    I’ve honestly never thought of hula hooping as exercise, more as children’s entertainment. I really appreciate you bringing it up and showing how it can be an exercise and what benefits it has as an exercise. I also really appreciate your candid review and honesty in telling us that while it could work well for others, you’ll be returning it. It’s very refreshing to hear such an honest review.

    Thank you for doing an honest review. I haven’t seen many reviews for this product on UA-cam (expect from one guy). I’m about as Coordinated as a baby giraffe and have tried traditional hula hooping and failed so many times. I wanted to pick this up to mix up my workouts and have something fun at home for when I don’t feel like going to the gym.

    I appreciate your completely honest review. I've seen so much about this smart hoop and was debating whether to give it a shot. I watched a couple videos before yours and wasn't impressed by the people doing them, they'd give up. To see a woman already in great shape but still trying this out to give an honest review is truly helpful and I thank you. I've let myself go after being a runner for years, one injury and I just gave up. I have back issues so getting on the floor to do ab stuff is tough. I liked the idea of this being a start for me, a jumping off point if you will. I need to get back into shape and need to strengthen my core to ease my back issues. This looks like it may help, it'll be work but the good stuff always is. Thanks again.

      @@sarenahammett6067 I felt your comment very much. I truly miss running. I miss not only the shape I was in but the feeling it gave me. My back is so bad I can barely walk some days. I haven't gotten the hula hoop yet bc of another back issue. Not the best movement for me to do at the moment. You'll get there Sarena, we both will. Takes time and commitment. We can do this though. Just responding to the note you had about the uncomfortable massage pads...this is the first video I've seen someone use it on bare skin. With others, they recommend at least a shirt as a barrier. Other than that, thank you for your review as I'm still debating getting one.

      hi there thanks so much for watching and for commenting.. so ironically yes this particular one you would probably benefit from having a shirt.. but that's also why I'm not a fan of this particular hula hoop.. because some of the others that I've tried they don't feel uncomfortable when you're not wearing a shirt.. check out this video that I did with this other hula hoop it felt much better on my bare skin

      I have one that does not have the sticking out things. It is relatively smooth, it has to be jointed to allow for fit, so perhaps look for one of these. Mine was cheaper than the ‘massage’ ones and I’m really thrilled with it. Have been using it for two days, takes practice to get the hang of it, but I can feel my core muscles have had a work out (through my fat tummy !) got mine from eBay was under £12.00

    🙋🏾‍♀️Thank you for the review, I've been looking into this and I never imagined it being so noisy.
    That would be the only reason that I probably won't buy this now... man, I really wanted this but the sound is a no no, I like to hula with music or watching tv and this would mess it up. I believe it works though. I've been hooping for years with a water-weighted hoop and hula hooping is an excellent calorie burner and waist trimmer. Thanks agian for the review, you saved me from buying this...maybe there are similar designs with a no-noise feature out there.

    If you wear clothing, you will feel the difference in the massage pad. Make sure your shirt or high waisted workout pants are snug fitting. Loose clothing can get pinched and tangled. I would not recommend bare waisted hooping. Yes it can pinch. Also, be careful when picking your hoop up. Try to avoid the inside of it by grasping the outside. Otherwise, yes, it can pinch your fingers.

The youngest is a computer geek, have so many associates degrees….cannot make up his mind what to major 😆 Well he’s only 24 and don’t want to get married after seeing his siblings with kids, he loves his freedom he said 😂 Anyways, thank so much for the exercise videos and have a blissful day so is everyone 🙏 happy, happy exercise to all, love and hugs! ❤️🤗

    Do you believe overtime this would help someone with their weight loss goals? I was thinking doing this 3 times a week and then going to the gym 2 times a week as I'm not able to go very often because I work overnight shifts but DESPERATELY need to lose weight. Do you think it'd help in the long run?

      Hi there thanks for your question I've actually seen people who have said they have lost weight and doing this.. So with the routine that you have set up I think it is definitely possible. because this will definitely help you to burn a good amount of calories!!

    When I tried to shorten it or lengthen it it does not stay am I doing something wrong...

    • @ASSEENBYSB
      @ASSEENBYSB  2 роки тому

      it will stay if u keep up with the momentum of the ball going around..to do that, for me anyway, it helps to have string shorter and im able to keep the momentum easier..when string is longer it takes a bit more strength and coordination for me so i keep it short

    Just want to say it is recommended to wear a shirt so it’s not directly on the skin, that made it more comfortable for me

    • @ASSEENBYSB
      @ASSEENBYSB  2 роки тому

      yes thanks alot i know a few others mentioned that definitely helped as well.. it's weird though because when I tried to wear it with a shirt I didn't like it that way either:/ but I can definitely imagine it being more comfortable with maybe a tighter shirt on 👍🏾👍🏾

    Sorry to say it’s a cumbersome article as the lock pin falls off frequently and aligning is also hard. There should be an improvement in design.

    I wish it didn’t make so much noise too! I have a weighted hula hoop. Can you compare the two?

    • @ASSEENBYSB
      @ASSEENBYSB  3 роки тому

      i know right!!! im not great at hula hooping so i wanted to really like this..but hmm thats a good idea to compare the 2..i have a few things on my list to review but i may have to look into doing a comparison. thanks for the suggestion

      thanks for watching❤️ I also did a follow-up hula hoop video on a different one that I actually like better than this hula and ironically I'll be doing another smart hula hoop video on an upgraded smart hula hoop hopefully next week

    I don't think this is something I would like. I've been in the market for a traditional hula hoop but I'll need a large hoop so think I'll be making one. Thanks for the review.
