I think EA needs to fix coaching hires. You are limited to like 5 candidates. There are so many other coaches you can see that got fired but they aren’t in your candidates.
I also hate that there is only ONE WEEK where you can fire your coaches and it becomes a gamble because you don't know what the candidate pool will even look like. So like, wtf kind of risk are you asking me to take??
You should be able to “express interest” in a couple of jobs rumor to be opening up. If you are a national champion head coach and you expressed interest in a lower level job that’s coming open, they will hire you if they can afford it. This game coaching higher mechanics are just busted top to bottom
EA should have schools offer you skill points as money during "Coaching Search" to make you wanna come to their school. Smallers schools would offer between 50-100 skill points to leave your school. Bigger schools would offer 25-50 skill points to leave your school.
Start as recruiter. Unlock all but specialist. Don’t go elite. Then spend 25 in motivator and tactician. U lock architect and unlock all those. Then unlock ceo and get instacommit. That’ll leave you with no wasted points
@@Bojang1es naw go T3 in recruiter and motivator then T3 in master motivator(clearly ignoring speciallist in all these) then program builder and all the pipeline boosts then it doesn't matter where you go you will still have a wealth of options to pick from in recruiting
The only problem with this build is if you want to move up the job ladder. For the most part you need Program Builder or CEO to get job offers from high prestige schools. Elite recruiter will only get you offers from Nebraska and Ole Miss while Program Builder will get you to the Penn State, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and CEO you’ll start getting Georgia, Bama, OSU, Oregon.
I’ve been going tactician, motivator, architect and program builder. Just too easy to recruit with the recruiter tree. I think just boosting the pipelines and using whatever recruiting your coordinators have gives me a decent enough challenge without cheesing the game
In the online dynasty that im in, i would highly recommend not doing this. We have 32 players, 5 of which tried the tactician route first. They were all fired by season 2. They couldn't bring in recruits to hold the program.
@@dukelynch6973yeah, Im in an online dynasty and recruiter is a must. I only go tier 3 them focus on tier 3 motivator. Now, I’m trying to figure my next move. Im thinking tactician, at least until I can unlock Architect.
One thing I would like in the dynasty is more in season management with your roster. Like If you got a recruit based on a hard sell and you don’t live up to it, you run the risk of losing players in season. For example. I promised a freshman playing time. If by a qtr into the season he hasn’t played, he can threaten to sit out, redshirt the rest of the season and enter the transfer portal. Maybe you can spend recruiting points to keep him happy. Or you can chose to start him and morale hit with your other players in the position group.
Even though Ceo is expensive, I think it's better then program builder. Owning ceo you get extra xp for bowl/playoff wins, program building you only get xp if your school grade or prestige increase which depending on the school you might not get anything from it. Ceo as poodle has said before has bundle discount which make upgrades cheaper if your coordinator owns said upgrade. There is also an upgrade in ceo that players get rid of some of their skill cap prior to their senior season.
CEO is also very clutch because of the dream school perk. I don’t think enough is made of how much this can help dominate recruiting. If you have 10-12 guys with you as the first options you can easily get 2-4 to insta commit in the preseason. Then through out the year the guys who have you second or third. Do not offer them a scholarship right away try to become their number one then offer scholarship and they may commit instantly which helps build the class and lets you reallocate recruiting points
@@Jake.E75 if you are basing them off their boost then you are doing it all wrong. Why would i care about the amount of xp i get when by the time you are buying ceo or program builder you are at level 40-50 anyways. If you wanna level your coach fast and thats what you care about go into motivator and make that stay your active and then you will get hella xp when players level like 3-4 levels in the first couple years during offseason training
How much cheaper do the abilities become when you have bundle discount? Do the abilities go from costing 5 points to 3 points? How much cheaper do they actually get?
