Sorry for my english by the way
This actor was *born* to play superman. Imho, There simply isn't a better Superman than Tyler Hoechlin in live action. Christopher Reeves was pretty good but the work hasn't aged as well. Brandon Routh, Dean Cain, and so on were also good to quite good. Tom Welling sort of wasn't superman ( he was focused on the Clark side). But the first time I saw Hoechlin, like within a couple minutes, it was like Lightning in a Bottle. He hit every note perfectly both as Superman and as Clark.
Lex thinks the world owes him because he had a shitty childhood, so he doesn't give a damn what he has to do to get everything he wants. He's not angry that he was separated from his daughter - he's angry that anyone would DARE to take anything from him. He blames the world instead of himself, otherwise he'd realize that he's just becoming like his father...
I would not allow Lex to have the last word. "I never had hate for you or even Doomsday."Lex, you don't ever want to see the side of me lose my humanity. I would become something beyond your limited understanding." Superman glares and says, "You have been warned, Lex." Lex for a moment shows fear and is wondering if there is more to Superman that I don't know...he looks at the sun in the distance. Fade to black.
Ever since Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor, what other actors could do with the timelessly villainous role have been interesting. With this confrontation scene, Michael Cudlitz is certainly quite impressive.
It's part of what makes him worthy of that name. "Oh, you took my corpse from a parallel world, mutated it into a monster, had that monster kill me, then threatened my family while I was dead? Okay, let's see if we can't talk this one through" Meanwhile in another universe, Zod is Superman and he's just skinning Lex alive and then rewinding time to keep doing it 😂😂😂
maybe all the Lex’s in all universes outta to meet Zod. I’m sure that’ll give him SOME perspective and help him find a way to leave superman the hell alone.
For Context, at this point Lex is still in control of Doomsday who has already killed Clark once and General Lane. Clark is not at 100% yet and even if he was he’s not confident he can defeat Doomsday as he already failed the first time. So in this clip he’s not just “being nice” this is a strategic move to avoid anymore bloodshed and hoping to appeal to whatever humanity Lex has left.
He should have just said "Look Lex, I'm the one you want! Iif you cannot show me mercy, at least show my family mercy, leave Smallville out of this... heck, we can have this fight in the middle of Death Valley for all I care, but I want to make this OUR fight, leave everyone else out of it" Then again, Lex probably would've refused those terms regardless
Loved this scene . It shows the differences between Superman and Lex . While Superman is an alien with godlike power , at heart, he is a good person, and one of his biggest strengths and weaknesses is his empathy and mercy . He knows asking Luthor to stop is a lost cause , but he gives him the benefit of the doubt and a chance to walk away , unfortunately Luthor's hatred and need for revenge mean it'll never happen.
Zap, shot into space, buried under Everest, end of show. Sometimes, Homelander is exactly what the rest of us would be as a super. He must have Super-Patience and Super-Empathy. He doesn't want to have to resort to something final. But he's not Batman, he will fix you if he needs to. I think most of us would.
I'd have simply crimped sealed the door and flown the truck to the dark side of the moon. No more Lex. No more threats to the family. Stupid games. Stupid prizes.
Dawg….Lex talks big shit to the BIGGEST dawg in the galaxy…walks back in his car and stares at him like a deer with the expression “now get the fuck out of my way.” That’s goated fr
This is the equivalent to a person breaking into your house, confronting you, telling you that they have the intent to harm your family and showing that they are armed, and then you simply telling them 'Could you please leave my house?' and then turning your back on them, while you yourself are armed with a shotgun and are suited up in bulletproof full body armor.
Lex always seems to forget that Superman does *NOT* have a rule like Batman does. He generally tries to avoid killing when possible, but if you demonstrate to him that killing you is the only way to keep his family/friends safe then he *will* do what is necessary to stop you
"Do you know what it feels like to suffer?" "Gee, I don't know man, which one of us two had his whole planet nuked and species wiped off the face of the universe?"
God they get Superman so perfect in this series!!! If James Gunn has half a brain, he will build up the DCU to a Crisis Story, then bring back Henry, and Tyler.
Lex is sooo very lucky I'm not Superman. I would have taken Lex to the moon and left him to die. It never would have gotten to the point where he could create Doomsday.
And here I thought Clark had the balls of steel... You a bold soul to tell Cal 'El that his time is running out. Meanwhile treating his family, I'll say nice words at your funeral.
Smallville Nightly News that evening: "A strange dark object was seen shooting up into space near a Smallville farm this afternoon, shortly after Superman was seen landing in the same area. Some say they heard the sound of a grown man screaming..."
This version of Lex looks like he's either going to be the head of a biker gang, or try and buy my used tv.... but not before he calls in a buddy who specializes in those kinds of things.
"Enjoy the time you have left...it's r-" "Hard to talk when I'm lasering your brain isn't it? Whoops, you forgot I can do that didn't you? Now I'm gonna grab you, and your truck, fly them into space and hurl them into the sun, and no one will ever know this happened.

