The insta commit ability in CEO triggers at about a 20% rate from what I’ve seen The discount from CEO is -1 for each coordinator that has the skill from what I’ve seen. So if both coordinators have it it’ll cost 3 for normal skills and 5 for the elite skills from the basic 3 trees
I have also noticed around 20-25 percent success rate with the insta commit. It is by far the most OP recruiting ability. Spend max hours on five star prospects that are interested week 1. Once you are top choice THEN offer them a scholarship. If you can get a couple commits week 2 automatically then all of their hours become available to you again. Rinse and repeat with the next highest recruits with those hours. Not having those hours tied up in long recruiting battles makes it so much easier to get players.
Does the insta commit work the same as it did in 14, where you can remove a guy you have already offered and are first in, then add him back to your board and offer him again until he commits? That Strat was OP in 14
I really do think they messed up motivator. I think it should be about doing the best with the talent you have and it ends up being more of rewarding you for having already very good players. The off season bonus should really be the first thing you get
I feel like the most important after recruiter is motivator.. i have all those atleast to lvl 3 so that each position develops more after every season. A low rated freshman by the time he is senior will be able to contribute.. vice versa high rated young players or juniors will be 1-2 round draft picks by the time they graduate.
I did the same and as a small school it’s honestly life saving. I run recruiting restrictions so this buffs it out a little when I’m running out a ton of 2 and 3 stars.
Here is the rub with Mind Reader: by the time you've already had a prospect visit you're usually already committed to the recruit no matter what their dev is so I don't see the point in wasting points. If they are Elite well you're already after them anyway. It they are a 4* normal dev are you actually gonna kick them out of your class? And usually they commit ON the visit, so you learning the dev immediately after does nothing. There are so many trees here that give you massive boost and you can't purchase everything so buying something that isn't helping I don't get. It was an easy pass fornme once I saw how visits work. Just get motivator on lvl 3 every position, or positional upgrades on tactician instead with the recruiter skill tree
So in my experience, in a way, you’re correct. However, I’ve also found it’s fairly doable to catch up on recruits you’re behind on that don’t have offers by the time you typically have your first wave of visits. So if I were to have a RB visit earlier for example and he’s a normal…I’m cutting him loose despite the commitment put into him. For me at least it’s not been hard to fill out a roster, so if you were to take the path of just cutting players loose that will not develop well you could maximize your total potential as a team and also not overload each position so that “playing time” ratings go down for potentially getting recruits with a higher dev trait. Quality over quantity in this case.
I see the value in strategist, but for me I’ve pretty much maxed out the recruiting portion so a huge majority of the time (really quite literally 100%) my players commit before they even make it to their visit week.. this is more applicable for late game once you have high school ratings but at the same time I don’t see the value in leveling it up and would much rather put those points into talent developer. By the time you get a kid visiting and you see their dev trait your more than likely going to still try and sign them either way. Which at that point I think there’s no real value in seeing it since you’ll see it once they get on campus. All subjective tho

In my 2nd year in Dynasty coaching Louisiana Tech to the playoffs #10 i just got offered the HC job at Alabama thanks to this video. I went ahead and took the job. I couldn't pass it up
My coach is gaining XP slower than my counterparts in a connected dynasty. My coach is level 11 while my buddies coaches are in the 20s in our second season. I went 11-1 first season and I’m currently 10-1 in the second season. What could be the reason ?
Any idea how to get my players drafted? I started at Arizona State, had the leading rusher in the country at RB, my top WR won the Heisman and neither were drafted? It plummeted my “ability to go pro” grade.
I don’t know for sure, but it probably has more to do with overall than on-field production. Once you’ve got more elite talent, it would probably go up.
it depends on their overall lol. I had my first person drafted and he was an 88 WR.. he went in the 6th round.. so.. need 90+ ppl to get drafted reliably
I’m all about the trenches. Most of my points go into OL or QB. A good line will make up for a mediocre back and the type of deep threat receivers I like aren’t hard to get or develop.
Does anyone know the discount for the Friends and Family ability in the Program Builder ability? I'm borderline losing sleep over it because my perfect build depends on what it does. Yet another reason why the level cap should be raised or you should be allowed at least 1 respec.
