Liked this presentation! I have been mostly on Aquila’s on my 5 sizes of ukes. This confirms my finding them a bit hard in sound. To me the best set in the demonstration had warmth, blend, and still definition of the single strings: Aaron’s!
I really liked the way the Hilo's had some body to the sound, but they could also jump with good punch. during the strumming and arpeggiation both they seemed to be the most well rounded. at the nut & up the neck. awesome job!!!! mahalo! Brian

So what are the strings in the blind? How do I know what to order?
Very valuable presentation! Thanks for the upload. Preference: 4, 8, 7.
@Apollostowel For their soprano/concert set there are medium and hard tension but on the tenor there is just a low and high G option. AFAIK
That makes me want to try the Worth CTs. I've always loved by Fremonts, but those Worths sounded beautiful.
2 and 8 are my favorite :D I like the warmer tone
I appreciate the test. It confirms what I always suspected: they all sound the same.
@Andi0012345 We have had them but they haven't gotten listed. Soon. Aloha
This video was helpful, fun, and awesome!
Mahalo dis was good. I liked the Kamaka. My husbands liked the Worth CT. Good fun dis
@HawaiiMusicSupply Just listed them :)
I prefer the Freemont and Aquila on the blind,,, but on my instruments I prefer the Freemont by a long way. I do use Low G all the time though.
The Aquila sounds great, then the Worth ct and bt next
All about the Fremonts. Were they medium or hard gauge?
MGM, I just checked and notice Freemonth strings are not listed on the HMS site.
@coolkayaker1 maybe you should switch quickly back and forth between a few if you really think they all sound the same xD
@HawaiiMusicSupply And which ones are your favourites ? :)
Hey I put it on the UU site but was wondering what did you use to record this??? Mahalo
