yarmouth and went to pleasure beach all day Wednesday and went on whirlwind for the first time and the first thing I said was it really intense for a kids ride, really enjoyed it I went on it three times
NintyGuy999 Whirlwind is a brilliant little coaster and tbh it’s more of a family ride than a kids rides as most small children are hardly sat in the seat properly if you noticed the lap bars don’t touch them ! I’m a big lad (17st) and fit on it perfectly
Coaster Crazy yeah I'm 6'4 and 15 stone and I was more comfy on whirlwind than most of the 'adult' rides 😂
NintyGuy999 it’s weird isn’t it lol ! I actually fit better on Whirlwind than I did on Kumba at Busch Gardens Tampa Florida lol and tbh there isn’t actually that many rides I don’t fit on
Another 5 star Vlog mate enjoyed it very much and appreciate u doing it - Andrew McK
Really captured the atmosphere there on all the rides.. I will be there next year 2021 all being well everything open!!
Hi Andy, I remember being there back in 83 ,I think the coaster had the mountain theming as you said ,lovely beach too .
Makes me sad when I see the end of the park where the twister is... as it used to go back much further and had a massive water chute ride there, plus a pirate ship and magic carpet side and cine 180 at one point... happy days!
Gavin Wolves there is a pirate ship thing I think two and there's a log flume ride too and a cinema
EquestrianMadMaddie yes I know thanks... was much better in the 80s and 90s though
I miss a good ride though I can't the name I can't see it in the clip though it was there last year and it was hilarious with my mum and brother when they sat at each corner and it span really fast. They were both screaming
I used to love that water chute, only the one drop, but I seem to remember ididnt half gather speed 😊
Hi there I live in the Gt. Yarmouth area and totally agree with you about pleasurewood hills x
Hi Andy, The wacky worm at M & D’s in scotland only has the bottom half of the apple
Really enjoyable vlog thanks again Andy 🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢👍
It is sea water in the log flume Andy! Always has been and creates froth some days when its been running all day lol. Great vlog of my home town Andy :)
I live really close to there, i can pretty much go whenever i want. I love it lol. Well apart from when its closed. Ive been on every ride more than once, i recommend :P
I think the log flume was new in 1989 , I remember going on it
Log Flume was built in 1989 by Mimafab, which the company has now been acquired by Interlink LG
Such a great family place to go to. Snails are horrible though, used to scare me so much
Same, my brother was freaking out. My watch glows in the dark and he was yelling "OMG COVER YOUR WATCH! SOMEONES GONNA SEE US AND KILL US" he was 9 when he said this 😂😂
Another great vlog Andy. Nearly on 11k subscribers already! Seems like only yesterday you hit 10k! The hard work is definitely paying off 👍🏼 looking forward to the Poland vlogs 😊
It’s a really nice park, so much potential.
There are some great rides in Yarmouth
I’ve gone there in 2016, 2018 and 2019 and will probably go this year, tho one me and my sister ( 8 & 10 ) went on the snails and fairy tails ride, the guy doing it didn’t lock our bar so it wasn’t over us the whole thing 😆😆😆
Great Vlog.... Shame the twister, mulan, evolution and the waltzer are gone!
Kyle Smith I filmed a pov on Twister and Mulan is still there but didn’t go on it
You are just a big lovable kid!
I go here every year it’s so fun
Good vlog Andy. Pumping out the vlogs recently, giving me plenty to watch!
What a nice day. What great rides, great atmosphere. Thanks for bringing us along. Another great vlog Andy. Smooth POV on the water ride but looks totally fun. Whats your fav type of ride?
They used to have the big Apple catapillar ride at Brighton no on the pier but further down near the falks railway it it was my favourite when I was little
I love pleasure beach it is fun
Once again some amazing memories and I’m going here once again this year the water ride is the best but yucky sea water is annoying
Reverse Time is a Trabant with the seats facing outwards when i rode it when it was new quite painful with facing outwards
I love theme parks especially this one but I wish it was bigger and there was a ride like wipeout in pleaserwood hills
I went here last year and it’s actually really fun! I stayed in one of the hotels opposite the sea life centre! I always bug my mum to take me again one day because it’s such a fun place
:o my house is opposite the sealife centre uwu
You can see the roller coaster in the 1982 madness video for house of fun single
chris morse yeah I’m gutted I didn’t realise that as I’m a huge Madness fan
They had to pay to open it out of season to film so I believe
Great thank you
great vlog andy 🌝🌝🌝
I'm going to gt yarmouth on the 6th August for a week, staying at the caravan park just up the road.
Love ur channel keep up the good work !
Ben syner thank you
If you go this year its £12 a person for unliminted riding. You have to book on their website to. The Mulan has left and they have a new thrill ride called Lightning 360.
wow Andy you must have a damn good job to be able to go to all of these theme parks
Zak Sharman why do you think that lol !? I work hard and my only hobby/enjoyment is going to parks at the weekend ! We did do 2 parks in one day but only spent about £30 at Joyland, Britannia Pier and Pleasure Beach
Coaster Crazy wow thats awesome
Good morning @@Coaster_Crazy
Wonderful vlog
Stacey Daffeh thank you 😊
Another superb vlog Andy, loved the log flume soaking! really jealous of all these pleasure parks as we have the awful Clarence pier... avoid at all costs!
