Dracothyst Update: As many of you have seen, Dracothyst has fallen in value since reset. This is due to a few of things:
1. Panic Selling - many players were expecting a huge jump once Season 2 started, this didn't happen so people started panicking and started selling selling selling!
2. Not enough Demand - Unlike Unstable Elementium, players need to spend some time getting the high end Aspect's Crest - players only get these through Mythic Raids and/or +16s and higher, lots of players cant do that yet, or just haven't had time.
3. Exploits - lots of people were holding onto dracothyst for this time and producing a lottttt, and when markets didnt move as they like, they dumped them onto the AH
What am I doing? Personally, I haven't sold my dracothyst yet, I am giving them a bit more time. Sadly, we can't always be right about all investments, but with these other goldmaking methods you should be able to make all of your gold back if you guys were holding onto them for a bit. To those who are just getting the recipe, theres still profit! Keep crafting and selling!

Lemme also add the price for R.frost have already spiked cause the gathers are focused on gathering in the caverns for the spores, where there are basically no frost -outside of RNG primal nodes) so not many are out gathering in the open world.

I work graveyard and all i do isbwatch your videos, then get home at 8am. Annd start play wow.. did a 4day quest of preparation, thinking which alt to get to 70.. i had like 5 -7 alts at max levels/ lfr fear with multiple jobs to be self sufficient
No sleep, work, 1hr drive home, wow until hour or so b4 work, lol. Feels like back in h.s lol, at least I am not missing/late to work like I did in school

Ok, I will try these suggestions but no doubt our servers, in the Eu, will be tight and no one will buy these items or there will be undercut nightmares in the AH. Wish I was on a NA region server.

Hi penguin, what are the enchantments for cooking tools?
Since inspiration doesn’t apply to cooking, you just need to buy a resourcefulness enchant! (If it doesn’t work, that means the tool can’t be enchanted)
Hi penguin, are darkmoon faire profession quests repeatable during the event?
No, faire quests can only be done once each month
The ones that get you knowledge points you can do once per faire. Skill up as well I think if you’re not 100 yet.

dracothyst market seems to have crashed do you think it will pick up again ?
I think players panicked. Since players actually have to run content for crests, enchanted crests won’t have an explosion in demand for a bit - at least not regionally, and people hoarded items so they panicked when the prices didn’t move and started crashing things. Of course, I could be wrong but I personally haven’t sold off my stock
Which enchanting tree increases the quality of the enchanted shadowflame crests?
There is no quality! So don’t need to worry about skill

I did the transmute for profit everyday since last week. But somehow I could do 10 out of 10 today? Super weird. But ill take it. 🤷
That is the exploit. Using those cooldowns risks you being banned
That's the thing. you don't need to do anything in game to trigger this 'exploit' which is why i don't consider it one. its just strategic logging in >

Man it must be great to be on a low pop server. Everything is thousands of gold in profit. On my server everything crafted is a net loss apart from the proc chance R3 items
90% of items I sell are sold on the region wide AH. Anything that stacks = region wide
too bad in EU Dracothyst is 15k and 300 glowspores are 14,9k :D

Yep... thankfully 2 of the major exploits have been patched... once demand goes up for crests hopefully we might see a turn around
Yea my dumb dumb, got all mats, off AH to do a grafted JC illuminate staff, but as i was gonna put a crest in ... i got enchanted wrym cress, how ever not seeing i still need 4 more crest as mats. And whelping was weaker then my gear. So i stop.. /Simc me next day got new gear, and it said primal moten spellblade , was bis crafted, got mats, did LFR, gotbmy 4 th tier slot, then .. /simc again, now said larriirt and and amrice shoulders was best i had.. i spent over 50k , after that.. i said i will wait on my valut weekly, got a better 418 chest, and just had 6k gold left. Needbto recoup now

Riot games messed up the economy of this expansion so hard, 1% of the players made 99,9% of the gold. Just like in America.

That was a one big bad advice, dracothyst went down 30-40% overnight, glad i didnt invest but damn why didnt i sell before the reset…
I haven’t sold yet, people likely panicked because they expected enchanted crests to immediately start like unstable elementium did, but it’s going to be a slower start since players need to run high mythic+ and mythic raids. Of course, I can still be wrong, and the exploits don’t help but I’m not getting out yet !

One of the major exploits have been fixed which is super nice. And yes, it’s gonna take a while for demand of crests to start up

hello! love the videos as always. on a side note is there a way to know what the NA barter brick weekly quests are? like on wowhead or somewhere else?
In the long run and In terms of which ones are active, you would just have to log in and check, but in short term you can use Wowhead. Wowhead’s database only shows quests that are available in game, so it currently only shows the engineering and cooking one, meaning this week there will be two more added with whatever is active. This just only works until all quests have been cycled thru
