How do the Engage and the Switch set to Engage mode compare? Especially in regards to the unpleasant effect of hearing your own voice in your head when talking. Is one better than the other in that regard?

Heya! Our Loop Engage is especially engineered to combat this feeling, so in terms of occlusion it should win over our Switch! If you're still experiencing heavy occlusion, changing the size of the eartips to a smaller size might help 😄

I have less occlusion when wearing the switches on the engage mode, but it can be different for everyone

I got my switch loops today, but i am struggling just a little bit with the tip sizes, medium feels too big, but small doesn't seem to form a good seal😢
Are there foam tips available, as those are bit more rigid and seal better in my ears usually?

Yes! We do have foam tips available as accessories, or included with our Loop Engage / Experience Plus packages. If you're still within the first 100 days of purchase, don't hesitate to trade the ones you received. DM us on Insta or FB!

if i put in my earplugs and it feels like I need to “pop my ears”, does that mean it’s the right size?

Yes, however they should never be uncomfortable :) It's that underwater feeling

That is caused by the fact that the earplugs dampen the higher frequencies of sound, which also happens when your there is pressure in the ears, so the brain thinks that "reduced high frequencies = pressure behind eardrum"
