Yeah don't let go of that timeless classic stainless steel Vitamix machine you have. I would love to have one! Thanks for watching and your awesome feedback! 😍🙏🏾
I remember my first vitamix from back-in-the-day. It was the metal machine with a spigot. I don't plan on buying another vitamix until the one I have no longer works; but hope by the time I need another, vitamix will have developed a quieter machine.
@@BlendingWithHenry The Vita-Mix* 3600 is the one that I used to have back in the 1990s, when I used it to grind Popcorn Kernels into Flour to make Corn Flour for making Cornbread, and turn Ice Cubes into Snow for Smoothie Drinks. I also remember using it to create New York Cheesecake that was so good, that it's Taste and Consistency dwarfed even the legendary Juniors* Cheescake from New York City, and to this day, My Twin Brother will not eat any other Cheescake after tasting what I created from the Vita-Mix* 3600! The Spigot was a nice addition that helped a lot in dispensing Drinks, even while in the process of creating Smoothies to see if it's Flavor was up to where it needed to be, and if not, I would alter it by adding any additional Frozen Ingredients like Fruit or Ice, or Liquid like Apple Juice or Water to improve it's Flavor. Sometime I would put the Smoothie in a Container and put it in the Freezer to make a Sorbet.
@@bakersupreme2010 Love your posts! I have been thinking about creating my cheesecake recipe in the Vitamix and make a video of it. I live a dairy-free life so I always make it for my family. I'm not certain it's close to Junior's quality but if yours is far better then Juniors then you obviously know a thing or two about top quality baking. I would love to see Vitamix bring out a special edition model that is all polished chrome like the 3600.
@@BlendingWithHenry I agree! It also keeps our smoothies cold. :) Do you know if this container is compatible with the Vitamix 7500 VM0158 model? (Asking for a friend who has this model.) Thanks Henry!

Really well done video as usual. Might pick one of these up... stainless just like the old time shakes made at the soda fountain. Just a suggestion, give Orgain protein a look...also organic, plant based protein with 20g, but a bit less sodium than clean lean plus you can get it with Superfoods 👍
I have both versions of the Blenditup. For my physical needs I use the Clean Lean and I love the taste. The plant-based version is fine as well. Thanks for watching!!
Very nicely done. I love the concept of the stainless steels, and the temperatures that it contains for the hot and cold recipes, however; if you’re tall, you can see through the top! If NOT….. guess… I’ll stand on a stool to see what’s griming on since I won’t be able to see through it! But! That won’t stop me from at least thinking about it.😊😅😂
Yes as I mention in many of my videos that Presentation is Everything! I like to match straws with drinks, garnish recipes with the same ingredients laid out on the plate they are served on so guests know what they are eating, etc.
This will be perfect for blending sugars (for lemon curd) and for anything with turmeric 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I made lemon curd and the sugar sand blasted my old container! Whoops
Hi Ike! Well I make it a strong practice to take good care of my equipment so I have not dropped it and do not intend to drop it in order to test it's resiliency. I will say however the build quality of this container is very strong so it should survive normal wear and tear of your kitchen.
Great video, Henry. This is a great addition to the Vitamix product line. I'm glad Vitamix chose to not only make this compatible with the older generation blenders, they also chose the 48oz size. This is a perfect size.
Darn, if I hadn't just spent all that money on both the 32 and 48 ou containers for the 750 I'd buy this like a shot. I've been using Vitamix for about 12 years and have never understood the lack of a safe stainless steel container. It's definitely going on my Xmas list. Thanks for the review.
Understandable. Accessories in general for products can be expensive. Considering examples like videogame consoles priced around $300-$400 but the games for them run anywhere from $60-$100+ each. Buying a modest-priced car then finding out how expensive it is to get premium features with it such as a premium audio system, sunroofs and even paying more for a premium color. Not to mention how expensive tires are to replace. Vitamix containers are already around $130-$150 so I wasn't too surprised the Stainless Steel container would be $199USD.
Blending With Henry Thank you for your reply . Here in the U.K. Vitamix is an expensive if not the most expensive blender on the market. I love mine & purchased 3 accessories.
