@@symplemynd57 nice, I’ve heard good things about Korkers, and obviously they’re more cost efficient, but haven’t used them in years. Have you used both Korkers and Cougar Paws? If so would you say there’s any difference in stability or traction?
@@bluladder I have both. I only use the Korkers on steel and not shingle. Wear too fast. The Cougar Paws are my shingle boot. Haven't tried the Paws on a metal roof yet.
@@bluladderNo, I have not done Christmas lights. I always have such a struggle with my own and all the wires, getting tangled. Probably I should do some research about it though
@@waltersmith9939 no I don’t, if I’m in a slower season I may pass out door hangers, otherwise I lean more on paid advertising that doesn’t take too much time. I get the bulk of my leads through Google, organic and google maps, plus some paid google LSA ads (which are beginning to get pricey). I do occasional EDDM mailings, or postcards sent to neighbors of recently serviced homes. I try to avoid door, knocking, since many people get more irritated about it than anything, plus it takes a lot of time and there’s no guarantee you’ll get anybody home unless you’re out on the weekend. If I’m an emergency, that’s pretty much the only reason I’ll door knock 😅 thankfully haven’t had to do it in a while!
I also have Korkers sole plates for use on steel roofs. They have an even softer foam pad. Amazing grip on even wet steel roofs.

My wife bought me a pair of cougar paws a couple of years ago. They’re great. Haven’t used them a lot, but hoping to change that
I don’t know how I survived without them😂
have you ever done Christmas Lights? It’s a great way to put them to use

Do you go door to door to get jobs?
