See what happens when you go on land!😂 Everything goes wrong when you move back on land. It took us about 7 years to get back to normal on land. It got way better when we moved to Hawaii. I can go diving and snorkeling and fishing. And I can see the ocean. All from our home. So until ya'll come to your Senses. Aloha and Mahalo from the Big Island of Hawaii! Time to go and find a new Boat channel.
We love y’all. Super enjoyed the sailing, but excited about the new adventures. Thanks for showing the screwups, as one of the best things about the channel is that you keep it real. Blessings.
Nice work this far. Nice break from the monotony of sailing. ( Knowing you'll be back )... Looks warm for the cold weather. Electronics should be interesting. Just done setup for my van ( that's 500 w from pure sine wave inverter), enough to power my laptop, cell phone, lights, radio and UHF radio..etc awaiting your next video with anticipation
Thanks Trevor :) Yeah it's been nice and sunny and then days of rain haha. Not too cold though! Ooh that sounds brilliant! Sounds like a good set up. Yeah hopefully won't be too long til the electronics video, we were awaiting delivery of what you'd call the 'heart' of the circuit which has now arrived ;). Thanks for following along still! All our best!
Think about everything you sealed up on the sailboat. You did not use silicone for those jobs. I hope you used Butyl or some similar product to keep the water out. Cheers, S/V Cork~Texas
Nice one, it's coming along . 👍 Frankly, it looks bigger than, and is a much better van imho, than the old split Windscreen VW Camlervan I used to have. Basic Truth about VW Caampervans, they are an absolute pile of useless Crap which Owners only admit to each other when Only VW Campervan Owners are present - *got to preserve the mystique* - mine was nothing but trouble despite being spoiled rotten - had to, I was running a mobile shop from the thing- Get things fixed an serviced the breakdowns restarted, fixed and serviced, reakdowns started again. Borrowed Friend's Ford Transit lwb Campervan, nothing broke, and three times as many miles per gallon. I'm never buying a German Vehicle ever Again. 😅😅😅 Though tbh, I do like Bavaria Yachts, but not one of their models has a sensible real Shoal Draft. Bryn, It loks like I'm heading towards buying an Island Packet 439. 5ft Shoal Draft, light fuel and water load, seems I can get it sown to 4ft 4 to 6 inches ! Marvellous., that'll do me fine. the IP Ive really fallen for though, perfect for solo or a couple sailing, is the two Cabin plus Saloon One head IP 349. What an absolute Beauty. It doesnt look as though I can fit in what disabled me needs though sad to say. Though IF I pick it up in St Pete's in Florida, I might just get away with it with a skipper and crew getting it to the British Virgin Islands for me, which for shits and giggles, plus brilliant for the Caribbean , I think I'll have the Boat Registered, as Ill be hanging around there for a fair bit I think. 4ft Draft drools. Best Wishes and Keep up the Great Work. and Jade ❤ take care of your foot Breaking bones in them Sucks. So Bryn, loads of tlc. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Hey Bob thanks for this message it was lovely and funny to read. Enjoyed the bits about vw haha. The IP 349 sounds like a beauty and a perfect caribbean boat for sure!. All the best brynn and Jade