He's stopped..by Joker, intercepting the knife with his own hand. at THAT...Joker gets his since of humor back.
This conversation was so good !
Now this is the Lex Luthor we’ve should’ve gotten. The deep voice one. Not that other dude from the Supergirl show
Finally, some1 who complained about supergirl's lex luthor than me!!
Oh I’ve always hated that actor
Fun (and ironic) fact: That is John Cryers who played Lex’s nephew in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
He was fine, but this lex is definitely better.
@@jrogan3591”I need my characters to be the same repeat garbage over and over because I’m an autistic freak! Wahh Wahhhhhhh!!!!”
"[Some men] can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with..."
Wow! Never see the series but Superman looks Dope!! And this Lex Luthor!! Damn he's seems Bad ass!!!! I must watch it!!! Si much tension between the 2, you feel the animosity growing with âges, its wonderful! Thank you for this vidéo, you sold me this series and i'll pay it with a suscribe👍👍 love from France!!
Don’t ever apologize for your English! 🇺🇸🤝🇫🇷
They made Lex look he runs a pawn shop....💀💀💀
He runs The Lost.
"This just in: Lex Luthor was found in orbit by the crew of the ISS."
That wig is hilarious.
Can't say I'm used to seeing Lex Luthor looking like a trucker, or a Hell's Angel.
I thought this was a pawn stars cameo
This is such a powerful scene. God, this gave me chills. I even got thoughts of Zod while they both talked. Amazing strong acting!
Imagine trying to reason with someone who killed you.
Like an elephant asking a flea not to hurt its family
Ever since Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor, what other actors could do with the timelessly villainous role have been interesting. With this confrontation scene, Michael Cudlitz is certainly quite impressive.
Clancy Brown.
Michael Rosenbaum still the GOAT
Walter White
John Shea (from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) played the role very suave. A less comic book evil version of Hackman's Lex, I'd say.
What would be funny is if he said "suck my nuts" at one point. lol
This guy thought to himself, what if Nic Nolte played Lex Luthor? And so he did just that and I love it.
There is good and there is evil. A is A, and Luthor is always Luthor.
How Superman restrains himself from obliterating a lesser being beats me. lex would of been hurled into the void of outer space after what he's done
It's part of what makes him worthy of that name.
"Oh, you took my corpse from a parallel world, mutated it into a monster, had that monster kill me, then threatened my family while I was dead? Okay, let's see if we can't talk this one through"
Meanwhile in another universe, Zod is Superman and he's just skinning Lex alive and then rewinding time to keep doing it 😂😂😂
maybe all the Lex’s in all universes outta to meet Zod. I’m sure that’ll give him SOME perspective and help him find a way to leave superman the hell alone.
@@Fictioncrazed I mean, it'd be pretty easy for him to leave Superman alone....cause he'd definitely be dead 😂😂😂
I want to see that fxkr doing that to The Homelander😂
that would be dvmb... because the power house of lex would blast lois, jonathan, and jordan. lol
A true father at that point would toss Lex and his truck into deep space.
That's what a dumb father would do.
Be strong enough to be gentle
He could just send a heat ray through Lex's skull from 2 mi up. No cameras or evidence that way.
It'd at least toss his truck into space and let him walk or call a taxi
it must have been super bright when they filmed that, the actors squinting to deliver their lines is kinda funny to me
It's sad to see this show ending. I would love to see more of these two.
Damn I didnt know Lex Luthors secret identity is Rick from pawn stars.
And this is why some many of us are not Supes. Bc most of us would've ended Lex right there
realisticaly yes, but for plot hes not aloud to gotta farm the drama for the audience they cannot see
@@peteramaranth85no its because clark doesn't kill, its not for the plot
@@idkidk503he constantly kills, he said he killed Doomsday this very episode
@@ninjanibba4259 me when I make shit up. He's never killed anyone except Doomsday. "Constantly" my ass.
@@idkidk503 the naivety of you thinking Superman never kills is just incredible
If I were Superman I'd be thinking "I don't negotiate with people who are inferior to me".
Lex Luthor once again puts his own pride before the love he has for his daughter, who now sees him for the monster he truly is.
The hair was a bit of a shock 😂
So... in this universe Superman doesn't shave and Lex Luthor is a biker?
Yes
I still can't get over that superman was the kid from road to perdition
Ohhhh man I love that actor.
Iif you cannot show me mercy, at least show my family mercy, leave Smallville out of this... heck, we can have this fight in the middle of Death Valley for all I care, but I want to make this OUR fight, leave everyone else out of it"
Then again, Lex probably would've refused those terms regardless
This dude playing Lex... Mighty Ducks 3. I remember him.
Clark "Hey Lex. Is your truck good in cold environments? Here. Let me fly you to the Antarctic."
what i dislike about this version of superman is that everytime i look at him, i see a werewolf
Yeah well no move on
Lol i hate this Maga version of Lex luthor
I see Sepiroth
See, I never watched Teen Wolf, so this was literally my introduction to Tyler Hoechlin.
