I just bought my first loops and I think the case is updated, as it is easy to open it now and earplugs have special place in holder, so they do not “jump” out! This is just great how company hears it’s customers advices to make the product better! Great job!

I love your review and agree with you on almost everything you said about them, even the case slipery slop that should be bigger thanks for saying that. The only thing I didn't agree was that they are super comfy, I still feel them and wake up later to remove them. Happily my noisy neigbors don't endure all night, so when I wake up later, is quiet...

i have the quiet and the engage plus earplugs and i love them. I have only had them for a few days now but the quiet ones are perfect for sleeping since my house tends to get pretty loud and my window isn't the best at blocking sound so if i want to sleep in i cant since it gets really loud oustide. I also have sensory issues and loud sounds really trigger them so these earplugs have been great. I've been using the engage ones whenever i go out and it really helps since the sound of things like motorcycles is lowered quite a bit and it's a lot less overwhelming while also still being able to hear whoever is talking to me with ease

I just bought 3 pairs of the loop experience and 1 pair of loop experience plus. All of them have a hard base so there’s no problem removing the tip. The plugs fit back into the case easily if you put them both in in the same direction with the tip facing down. The case even fits the mute addition without any problem. 😊

I bought the light version because of you mate! They work 10 times better than cheap earplugs! I actually realized the experience plus only costed a little bit more in my country. But I'm worried that plus model doesn't reduce as much loud noise as this model does. They were definitely a pain to remove and add in the small ones, but once done, they work. To put them in my ear every single day I struggle a lot. I can't quite get it right on the first try. My ears hurt, but I'm starting to get it right.
My ears are extremely sensitive, so I HAVE to wear these while I go outside on a bike or in a car. As you said, sometimes I forget I'm wearing them.
In my country, these are super expensive, but hopefully they will last for a couple of years at least lol!

I just wanted to say I'm a big fan of loop and use it almost everyday. Quiet for sleeping (but I have sensitive ears so when I start to feel them I remove them in my sleep). They really do lower and even mute sounds. A loud snore becomes a quiet or at least much lower snore. Have not yet heard a sound that can disturb my sleep when I use the loop quiet.
And I use engage for being home with my children or outside. It really muffles the backgrund noises and letting the spoken words come through clearly, only at a lower speaking volume.
I have bought the experience as well but have not tried them properly yet.
I like your video. If I had found it while researching before buying my first loop, it would have helped me to decide to try them out. 😊👍

I have Loop Quiet and Loop Engage with the mutes. I sleep in the quiets and I find them very comfortable, but they're not quite as noise reducing as some types of single use foam ear plugs. I like them because they're washable/reusable and so comfortable, but they didn't do anything that hadn't been done before. The engage earplugs are another story! Never before have I found something that will block just enough sound that I can stand to be around people eating or kids screaming but still be able to talk to people and not get too much occlusion effects on my own voice. I very curious about how different the Loop Experience earplugs would be, since they only claim 2db more reduction.

I used Pluggerz small, they were a bit too small for me. I use the xs from Loops, so they're a bit bigger than the Pluggerz. But Loops go into the ear nowhere near as far as Pluggerz! The Pluggerz also create a 'vacuum' seal for me which can be a bit painful, the Loops don't do that. I think Loops have a generous return policy so maybe they're worth trying since they don't go in as deep and the loop prevents then from tunneling into your ear. I hope you can find some comfortable quiet plugs!

Hi again Bro, mine just came in the mail. It does reduce the background noise to almost nothing, God Bless. Kinda like we push on the mute button while watching TV.
I stood outside my house and there happened to be a plane passing by overhead, and its sound was reduced to a small manageable volume level. Meaning I know its there but it won't bother me.
I haven't tried it in a busy area like in heavy traffic.
I tried it in the kitchen while my wife and daughter were having conversation less than 3 feet away and I can hear them fine but with a reduced volume and less treble. Which is good coz I don't want to not being able to hear to my wife or children calling to me when I am sleeping.
Getting a good seal does leave a 'vacuum' like feeling in the ear canals which I think would need some getting used to.
Overall, I think this is a good thing and would help with noisy neighbors/traffic.
Thanks again Bro for your review.
Ps, I also got the cheaper China brand (less than RM20) but it's performance is nothing compared with the Loop Quiet.

It provides much less protection than the 25 cent foam plugs I get in a big jar from the pharmacy. It's better than nothing but not nearly as good as the cheap foam plugs. For something as loud as welding I would suggest something better. You can also get external ear protectors (the ones that look like giant headphones).

    • @ThatGuy-ep7xq
      @ThatGuy-ep7xq 9 місяців тому

@@junbh2 So it seems like there's a lot more to this than I thought. It says on the website 26.2 dB SNR / 14 dB NRR. The value on the package is the NRR, which is a US standard, whereas the SNR is a European standard. According to a comment made on Reddit by someone on the Loop team, the difference in the discrepancy may be explained by the fact that the SNR value is tested on a higher scale than the NRR (63-8000Hz vs 125-8000Hz respectively). There's a formula for calculating the actual reduction in dB, which is -7 / 2. The number after the deduction of 7 is the amount of protection with perfect use, which is then halved due to the possibility of human error in use. This would make the SNR and NRR 9.6 and 3.5 respectively. So 19.2 dB and 7 dB with perfect use, if that even is possible.
In the end I don't know where this brings us in terms of the subjective experience of each person, as those two numbers are vastly different. I guess you just need to try them out and see if they fit your needs.