Roy Cole thank you ! Unfortunately we have been Clarence Pier a couple of times and we are very sad that Skyways has been removed
I’ve always wanted to go on the water ride but every time we’ve been to Great Yarmouth it’s either broken or closed :/
Without coming across as a fan girl I always look forward to a Vlog from you. This place looks awesome. I was thinking when looking at that woodie awww it's not gonna be very fast but actually it is. Look forward to your Poland vlogs. Enjoy your trip and I'm pretty sure you nearly dropped the F-bomb at the end of that flume ride 🤐 thanks for flagging this place up.
Anne-marie Chinn haha yeah I almost did, tbh I find it pretty easy not to swear when filming 👍🏻 I got soaked and salty sea water was disgusting
I think the log flume was added in the late 80s early 90s
As Monorail fanboy I am sulking right now. This one of the only parts of the country I have never been too. :( I understand it would be like feeling trapped in floating roasting tray though...
great Vlog Andy
jason vincent cheers dude
Used to love that twister, it used to be called Bad, and had Michael Jackson theme 👍 assuming its same one which I think it is.
I could be wrong but I believe Frontierland sold their Big Apple to Blackpool pleasure Beach, and somehow the apple got lost in transit. Crazy stuff.
Mark French Blackpool Pleasure Beach owned the “Rattler” Big Apple in Frontierland and moved it to BPB when the park closed down, it then went to Billing Aquadrome after being bought by travelling showman Paul Hart
Can't believe how dead it is there on a Sunday in June
Reason it was so dead was because England were playing in the world cup... Everyone (Inc myself)were up the road in the pubs..lol
Yes it is sea water
Went to Pleasurewood Hills today Andy, Wipeout was running great, they have fixed the breaking issue and it now goes through the station and then back in on the return trip.
Still Element that’s good then because last time it almost gave me whiplash 3 times lol
Coaster Crazy Apart from that the park hasn't really changed since your last vlog 😂
That log flume is filthy, bird shit and that water looks like it needs changing, I bet the boss don't know, he would hit the ceiling. ... I live in Great Yarmouth.
John Dory it’s awful, bird poo in the station 👎🏻👎🏻 shame because the actual log flume isn’t too bad and the rest of the park is great
Becoming more of a daily vlogger hey ;) love the uploads per week man!
Supertards not really lol I filmed 3 vlogs in one day but I just like to spread them out a bit 👍🏻 Poland next week so a few vlogs coming from there
Good morning @@Coaster_Crazy
Great vlog !! I've subscribed
The gaming tomo thanks for subscribing
Good vlog love great Yarmouth great for family's and for you Andy where did Lisa go x
Susan Hardwick she went to play on the slot machines as she didn’t want to go on the rides
Normall you get ants in your pants, but never a slushy. Always take a change of clothes with you if you plan on going on any wet rides.
I’m going at the end of the month
Did you see that janitor throw the thing on the floor at 6:05
I went there
That worker at 6 mins looked like he was having a bad day...
Tommo1983ful he's one of the litter pickers. Genuinely nice guy, that's just how he goes about his day!
the sky drop is the same as the one at is at aventure island
Yes it sure is 👍🏻👍🏻
yarmouth PB is nice and its better then the Brighton one for me
luke4smith oh god yeah 👍🏻
Do you mean Brighton Pier?
Have you ever seen a Wacky Worm with a full train? ;)
XBCPGamer29 yeah but only a few times lol, was on this weekend at Gulliver’s World Warrington and it had a 10min queue lol
I've seen it multiple times completely full when my brother loved it at Great Yarmouth
Have you been to tir prince north wales and knightleys fair also in north wales?
dj batz no not yet
Yes Andy you need to go to towyn and tir prince fair 👍👍
Mate no one rides the log flume cos it’s all sea water, trust Yarmouth to run things the pikey way 😭😭😭
Can't view your vid. Anyone else having this problem?
Never mind all good now😀
I saw you
What was Lisa doing in the intro?
Ned Flanders walking 🚶♀️
Coaster Crazy she is speedy
Alot better than pleasure land
When are you going to brean
Tommy Gilbert no idea ! Haven’t planned to go this year yet
Would you ever go and ride wildfire?
ItsMitchBruh yes definitely, we will be doing another Sweden trip with also Gronalund and Liseberg again
Did you not know the locals pee in the log flume lake! :D ;)
Ark O'holic oh great lol
This is sad.. wheres evolutuion? Great Vlog Though!
Kyle Smith what was that !?
It was a massive Pendulum type ride with outward facing seats. It would swing to and fro and rotate the seat disc as it went around.
when you go to Poland Ru going to energylandia
peterbikes we are indeed and also going to Legendia and Zatorland

Theme Park Extreme awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Slagging off pleasure wood hills on a vlog to over 10,000 impressionable people isnt going help their situation with the lack of visitors
Sam Hardwick I wasn’t slagging it off, just saying we won’t be going back anytime soon, our visit last year wasn’t very good
I went this year to Plesurewood, the pirate ship only went half height, Fireball only went full height for one swing, rides have been removed, wasn't very impressed
Ghost train rubbish. Should have people to jump out li,e the one in Germany was it
It’s not rubbish it’s a classic and tbh most UK ghost trains don’t have anyone jumping out at you, the ones on Europe are just crazy
Please can you stop calling big apples wacky worms because that's what Americans call them
firework crazy I have American subscribers so it’s good to call them both names, thing is if I say Wacky Worm 🐛 you know what I mean and they are technically both called Big Apples and Wacky Worms