Superman is standing in the middle of the road so he and Lex Luther were talking.!!
Dude what?
2:40 oh god that fro
I'd have simply crimped sealed the door and flown the truck to the dark side of the moon. No more Lex. No more threats to the family. Stupid games. Stupid prizes.
Disrespecting Superman like he can’t just rip your head off instantly
Luthor is smart, but entirely irrational when it comes to Supes
Dawg….Lex talks big shit to the BIGGEST dawg in the galaxy…walks back in his car and stares at him like a deer with the expression “now get the fuck out of my way.” That’s goated fr
This is the equivalent to a person breaking into your house, confronting you, telling you that they have the intent to harm your family and showing that they are armed, and then you simply telling them 'Could you please leave my house?' and then turning your back on them, while you yourself are armed with a shotgun and are suited up in bulletproof full body armor.
“You never know, what’s gonna come through that door”
"Best I can do is a bald Bull from BoB"
Lex always seems to forget that Superman does *NOT* have a rule like Batman does. He generally tries to avoid killing when possible, but if you demonstrate to him that killing you is the only way to keep his family/friends safe then he *will* do what is necessary to stop you
"Keep it up, Lex, and I'm just going to toss you."
"Toss me? Where?"
"It won't make any difference."
Threatening someone who can can seperate your head from your body with a single punch is always a bad idea!
"Do you know what it feels like to suffer?"
"Gee, I don't know man, which one of us two had his whole planet nuked and species wiped off the face of the universe?"
Looking at Clark's face when talking about his family I'm reminded of a line from the Injustice movie;
"They'd never look for your body on Saturn."
Lex knows Superman. Lex knows Clark. Lex has never had to contend with Kal-El. It's time for that to change.
Lex Luthor looks like a guy who builds motorcycles.
I know we all wanted Supes to destroy Lex right on the spot. Just remember Doomsday is still out there.
This is some good acting will have to check this series out.
Then you should consider watching better shows and movies
Something tells me this Lex and Clark never had the same friendship like their Smallville counterpart did.
*I want superman to fight doomsday at full power during day time absorbing sunrays and using sundips*
God they get Superman so perfect in this series!!!
If James Gunn has half a brain, he will build up the DCU to a Crisis Story, then bring back Henry, and Tyler.
This "Lex" looks more like a guy who wrestles gators and listens to Pantera.
Why does this lex Luther look like he’s from duck dynasty?
This scene is reminiscent of those old talks Barry would have with Thawne
That hair is hilarious.
"Until we can move foward, the cycle must end" - Jean-Luc Picard
Interesting choice of casting for Lex.
His head is.. dolphin smooth.
so that's lex? some fuckin biker? i guess the ideas haven't gotten better since BvS
Superman is really that guy cause right here he could squish him
Lex: Do you even know what it feels like to suffer?
Superman: I lost my entire planet... yes, I have an idea.
You still say it the same way - astonishment mixed with a hint of dread, yet... with a hopeful finish.
I didnt know the President was in town
Lex is sooo very lucky I'm not Superman. I would have taken Lex to the moon and left him to die. It never would have gotten to the point where he could create Doomsday.
Good thing you're not Superman
😂😂😂😂
@@mfenix88
Yeah, good thing Superman leaves all these mad men running around.
I'm sure the families of the victims would agree with you.
Lmao dam dog 😂
you really think lex don't have a kryptonite on him?
And here I thought Clark had the balls of steel...
You a bold soul to tell Cal 'El that his time is running out. Meanwhile treating his family, I'll say nice words at your funeral.
Smallville Nightly News that evening:
"A strange dark object was seen shooting up into space near a Smallville farm this afternoon, shortly after Superman was seen landing in the same area. Some say they heard the sound of a grown man screaming..."
This version of Lex looks like he's either going to be the head of a biker gang, or try and buy my used tv.... but not before he calls in a buddy who specializes in those kinds of things.
He should've just taken Clark's offer here. Lex got absolutely clapped in the latest episode
Most of the time i want Superman. Every now and then i want a little Homelander.
Looks like that guy from Pawn Stars quit the business to sell meth with the Hell's Angels.
Crazy that this costume looks better than the new one
This is why I don't have super powers. Once Lex said heart, I'd be like, "you mean this heart?"
i did not know superman had the ability to shrink people as they come close
Do a Brightburn. Fly him a couple of miles up into the sky and "Oops!"
Gonna have to fly him into the sun.
That is one terrible ass wig 😅😂😂
Lex is that bully that knows his target holds on to his morals and uses it as a weapon to hurt people.
Play GTA The Lost and Damned theme song at the start of the video XD
This is one of those times when I wish that Batman's existed on this world.
Worked out much better than the time he tried to reason with Lex Luthor through interpretive dance.
"Enjoy the time you have left...it's r-"
"Hard to talk when I'm lasering your brain isn't it? Whoops, you forgot I can do that didn't you? Now I'm gonna grab you, and your truck, fly them into space and hurl them into the sun, and no one will ever know this happened.
