Kudos to you guys for making a go of Alaska. I lived up there for over nine years total. In the end seven months of winter just gotten old. Is that simple for the summers were good it was great but if you throw a few bad summers in there or the average temperature was like 55 and there was snow on the mountains, plus all the winter I just got a bit old. You guys seem to have the resources though to be able to get out of there for periods of time during the winter which I’m sure that’s eventually going to happen. Good luck.

I (Stacey) was worried about how I would take winters but happy to report it doesn’t affect me like some. Gary loves wintertime so it will never be an issue for him.

Thanks for the video. I’m interested in the 290 Adventure and wondering if you could confirm loa from tip of anchor to rear of engine. Is this 32’? Manufacturer website says 31’-11” and don’t know if the includes overall length. TY!

Gary says its around 34ft. We once parked in a 30ft slip and we definitely stuck the bow way into the dock space and couldn't board from the stern because it was way beyond the dock finger.