I can't help but see any spending in recruiter as anything but a complete waste. It has the lowest profit and it's just not worth it other than being a requirement to unlock other skill trees. All three (recruiter, motivator, and taction) really do the same thing in three different ways: make it easier to win games. Recruiter does it by helping you build the roster, motivator by developing the roster, and tactician by in-game boosts to the roster. The biggest problem here is that recruiter will become more useless the longer you play while the others will always have value. You don't need any boosts to sign good classes. The single biggest factor in making recruiting good players easier is winning games (tactician with the immediate help says hi), as this will affect your school and coach ratings/prestige, which both unlocks more deal-breaker recruits, increases interest, and makes it easier to do hard sells. Each year, you are going to find it easier to recruit and better and better interested propects as you win and comptete for championships. Boosts you had from recruiter, which you didn't really need in the first place, will eventually become null. And those recruits will always be the same average overall ratings for their star class even after all those boosts to land them. Now motivator on the other hand, you'll see recruits getting 10-20 point overall jumps in the off-season, especially those with higher dev traits. That 73 rating DT freshman I redshirted is now a 91 and rated ahead of my star veteran you say? I'll take that. I have WRs, DBs, and RBs getting 10 point speed and acceleration bumps ( like low 90s to 99/99) at like a 33% chance (these ratings should barely ever move if the game was made correctly). In a nutshell, the thing that gives the biggest bump to recruiting is winning games. Motivator and tactician make it far more easy to win games than recruiter. The elite recruiter perks are worthwhile, but you have to waste a bunch of points on recruiter to unlock it, and, by that time, your winning seasons should have steered in the direction of easier recruiting.
Bro y'all still sleeping on architect I guarantee it. More xp every 3 games winning streak is op I got a lot of guys maxed out sophomore year. And tactician gives more xp for every win you stack that with OC and DC your killing it
Agreed, I took Hawaii and consistently turn out 92-95 rated teams after 2 seasons with Architect and landing 95% 3 stars (I have zero recruiting points for my caching abilities)..Architect ensure player stars don’t matter and can still get 99 rated players with 3 star players. My squad churning out 3-6 first round picks every year. Architect is where it’s at
It is not so much about overlooking them, it is just expensive. I agree it is strong, but Motivator T3 is too strong to ignore, so the only place left to take from is Tactician. That is very much a viable option, but it just depends on your values.
Yeah Program Builder with Invest in pipelines is OP and worth leaving of Elite Recruiter imo.. and I give up Master Motivator to ones I'm Program Builder/CEO to keep talent. I get the bare minimum in there but it is OP. I can talk 1st rounders into staying and before I had it I would have my whole starting lineup getting drafted and leaving for draft as RS So or JRs
a small tip I found is that if you save your points to get CEO and buy the discount perk you can hire staff that have the tree's you don't have and get those points back to get instant commit or other perks. this does take a while, and you can't spend to many points early.
@treydullnig It does work, but not always, especially for advanced trees. It takes 48 points to gain CEO and the skill, and requires 100 points spent before that, meaning you are around 200-250 points in the hole before you start benefitting, and after a few years, finding coaches with advanced tree bonuses becomes closer and closer to impossible. If you are doing it for base trees, it is worth it, but not as extensively as it seems, and if most of your build is in advanced trees, it becomes far more likely not worthwhile. Friends & Family Discount and Bundle Discount are worth it, but usually only when benefiting from another coach having it to start your career (Georgia, North Carolina, Ole Miss, San Jose State).
two things that would make the recruiting/dynasty better is 1) the coach goes to 99 overall like the players 2) the redshirt option is at the beginning of the season like the encourage transfer
A big thing to remember is that your personal goal with the dynasty will effect how you build your coach. If you're in an online PVP dynasty, it's going to make recruiter more important. But man that combo with all the composure buffs/protection. Basically can turn stadium strength off when on road, and offense comes out humming against rivals and top rank teams. Honestly kind of unfair from conf championship- national
Don’t know if it’s already been covered or not but a coaching build with the perk to get discounts for you rcoordinators perks give you a discount if they already own seems like something to be explored a bit more
I am currently in year 7 of playing every game of an online league and ill tell you now, you don't need a lot on recruiter at all. You could go without it if you wanted and knew how to recruit. I started with Georgia Southern and we've had the top 5 recruiting class the last 3 years. With that being said I will encourage you to get Relationship Builder maxed at least, and Strong Roots if want an extra boost but you can definitely do without the recruiting tree as a whole and use points elsewhere!