In CEO I took Dream School the one where you increase chance for instant commit if you're the players top choice. I noticed a difference can't say what percentage is but day one had 3 5* and 3 4* before advancing the first week.
Quick question bro..so i created a Saquon Barkley build in CFB and made him an elusive back of course. After getting to 99 I realized his power & receiving maxed out completely and noticed that the coach archetype for Penn State is Architect..so is this only by chance or could this happen everytime if you select a team with the Architect ability?
If you win a lot in dynasty do you eventually get invited to a power 5 conference if you’re a smaller school or a group 5 school or do you have to adjust the conference yourself when you’re ready?
Has anyone actually upgraded the cross training one? Does it actually do anything? Does it automatically start a player at DB and WR for example or do you have to sub them in yourself?
I thought I completely messed up my head coach build but I’m actually pretty close to your build, glad I somewhat knew what I was doing. Thanks for the video ‼️‼️
Also just for fun, turn of injuries, you get injured players...How does my team lose a recruit when I'm number one choice and suddenly some team scoops in and he's there's but I nvr overtake the team in front of me.Despite the points I spend. The game has problems..
Great rundown. I gotta disagree about Talent Developer tho. In some regions it’s harder to recruit certain positions. I’m having trouble pulling 5 star QBs so I need to make sure my 4 star gems reach their potential. I have my coordinators cover the tactician skills.
talent developer seems to make more prospects open to you in the transfer portal. might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I kind of like it. more personal preference. for sure try to find a coordinator with that tree though.
Is it just me that my coach stays at 0 points after I've won 4 titles. Is it all just auto? I can't spend the points myself he just stays at 0. I keep winning and I expect him to have pts i can use.Meanwhile the DC and OC up their areas but I'm not doing it.
I don't think there is a strict path for people to choose how to develop their coach. I think it depends on the program you are taking over. If you take over a top tier school like Ohio State or Alabama then it would be easier to get a couple of nattys in your first two years which would mean that you could unlock CEO right away. If you are trying to build up Aa much lower tier school then you it might not make sense to aim for CEO. It would take you longer in theory in win a couple of nattys if you have a bunch of two and three star players. They just can't complete with the 5 - star NFL talented teams that putting out first rounders every year. I think that might be why there is a coaching tree. Your circumstances of taking a program over vary.
The main thing is players wanna know what to invest into and what not to. Alot of these dont seem to be worth the investment ceo does come in handy talent dev and architect seem to be useless.
The full first regular of recruiter besides punter, same for strategist and ceo with the just the insta commit ability for the recruiting coach on steroids

Though I didn't realize that level 50 was the cap so I'll probably restart my dynasty with all the info provided here.
As someone who plans to do such a rebuild sooner or later.
Have any advice from the information you gather from doing such a rebuild yourself already?
Can i reset my coach talents once I've reached level 50? Just realized I put lots of points in things I dont really want on my first play through.
Currently there is no reset option… I stopped getting coach points at level 19. Game is bugged
Hopefully they raise the max level
Fax they needa put it at like 75 or 100
nah fr. it need to be at least a 75
Man... None of this makes any difference when there's a bug in the game that doesn't allow the coach to accrue any coins for upgrades.
I'm on week 6 of my fourth year in a dynasty, my record is 5-0. I have accrued 0 "coins" for coach abilities. This game has a ton of serious bugs. It's just piss poor programming.
Same thing happened to me 🤦🏽♂️ got to lvl 30 and it showed me receiving the 10 coins but when I went to use them they wasn’t there I was pissed
@@MrDRose2u I simmed an entire season to see what would happen, and got about 220 coins. I play an entire season; go undefeated, win the championship, and I get maybe 50.
@@atrain132 that’s crazy 😅 I’m about 2/3 games from leveling up again and if I don’t get it this time I might spaz out & redshirt every one then sim the season as you did 🤣
@@MrDRose2u ROFL!
@GoodGameBro hey man what is a good sitting for the no huddle style when playing the cpu and what does it do when playing the cpu
Wish there was a way to test the effects of Set the tone in program builder and discipline/communication in scheme guru. I hate the receiver icons not being visible on the road.