Vitamix always runs sales. I bought mine on sale & I have no regrets. I love the measuring marks on the inside & I love how easy it is to clean!! No stains or hard water marks 😊
That's a VERY good-looking container. If it were 32 oz. (HIGHLY preferred), or if I weren't already stuck with the 48-oz. container that's compatible with my Ascent 3500, I wouldn't hesitate. FWIW I love the new tamper--it was a good investment and is much more effective with the 48-oz. and low-profile 64-oz. containers than the tampers that shipped with them. Incidentally, that shake looks yummy, and such a beautiful presentation with the complementary straw!
Right on!! Always nice to see your posts! Thank you. It is quite a beautiful container. Don't quote me (because it's just my theory and no facts) but I would say if this 48oz SS container is successful we might possibly see other sizes coming out. I agree a 32oz model would be pretty epic! 👨🏾🍳🙏🏾😍

Do you know if I could detach the dry blade from the dry container and attach it to the bottom of the stainless steel container? Do they look interchangeable?
ALRIGHT-HOORAH for VM-they brought back the SS container!!The ones I now have 32 oz must be collectors items!!!They fit my Quiet one and older TNC machine-this one is about 30yrs old----STILL RUNS!!!!Ordered the SS jars for that machine. The SS ones I presently have will fit on my Ascent-but it won't run because they don't have the jar-base sensors. Is VM going to produce the new SS jar in a dry version? The big advantage of the SS jar is that it won't get scratched or marred from grinding dry items. When using SS jars-do as the bartenders do-LISTEN to the sound of the machine-you can tell when its done from the sound.Watched bartenders when they use SS jars on Waring blenders-I listen when I use my older SS jars.Have two-one wet, other dry.I have mixed my drinks with the dry blades-still works very well. The blender motor runs faster.Planning on the new SS jugs in the future. My present 48oz jars with the Ascent sensor fit and work in my VM Quiet One Would be anxious to use the new SS jar in that machine---bet bartenders will love those new SS jars!!!They keep drinks cold and no worries from ice scarring of plastic jugs-in a bar the continuos use of ice scars the plastic jugs-take a look at a bar that has a VM or Blendtec blender and you will see!Now if we can get Blendtec to make a SS jar!!!
Hi Brandon. A small portion of my markings were slightly worn off when I received my container so it's common. I see why Vitamix doesn't print the markings on their clear containers. Other cups I have (non-Vitamix) with measurement markings have worn after several washes too.
@@BlendingWithHenry Good to know, thanks, Henry. According to America's Test Kirchen, the narrow bottom blender jars work better. I have a model 5000 with the 64 oz. narrow bottom blender jar. It's quite old but I love it and never had an issue with it.
@@BlendingWithHenry I didn't mean the Vitamix to put on the breville. Just wanted to know if there are any independant companies that may have, that would fit on a Breville. The Q, specifically.
I'm trying to figure out under cupboard counter size - I currently have the a3500 with the 64oz pitcher that came with it, so I was wondering how much shorter/taller would it be if I replaced it with the stainless steel 48oz pitcher?
Right on!! I put out two new videos last week for that reason alone. I could not release this video until Vitamix gave the head's up as to when it was allowed to appear on UA-cam. Reviews weren't allowed to surface until a week before the official launch date which was two days ago. Then I released my Strawberry & Blueberry Frozen Lemonade video just a few days after this one for the 4th of July. Sometimes I have to take a short break. It's more work than it looks. 👨🏾🍳🙏🏾😍
Thank you! Presentation is always important, in my opinion. It adds to the experience. People you serve food and drinks to never forget that extra touch!
Yes I think the stainless steel container is better than the other containers because I make smoothies with kale carrots celery blueberries Chia seeds celery did you container is hard to clean after so many months I did the blending with soap and everything I noticed you don’t use the blending or the cleaning mode on the ascent series the far button to the right I see you put it on high and blend it for I don’t know how many seconds it was but I guess you’re not using the clean message button on the right because I had
I haven't tested beets but I blend beets all the time in my plastic Vitamix containers as well as cooking with them in stainless steel cookware and never get any staining. If this container can withstand turmeric beets should be no problem.
Great video as always, but I'm still not sure why this is better than the plastic. I've used my plastic container(s) on my Vitamix for over 6 years, almost daily, and haven't experienced any staining whatsoever. Also, unless it's dual-layered stainless steel, it's NOT going to hold the heat or cold at all. Stainless steel is an AWESOME conductor of heat....that's why people love stainless steel cookware. As you mentioned, you also can't monitor the blending with the steel. Other than "looks neat" I honestly don't see one advantage to the steel?