Pretty solid all-around build overall. One thing I'd do, personally, is probably ignore that second tier of Elite Recruiter with the school grades and put some hours into Scheme Guru to get at least the first two tiers of Passing Game Offense and Ground & Pound Offense. The latter, especially, as tiring out defenders is great for later in games.
This is my coaching tier right now with 36 points to spend. Recruiter - all tier 4 (except kicker) and all tier 1 in elite recruiter Motivator - all tier 3 (except kicker) Tactician - all tier 4 Program Builder - tier 1 roster retention, tier 2 in relationship builder & strong roots CEO - tier 1 delay sunday, tier 1 dream school, tier 1 bundle discount (just because my elite recruiters were maxed out earlier and i needed to find new ones later).
what do you mean by my elite recruiters were maxed out earlier and i needed to find new ones later ? did you get different coordinators just wondering cause i haven't played DM yet
@dmx1721 i had 2 elite recruiters but the tier ones in elite recruiters some of the options weren't unlocked (IE: QB). The recruiter was already maxed out so I would've had to spend 7 points. I found another elite recruiter that had it unlocked so I only had to spend 6 points for it.
Variant Idea: If someone wants to pick something other than Tactician, this would be a great direction for CEO Senior Superlatives. Tactician helps each of your players with ratings. Tactician is also primarily good for helping players that have capped out pushing their numbers past their caps. Another way to just improve players is to push those caps back entirely. A good chunk of players that will start year-over-year will be Seniors, thus arbitrarily increasing numbers by 1 point each (or more depending on coordinators), or giving them more room to increase their important ratings by approximately 5 points each is a good way to improve your more impactful players, and even possibly pushing those on the brink of draftability into being drafted, thus activating your Motivator packages to help your younger players.
For offline dynasty the Elite Recruiter is too overpowered, you can basically pick any player and 90% they will sign with you. That takes the fun out of recruiting IMHO.
When I recruit in my dynasty those pipelines don’t mean shit. My school is Michigan and I have kids from Cali, Florida, Hawaii, all over the United States and I recruit 5 stars. I’m on my 12th season and on my current recruiting cycle I’ve recruited 15 5 stars
Question/Possible idea for a video: I have two prospects with almost identical attributes at the same position. One is a four star gem, the other is a five star with no gem. Which one should I go after? I feel like the gem guy might have more upside, but a five star is still a five star.
I basically abandoned tactician other then my QB and Oline section. I put the points I don’t use there into architect I build motivator and recruiting pretty much exact other then I don’t put anything into RBs since any thing over a 75 can be serviceable
I took off tier 2 in elite recruiter and put it in program builder to max relationship builder and strong roots Also took off tier 2 and 3 for HB and DB
What happeneds to players when you cut them off your team, I had a pretty good junior TE I cut off my team after winning a national championship and went to look in roster spots to see if he was playing for somebody else and there was trace of him
I think unless they transfer on their own then they just disappear from the game because I can find players that leave but I have never found my players that I cut
I have found players that I cut but not all. Totally random and dumb imo. I cut a 94 ovr rb that disappeared. I've cut sophomore qbs and some pop up. I've even cut a wr that went to army and picked him up again in portal
@ learned something new … I just assumed everyone started with new coaches on low tier teams since it’s about building a dynasty and let everyone start from scratch to even the playing field
Very helpful tip with bringing in 2 top 5 recruiting classes lol. I'm at #5 in season 2 with getting a top 5 class in season 1 and there is nothing left but 3 stars with 3 weeks in the season left and I have 23 scholarships agreed upon 🤔. Definitely getting home after work and going nuts with 3 ⭐️ to secure a top 5 this season lol.
Maybe not so much, 3 stars could actually lower your rating a bit as it is based on averages. It would behoove you to bring in a lot of 4-star transfers instead to fill out the roster.
Elite Recruiter 'Upsell' seems great if you are playing with a team like LSU, which you keep showing in your videos. What about if you are using a small low ranked team? Often times they have low grades, does this really help that situation? Some you can get up with success but some are limited based on static grades or being in a weaker conference that you don't want to just leave. Perhaps I am misunderstanding but I feel like 'Upsell' only benefits power schools that have top grades.