Does anyone know where you can you see all your pipeline info in one spot?
go to prospect board sort by "In Pipelines" with R2/RT then sort the prospects based off of pipeline tier. Not the best way but that is how I've done it
Thanks for the info and breaking each one down
How do you get coach points faster? I'm playing week in and week out and not gaining any points to spend. Any info?
That’s crazy 😂😂😂
I noticed a difference can't say what percentage is but day one had 3 5* and 3 4* before advancing the first week.
are you able to use skill points to upgrade players as well in dynasty?
No
Great video bro. Learned a lot.
Do you build coach prestige by winning games or building out the recruiter and strategist tree?
winning
If my OC/DC already have certain things on their skill tree do I still need to upgrade the same thing on the HC tree?
You don't need to but apparently it stacks together.
When you both have reduced scout for a position, you can fully scout in 2 turns instead of 3, so saves 10 points for the week.
Should you use coins to actually upgrade the oc and dc as well?
Quick question bro..so i created a Saquon Barkley build in CFB and made him an elusive back of course. After getting to 99 I realized his power & receiving maxed out completely and noticed that the coach archetype for Penn State is Architect..so is this only by chance or could this happen everytime if you select a team with the Architect ability?
If you win a lot in dynasty do you eventually get invited to a power 5 conference if you’re a smaller school or a group 5 school or do you have to adjust the conference yourself when you’re ready?
You have to manually switch the conference
Man sometimes my coach xp points don’t register
fr! ive noticed this
Is a player’s likelihood to go pro dependent on his ratings or his performance?
On the instant commit one I’ve had it for two seasons so far and each season I’ve gotten 1 recruit to commit from it so far.
You’re feeding families bro thank you
Has anyone actually upgraded the cross training one? Does it actually do anything? Does it automatically start a player at DB and WR for example or do you have to sub them in yourself?
I thought I completely messed up my head coach build but I’m actually pretty close to your build, glad I somewhat knew what I was doing. Thanks for the video ‼️‼️
They should add a setting where you could go over the coach level limit forever even after maxing everything out
Appreciate the explanation! Well done.
Also just for fun, turn of injuries, you get injured players...How does my team lose a recruit when I'm number one choice and suddenly some team scoops in and he's there's but I nvr overtake the team in front of me.Despite the points I spend. The game has problems..
How do you switch your pipeline? I’m in week 3.Can you switch it while keeping the same coach?
You can switch it under edit coach. It probably doesn't change until the next season though
Can you change your coach style after ? Went with motivator already at a big school.
I wish they'd just give us hard numbers with these. A lot of it is guess work
Great rundown. I gotta disagree about Talent Developer tho. In some regions it’s harder to recruit certain positions. I’m having trouble pulling 5 star QBs so I need to make sure my 4 star gems reach their potential. I have my coordinators cover the tactician skills.
What do you MEAN I can’t max out my skill trees 😢
what is your dynasty setting? Did you make your coach get XP faster or kept it at the normal rate?
For the sake of this video, I increased it so I could show you guys the best build. I use normal for any other one
talent developer seems to make more prospects open to you in the transfer portal. might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I kind of like it. more personal preference. for sure try to find a coordinator with that tree though.
Besides interest in transfers i havent seen its value i thought the xp boost for starting and lower position would be better.
Does The In- Game Coaching Abilities Apply For Simmed Games As Well?
Correct. If you're getting rating boosts for your players, that still applies in simulated games (as does your adaptive AI settings for your coach)
Anybody know if you unlock program builder as a head coach, why does it go away when you are hired as a coordinator
Is there a way to reset a coach? I have mine maxed and I want to switch some slots.
Nope, you can't respec a coach (currently)
They should allow you to keep on getting coins to unlock every ability if they actually want people to play this game forever😂😂😂😂
The full first regular of recruiter besides punter, same for strategist and ceo with the just the insta commit ability for the recruiting coach on steroids
How do u fire the assistant coach??
Newb question. Can I fully level up a coach at a big school than go to a rebuild school and all my skills carry over?
Damn that’s actually a fire idea
I'm stuck at level 50. I met the xp goal for lvl 51..... but will just keep adding xp and not tripping the levelssl after 51. Is there a fix for this?
It is the current cap.