The only reasons that I can think of for Vita-Mix* to recreate a Stainless Steel Container would be (1) to give Their Customers an Updated Version of Their Original Stainless Steel Containers, and (2), the Metal Container will resist the Dings and Scratches a lot better from mixing Ingredients that would Destroy, Discolor, or Crack even BPA-Free Lexan Plastic Containers! Now, if the Folks at Vita-Mix* want to really make this Stainless Steel Container a step above, They can create what was mentioned earlier, which is to give it a Dual-Layer Walled Metal Chamber for better Insulation, and bring back the Spigot from the Original Metal Containers to dispense Drinks and other Liquids. That's all for now!
Hi Dale! The Stainless Steel Container will be available for order on 07/08/2020. I listed this below the video in the Show More section. Please use the available link under the video to order. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jen! It will definitely maintain the frozen temperature longer than the clear container but it will create frozen desserts just the same. So it doesn't actually freeze better, it just maintains temperatures a little longer for serving.
In the old days to make ice cream we had to put the container in the freezer before we made the ice cream wondering would this work the same for this one.
Hi Tammy! In the Show More section below the video I mention that the Stainless Steel container won't be available for sale until 07/08/2020. Not sure about Mexico. Right now it's a U.S product but I won't know for sure until launch day. The link is there so when the day it's available I won't have to go back and add a link to navigate viewers for purchase.
@@BlendingWithHenry Hola Henry, gotcha ;) Many businesses since covid are branching out, products not necessarily a Mexico product but special shipping is accessed which I am willing to pay of course. It is most awesome! Amazon is now here in Mexico and what a game changer indeed!
It's actually very smooth. What you're seeing is the frosty texture from the ice. It always looks that way. It's definitely an illusion but this shake has no mealy texture at all. See this video clip of me making this video several years ago. Looks the same. ua-cam.com/video/fXfAVXu_71w/v-deo.html
I enjoy your videos, and nothing wrong with yuppie but holey Jesus off the fence this is the yuppiest thing EVER! $200. for a stainless mixer container, no base????? I would never have dreamed you could take time to demonstrate how berries and tumeric wash off either. But it's nice to see someone so enthused about something that causes no harm and has a nice laugh. PS I think watching you and your videos caused me to buy my refurbished vitamix, which kind of embarrasses me. I do make a smoothie every couple of months, but my nutribullet really met my plebian needs.
Vitamix blenders & accessories are way too expensive to be staining. And now that this container is out, it"s the BEST! Get out of here with that!!! All of you!!!
@@shamim2312 Well I did mention in the video that it's easier to create nut butters (which use the tamper) using the clear container since it's important to see the progress but other recipes such as making ice creams, milkshakes, smoothies, dips and sorbets that don't necessarily need monitoring of the tamping process. Most people buying the Stainless Steel container are not first time Vitamix buyers. They generally know how to use the Vitamix with their eyes closed. It's always good to have options to satisfy the needs of as many people as possible.

Heard the measurements on the inside wear off. How’s yours holding up Henry?
Hi Brandon. A small portion of my markings were slightly worn off when I received my container so it's common. I see why Vitamix doesn't print the markings on their clear containers. Other cups I have (non-Vitamix) with measurement markings have worn after several washes too.
Very nice video, enjoyed it fully.
Many thanks!! I truly appreciate that Bee!! ❤️
Will this work on the pro 300
Hi Kathrine! Yes the stainless steel container is 100% compatible with the Pro 300.
Is this the old style tall shape or the new wider shape?
Hi Pamela! The tall container and wide containers are 64oz. This is a 48oz container. It does have the narrow bottom of the tall container however.
@@BlendingWithHenry Good to know, thanks, Henry. According to America's Test Kirchen, the narrow bottom blender jars work better. I have a model 5000 with the 64 oz. narrow bottom blender jar. It's quite old but I love it and never had an issue with it.
Thank you so much for the videos!
You're very welcome! Glad you like them Rhonda! I truly appreciate your support!!
Hello Henry, are there any stainless steel containers compatible with Breville blenders?
They are not. Breville and Vitamix have no compatibilities.
@@BlendingWithHenry I didn't mean the Vitamix to put on the breville. Just wanted to know if there are any independant companies that may have, that would fit on a Breville. The Q, specifically.
Oh sorry I actually misread your post. I do not know of any 3rd party stainless steel containers for Breville.