I believe he alluded to this in another video, but if you are starting at a smaller school, Motivator packages matter more, because maximizing your talent with worse dev traits make more of a difference, but if/once you get to stronger schools where Everyone is recruiting better players with better Dev Traits, then Recruiter matters more so you can get more of the higher quality players in quantity.
Any tips for someone who just gets on the game and plays the game and lets the computer recruit for them? How can I make the computer recruit better for me so I don’t have to?

@PoodleGaming Just did a test build doing this. I took from tactician as you had mentioned. So in tactician I took tiers 1-4 for QBs and DBs, tiers 1-2 for O-Line/D-Line. That left me with 7 points so I took tier for for QB in motivator. Curious your thoughts?

Can you do another version of this with starting at uga as a coordinator? Just to see the true max potential of the best build in the game? Great vid!
Poodle, you should include a portion of the video where you show the actual coaching tree in a dynasty.
Ehh, I don’t like being at the mercy of taking whatever leftover recruits there are
Pretty solid all-around build overall.
I never do the 4th RB one which is short route and catch. RB always open anyways and never once seen them drop the ball. QB I can live without.
I typically cap out on QB, OL, and DL! To me, they're the most important players.
This is my coaching tier right now with 36 points to spend.
Recruiter - all tier 4 (except kicker) and all tier 1 in elite recruiter
Motivator - all tier 3 (except kicker)
Tactician - all tier 4
Program Builder - tier 1 roster retention, tier 2 in relationship builder & strong roots
CEO - tier 1 delay sunday, tier 1 dream school, tier 1 bundle discount (just because my elite recruiters were maxed out earlier and i needed to find new ones later).
what do you mean by my elite recruiters were maxed out earlier and i needed to find new ones later ? did you get different coordinators just wondering cause i haven't played DM yet
This is definitely a force multiplier
I’ve done pretty well without using the elite recruiting tiers. I usually try to throw that into or talent developer.
For offline dynasty the Elite Recruiter is too overpowered, you can basically pick any player and 90% they will sign with you. That takes the fun out of recruiting IMHO.
True it’s super easy
Do not do 35 players a class. This is not needed. Can get a top 5 with a good recruiting calls of 20-25 players.
Pipeline is the major factor 🤷🏿♂️ Ohio got that 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Idk, I’m still iffy on pipeline
When I recruit in my dynasty those pipelines don’t mean shit. My school is Michigan and I have kids from Cali, Florida, Hawaii, all over the United States and I recruit 5 stars. I’m on my 12th season and on my current recruiting cycle I’ve recruited 15 5 stars
Question/Possible idea for a video: I have two prospects with almost identical attributes at the same position. One is a four star gem, the other is a five star with no gem. Which one should I go after? I feel like the gem guy might have more upside, but a five star is still a five star.
That talent developer is pretty much motivator times 2, love that one
Yes, but it’s expensive
@ that’s why I do talent developer first, since my OC/DC won’t have it, then I’ll put points wherever
Yo thanks dude ive had cfb since its release but ive just started to get into it so this helps
You need to spend the extra 5 on starting interest. Trust me, it helps big time
If ur doing a. Dynasty where u limit urself to 5 four stars per year then what would u recommend?
I basically abandoned tactician other then my QB and Oline section. I put the points I don’t use there into architect I build motivator and recruiting pretty much exact other then I don’t put anything into RBs since any thing over a 75 can be serviceable
I took off tier 2 in elite recruiter and put it in program builder to max relationship builder and strong roots
Also took off tier 2 and 3 for HB and DB
That last one is from motivator
Recruiter, Tactician, Motivator is all I use
What happeneds to players when you cut them off your team, I had a pretty good junior TE I cut off my team after winning a national championship and went to look in roster spots to see if he was playing for somebody else and there was trace of him
I think unless they transfer on their own then they just disappear from the game because I can find players that leave but I have never found my players that I cut
I have found players that I cut but not all. Totally random and dumb imo. I cut a 94 ovr rb that disappeared. I've cut sophomore qbs and some pop up. I've even cut a wr that went to army and picked him up again in portal
Would Strategist, Architect, or talent dev be worth it?