O line and d line upgraded over everything
Dude I know that I have been asking for a lot of help but I’m looking for where I need to go bc I have heard there is a way to stop all the squiggly lines for your routs and I was told it in one of the options
What are the traits I need to be looking out for? Explain it like I’m 10 pls and thanks
I didn’t pick head coach like I should have. I picked defensive coordinator. I was wondering, can I stay with the same team for the whole 30 years ?? I believe I Messed up
I noticed it says "active perk", meaning you can only have one perk being active at a time. So if you start off as recruiter and you start putting points in others like strategy, its meaningless because you can only have one active at a time.
That is not true lol
@@Goodgamebro Why does it say "active perk", it implies that what is shown is active and what is not shown is inactive. Words matter and they it make more confusing by having that.
I want to see you do online Dynasty
how can i get more coaching points for my abilities after maxing my coach out at Level 50? I want to have every coaching ability but my XP is not going anywhere because my coach is maxed out at Level 50.
I mention it in this video, but you can't max out your skill tree
How do u get coaching points?? TIA
Coach level 19 I stopped getting coach points. Not sure the fix or if there will be one
How do you unlock more then two abilities?
10:52 will all the pipeline be upgraded..we all have 5 pipelines
How often does it actually show you the dev trait for strategist
My only question is which one makes the players overalls go up? I live in Ohio so I started at OSU and I have a ton of 5 stars with 79 overalls and if they don’t start it stays the same. How tf do players get better stats 😔
If you watch the video, you'll see me talk about off-season training boosts, XP boosts & more. Gotta be strategic with those if your guys aren't playing & earning XP to level up
I did my dynasty as Akron and I went with motivator and so far I have 3 players get drafted because their ratings go way up…I got a 3 star gem up to 91
Started a dynasty with the family and we are only allowed to throw 30 pts Into recruiter because it’s too OP.
How do you spend player points to increase player ratings in dynasty mode?
you cant
I got a master motivator n both of my coordinators are tactians takes longer to recruit but my players are developing fast
Yeah, that's the blend that you've gotta find. Do you want to recruit better or develop better (when you first start)
Can you go into practice mode with your dynasty teams?
Yes
Thanks my brother cause I was having trouble with coach abilities.
I think my Dynasty is glitched cuz I can’t upgrade my coach at all. Has said 0 coins for 2 seasons and even said I unlocked certain areas of the tree to upgrade and still can’t. Mind you I’ve been undefeated for two seasons and won back to back natty’s lmao. I don’t get it
Are you capped at 50?
Can you change your informs before games in dynasty
Yes you can
Yup
In 4-5 seasons I got one instant commit recruit with the ceo trait got 3 in 1 season
Update 4. In one season instant 4 star commits
@@kohiphopsavior did you notice a difference with star level affecting it?
I’m a HC but how do your oc and dc coordinators rank up
Just randomly. You have no control over them
Good video bro
Good video
They need to let me refund my points😭😭
Nah its realistic like this, they dont want people cheesing recruiting, then boosting their team in playoffs once you cant recruit... once u learn skills irl, u dont just forget them or learn new stuff instantly
@@RealDBoYou also don't get capped out in how much you can learn IRL though.
@@RealDBothey should make it in between seasons where you can reset skill trees, like it was in ncaa 14. That way you can’t adjust all the points to fit what ever you need week to week, but you can still fix any glaring holes there are in your skill tree for the season
@@RealDBoso irl you get capped out at how better you can get at recurting and making players better???😂
@@Philly1326 realistically not every coach can be a good recruiter absolutely..
the insta commit makes no sense cause you can get them right off the bat with none of that
I started a dynasty with Iowa St a DC. The game is very good. Some things that are perfect but it’s very good.
I do hope in the future they make it so if you are an OC then you only play offence and if you are a DC you only play defence. If you are a HC you play both sides, like in NCAA 14
you can choose to only play defense or offense in pregame
when you start a game pause and go to sim and then hit game options and you can select only offense or only defense. you can also choose before the game underneath the uniform selection
@@christophermiller769 ohh okay thanks. NCAA did it for you automatically and made it feel like you were not as in control unless you were the HC. Good too though. Thanks, I’ll try that
If you have program build ability does that stop you from getting other HC jobs..anyone ?
I chose motivator let’s see how it goes my team is young but good so I’m trying to get the most out of them now
its good for the 3 perk off season recruiting boost.
