I had to adjust the audio on this video to account for the massively loud volume levels. Sometimes my voice is overpowered by the D12, that's how loud it is!

I wonder if you could link 2 of these units together - from where you plug in the subwoofer.
Great presentation!
Hi, great review. You mentioned below that you could connect two of these speakers for stereo. How is this done exactly? Is it line out from one speaker into the RCA inputs on the other speaker and vice versa?
For $37, yes, they sound great and comparable models would be more in the $150 range. I say enjoy them and if you like them, don't worry about what other options are out there.
Zvučnici R1280DB spojeni preko line out na D12. I to je to. Uživajte 😊
@@SoZenGadgets Its not 37 its above 100
How about these
Edifier STAX SPIRIT S3 Headphones
Most reviews said they sound great❗❗❗
What about base does it produce good base for party plz suggest I wanna buy
I enjoyed your review of this speaker and from what I understand, volume is not always necessarily the best way to lay music ( although you focused on it in your test ) , for obvious reasons.
Therefore, would you agree that in order to feel the music at a low volume this speaker would NOT be ideal.
If that is the case, do you recommend something else..?
Thank you.
Hi Rich, this Edifier D12 is the best bluetooth speaker I've tried at this price point, with the added flexiblity of the subwoofer output. If you want more bass, you really need to find a product with bigger (perhaps dedicated) woofers.
@@SoZenGadgets Yes. But at a low volume is a deeper bass felt as if you were wearing quality hifi headphones?
I have tried and invested in many speakers and so far the Marshall Stanmore and Devialet Phanto mark ii hit where it matters using an Astell & Kern mp3 as well as an iPhone with music recorded in FLAC at a high bit rate.
Living in a quiet area is not ideal for volume and most speakers don't reflect that deep rich sound at low volume when it is needed, hence my reason for asking about this speaker originally.
Thanks for replying
You need to look at speakers with immense DSP like the Bose speakers for low volume listening. Ideally, you can use the D12 with the T5 sub from Edifier. Best of both worlds. It should give you low volume punch and high volume quality without putting a strain on the D12.
I connected a PC to it. speaker to the output.
Solt D12 and the PC speaker as well.
Consigo conectar minha G2000 nessa D12?
This one sounds good or not, the bass is broken or not, please give me some advice, I'm going to buy it, thank you.
Ему бы ещё сетевые функции прикрутили интернет радио и тд, была бы вещь👍
Nice review by ya, sozen,,that izza really nice speaker..110 will.boozt the volume, with eaze..nice review..peace..
Can i put it vertical?
thankssssssss sir
Should the subwoofer be passive or active and which model is recomended? The subs im looking are more expensive than this main unit.
I would assume active as it is only line out.
Edifier d12 and Edifier T5 sub it's a nice combination
I'd like to check out that Edifier T5 sub. It'd solve my partially broken sub woofer problems too.
@@SoZenGadgetsGood just make a video when you get the Edifier t5
My setup is going to be that plus a pair of Pioneer DJ-S50X
I have a question.. I want to buy a subwoofer, but do i really need a subwoofer just to add some bass for my edifier d12?
If you are a basshead. Yes, you do. If not. then D12 alone is good enough.
The D12 is really loud on it's own with reasonable sounding bass. But, bass depends on your point of reference. It takes a large sized speaker to generate enough force to move the air required to produce deep, reverberating bass. It's why sub's were made in the first place. So while many of my cars in my youth (pre, let's say 2010) had nice stereos, adding a sub always made them sound much "better" to me.
Here's the thing, get it, try it. If you feel you want more bass, add one later!

I am planning on buying this unit along with the Edifier R1700BT with the Edifier T5 subwoofer.
My question is: Can I simultaneously connect the R1700BT and the T5 to the D12?
Both this and the t5 have auto output, so just connect one to the other, and that one to the 1700s
Interestingly, That's the same price the soundcore motion boom is going for. I only mention it bc it's such a popular option at that price point. Although that price was as low as $85 when it launched and it's gone up considerably. Combination of inflation, supply issues, chip shortage, and probably the pure popularity of the product.
The Soundcore motion boom looks good. Has a different intended audience I think. I will have to check it out and see how it compares
@@SoZenGadgets I would love to see a comparison between the D12 & Motion Boom
Could you get two of these and use each one for a separate channel?
Via the line in inputs, yes. Connect your device's left audio out to an RCA cable that splits the signal into two RCA outputs. Do the same with the right channel.
I am not seeing any Bluetooth option to connect multiple of these together
Hi, were you able to get this working? Connecting the two speakers for stereo?
is this better than edifier 1280dbs???
Y
its kinda lowkey put my speakers to test haha
I like to sneak up on ya like that
Price?
It varies, about $150 right now: amzn.to/3fxtK7S
about 75-90 dollars in my country
Factory 3.5 Jack RCA Cable is bad from the factory and needs to be replaced immediately
No manual buttons if ever you lost the remote most of its function is useless if there is no remote control.
There is. All buttons are clickable.
White color is better!!
You're not getting any kind of a decent speaker for $129. It's not possible, unless they're losing 3 or 4 hundred bucks on each one.
For someone who wants a small bluetooth speaker but doesn't need it to be portable nor want to spend money on it having a built in battery, it's a pretty decent option.
Obviously never going to compare to a quality hifi system
It is decent "for the price". Every product is assesed relative to the price, was that not evident to you?