So no limit for the temperature of hot soups ?
No limit in terms of normal cooking. It’s 304 stainless steel and the lid is vented to prevent steam buildup.
Well done Henry!
Thank you so much Anthony! I really appreciate that!!
I'm trying to figure out under cupboard counter size - I currently have the a3500 with the 64oz pitcher that came with it, so I was wondering how much shorter/taller would it be if I replaced it with the stainless steel 48oz pitcher?
Thanks for the great vid Henry always watch your videos they're so good!
I appreciate that! Thank you so much Burnie! I aim to please!!
It's so great to see such fast and prolific fan interaction hope you're having a good day Henry
Currently not avelible for Europe (Germany) 😔
Not as of yet. It may depend on the success of this container if Vitamix ships it to multiple countries. 🤞🏾
Vitamix is sold in Europe??
I missed your videos ❤️
Is this compatible with the vitamix 3600 plus?
Not sure. I will have to reach out to Vitamix to verify.
Hi Lionel! I checked with Vitamix and the Stainless Steel Container is compatible with the 5000 series Vitamix models and newer only.
@@BlendingWithHenry
Oh well...Thanks so much for your help...keep up the great work.
You always always always have straws same as juice... I love tht
Thank you! Presentation is always important, in my opinion. It adds to the experience. People you serve food and drinks to never forget that extra touch!
I will be looking into them from now onwards thanks t you
is this compatible with the Explorian blenders?
Yes it is.
Hi Henry, what is the model of the base?
Ascent A3500
They beter make a glass container!
From your voice to Vitamix's ears. 😃
They won’t
Yes. And also a food processor container.
Word is they're going back to the vintage vitamix 4000 model with the wooden tamper 😷
They said they wont due to issues of breakage.
Often when I make nut butters the cleaning mode isn't long enough so I just allow to run manually until clean. Presets are not guaranteed.
How ez is it to clean if you use beets?
I haven't tested beets but I blend beets all the time in my plastic Vitamix containers as well as cooking with them in stainless steel cookware and never get any staining. If this container can withstand turmeric beets should be no problem.
Does it fit E310?
Yes it does.
Understandable.
Exactly. That's why central heating radiators are made from steel, not plastic.
@@bakersupreme2010 All very good points!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 👍🏾👨🏾🍳
@@BlendingWithHenry You're welcome, Henry!
Hi. Henry. I live in Nigeria. Do you ship to Nigeria?
Hi Chioma! The Stainless Steel Container is currently available for USA and Canada. Vitamix does not ship to other countries from the U.S or Canada.
I don’t see this on the site any more
Hi Dale! The Stainless Steel Container will be available for order on 07/08/2020. I listed this below the video in the Show More section. Please use the available link under the video to order. Thanks for watching!
Wish you had tried to make ICE CREAM, because I was wondering if it does a better job making frozen desserts.
When I click on the url you provided it does not lead me to where to buy and Vitamix .com it seems to not exist. Also, do you or they ship to Mexico?
How is this with ice cream?
Works equally well as the plastic container. The stainless steel helps to keep the ice cream frozen for longer.
Im surprised that the result smoothie is so chunky and not velvety
You have a right to your opinion.
Have the same machine is your due
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
They need to make a 64oz Container tell them that and I’ll buy one that’s too small
That's a nice idea.
Still think 200 is much. Still have got it tho
Understandable
Vitamix blenders & accessories are way too expensive to be staining. And now that this container is out, it"s the BEST! Get out of here with that!!! All of you!!!
What's the point of the tamper, if it's not see through. They rather make a food processor container. That will sell like hotcakes.
The point of the tamper is to help process tough ingredients.
@@BlendingWithHenry I know, but what will one tamper if they can't see properly.😂
💚💚💚
Thank you!!! luv ya fam!
I moved too slow. Sold out!
Update they are back
Yep it's a popular item. Glad you were able to grab one!!!
@@BlendingWithHenry
Henry, do you still like this Stainless Steel container?
Let’s hope it’s not made in China
Hi Geoffrey! The container is made in the USA at the Vitamix factory in Ohio including materials. All Vitamix machines have over 70% USA-made parts and they're hand built in the Vitamix Ohio factory.
@@BlendingWithHenry This is good to know! I'm ready to order mine.
Over price!
It's only overpriced for people that don't have a need for it and don't see the value in it.
