Very intresting to see how meto tracks in different parts of delhi...
In old parts thare are more turns lot of curves..
In newer areas less turns and more stright lines.
Oh is it...but I felt red line... which is the oldest....is the metro line which has the most straight course
@@DRA_KRISH he meant old Delhi and new delhi
The old lines are still pretty good but you spot easily that red line feels much different than pink/violet line. I wish they would make more investments into red line especially cause the volume it carries is massive.

Even I took my first 🚇at same age
But it was till kashmere gate I remember

From then till 2012it changed a lot when I went to Delhi for an exam
And after around 10 years from that period
I wonder how big delhi 🚇 has grown

Me too. Love it when a punch connects and the other guy goes staggering back and falls on his a$$.

There should now be one between Najafgarh and Nangloi.
Ah Nangloi. Haven't heard that name in 8 years. We moved from there to Faridabad in 2012. The green line had just extended to Mundka.
Great update as usual. I have one suggestion, for big/complicated subway systems, would it be possible to add a legend/info box which lists the lines with their name and color scheme (or even their date of opening or respective lengths)? That would be awesome.
Philippines- Lol we Still have 3 metro line since 90s
It is indeed the best thing in Delhi, I feel safe in metro than in bus and other vehicles

Fantastic metro. I used it in 2014 and found it really efficient. Also remember the works on its expansion trough the city. I wish our metro here in São Paulo could expand so fast like that.
It'll be 500 km in 2025 with max speed of 180 kmph (operational 160kmph)😊
Delhi NCR urgently need 650 km of modern metro network to fulfill transportation needs of large growing population.
That’s amazing!
CP was kind of losing its sheen and then 4 metro lines went through it. And it was once again centre of commerce.
That stretch from narela to nathupur is approved
meanwhile, here in the united states, we are still working 5 mile stretch to expand I10 between houston and san antonio

Is it Delhi or New Delhi. Or both. Interesting video of the subways and underground systems in cities across the world which you have covered. Keep up the good work.
New delhi is one of the 11 districts of delhi
It's the Delhi metro. It serves Delhi, New Delhi (an area inside Delhi, but several times used interchangeably), and regions around Delhi in other states. Overall, it serves the entire National Capital Region, or NCR.
No I understand. Thanks :)
It serves all 11 districts of Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad
New Delhi is 1 of 9 part of entire delhi and there are ncr regions outside delhi as well
Thare are around 180 cities in the world which have its own subway/metro transport system... In next 15 years that number will grow upto 240 cities and in that 45 to 50 will be indian cities... 👍

For Tier 2 and 3 cities:- Metrolite or Monorail

this is the second-fastest construction among the cities from the videos, great job Delhi

2024: outer ring magenta line

You didnt include the 350+km of RRTS under construction. These are semi high speed metro lines linking central delhi to satellite cities within delhi NCR. These are the real gamechanging lines as they will make travel within the capital area much smoother. Basically something like paris' RER system. 2 lines of RRTS is currently under construction while the third was recently approved. They will open in phases between 2024 and 2027

A suggestion, what if you added stations along the lines too? This would be cool to show infill stations as well as stations that were removed from the line.
As much as I'd like to implement this, it will increase the production time too much using my current method. So I am not planning on showing stations yet, but I will look into using different method to add stations in the future!
