This was truly beautiful to watch and listen to. She's so poetic and has a deep and genuine love for Ghanaian and African culture. What a repository of knoweldge she is. Thanks for shooting this Ana. This video deserves to be in the National Archives for future generations to watch.
Waw waw...This is so great. This woman deserves a National Honorary Award for her long service to Ghana. Kudos to you, Madam, we proud to have you as a Mother, sister and Historian.
An incisive intellect, holistic philosophy, focused insatiable curiosity all enveloped in a large and generous heart. A moving vignette, of dare I say a great life, the likes of which do not usually see the light of day. Thank you Anahita for bringing this to us. Thank you Kati.
She is one of the most humble people you can encounter on the surface of the earth because in reality, 90% of Europeans don't consider west Africa as a holiday destination and to think of the fact that she's lived here for 30+years.
Wow. I remember those days. Just like Yesterday. All the way to “RAWLINGS CHAIN”. These young iPhone generation have no idea How far Ghana 🇬🇭 has come …
Wow wow wow am even speechless😮😮😮 am so proud of you mother I called you mother because of the impact you have in our lives long leave mother Ghana 🇬🇭 r
Her story is so inspiring and fulfilling. From survival to success. It shows us never to give up on our dreams. Thanks for sharing her amazing journey with us 🙏🏽
with all the infrastructure in place, better health care, good educational system and everything you need is at your disposal, Ghana cannot afford you that luxury life, please I will advise you go back to the States. Country that we are admiring to go and you decided not to go back, what an irony. I do be glad if we can swap nationality.
@@edwarddadzie70 you think America 🇺🇸 is heaven, just travel and see...people are frustrated here(USA)...Ghana is heaven on earth 🌎 you're free to live but not America
@@edwarddadzie70 Not everyone came on this planet to be a slave for the rest of their life. You have been brainwashed Not to do anything for yourself until you travel to western countries. Not everyone have enslaved mindset.
Wonderful program, Anahita. This lady is an expert in her field and looks like she has pure passion for it. She has embraced Ghana and Ghana has embraced her. Looks like Kati and Ama Ata Aidoo were close friends, she is the first African author I read.
🥰 Thank you for sharing, this is one of the most informative, uplifting, poetic documentaries I’ve watched. She sounds like a beautiful human being! Keep up the good work.
That is so very, very painful that it is funny!! Yurugu "preserving" Afrika's culture! A culture she knows not and can never know, a culture she and her ancestors have tried over centuries to destroy!! You thank her...cognitive dissonance and post traumatic colonization are no joke! Your naivete is very painful to know! This is one major reason Afrika is still going through all the issues and problems She currently experiences!!
I found this beutiful lady on you tube about 15 years ago on you tube. She is most inspirational and I adored listening to her.She is of a aeration that reminds me of my parents and their friends.I always wanted to go to her bead shop when inGhana. thanks very much for this. I will definitely be there when I am next home
Hmm our people all they know is complaining about anything you see how this lady thinks and focuses beyond today, tomorrow but for the generations unborn?
Watched this the broadest smile. Where is this wonderful talented woman based? May even have crossed paths in the marvellous st rose’s secondary school!! Would so love to visit the shop. My grandmother and my mum too was into beads. Thank you Ana for these beautiful series.
Wow, l am speech less. Being an Ewe beads is our culture in Ghana. She needs to open a school and teach this art of jewelry making with beeds. This is what our Government has to support in Ghana especially to train our youth