I had no idea ppl actually do online leagues and don’t make everyone start with a brand new coach build lol
Depends on the leagues, it’s very common though.
@ learned something new … I just assumed everyone started with new coaches on low tier teams since it’s about building a dynasty and let everyone start from scratch to even the playing field
You don’t like cross training WR & DB
Very helpful tip with bringing in 2 top 5 recruiting classes lol. I'm at #5 in season 2 with getting a top 5 class in season 1 and there is nothing left but 3 stars with 3 weeks in the season left and I have 23 scholarships agreed upon 🤔. Definitely getting home after work and going nuts with 3 ⭐️ to secure a top 5 this season lol.
Maybe not so much, 3 stars could actually lower your rating a bit as it is based on averages. It would behoove you to bring in a lot of 4-star transfers instead to fill out the roster.
where do people find online leagues to play in?
Reddit, Twitter, etc
Does this stack if I hire coordinators with elite recruiting?
This is the build I use and my teams are always rated between 92-95 overall.
They don’t do good at recruiting at all
No Architect?
I want that cross trainer. I want someone to win high on both sides of the ball.
Is it smart to do a new coach just join before playoff in year 4 I’m Georgia
Yes, I think redoing a coach is always smart
I feel like ea should start us with 100 points and/or increase the level to 100. On normal i ranked up to 50 in 4 seasons. On high its 2 seasons.
I stopped playing rtg because getting sp is impossible
As long as I can get the best looking QB,WR,And ,HB I’m cool. I figured out how to get 3 and 4 stars defensive players with good upgrade dev trait
Miami hurricanes
For me, CEO -dream school is the least consistent out of all of builds for the money that is spent
Year 3 I had 15 recruit that were number one while only five instant committed
Year 4 I had 21 recruits that were number one and only two in instant committed
Year 5 I had 15 recruits that were number one and six of them instant committed
Year 6 I had 21 recruits that were number one and only two instant committed
It’s definitely not worth the points
That’s basically where I stand on it. It’s a fun perk, but it’s expensive and you can’t rely on it.
I don’t get why I have points into recruiter and elite recruiter but my active perk is tactician 😐
We are so back
Did this help?
What's the Dynasty information again I wanna hop on the league
What about architect has anyone tried breaking the skill caps ?
IF I WATCH ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS GIVING AWAY EXACTLY WHAT I'M DOING TO THE MASSES I'M GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK
Lmao, I’m sorry
Real one bro did my vid idea✊🏾
Is there a way to reset coaching abilities?
Nope, sadly
How would you modify this build to also get tier 1 talent developer for each position except K/P?
I’d have to take a deeper looker
@PoodleGaming ive found the starting interest matters way more in xfer portal than reg season recruiting. Especially in online leagues.
@PoodleGaming
Just did a test build doing this. I took from tactician as you had mentioned. So in tactician I took tiers 1-4 for QBs and DBs, tiers 1-2 for O-Line/D-Line. That left me with 7 points so I took tier for for QB in motivator.
Curious your thoughts?
Find oc's and dc's that already have elite recruiter.... then you'll never need it
So you changed it up from the other video?
The game has evolved
Bingo. Game changes, new things are found to be effectivez
Why the guy on the thumbnail look like me
CEO is actually the most important thing to unlock to get your team to 99 OVR. You can’t without it. Once you unlock Delay Sunday & Second Chance Keeper you will be able to keep most of your players until they are seniors..even the very good players! I have a team at U of A now we are 99 OVR 99DEF 99OFF!! I lose around 15 players each season that’s the real key to building the best coach possible on NCAA 25
100%!! Once you get up there to be able to compete the most important thing is keeping talent
Unrealistic. Dudes be at major programs keeping all Americans all 4 years smh
Poodle my guy!!
What’s up!
How about show yourself spending the points…
Boise State owns you
W
Fam are you in a race?? Why do you talk in 1.5x in every cot damn video. Slow it down.
I’m from New York
@@PoodleGamingI’m from DC so I get being from the east coast but breh… lol
@GeechiLuciano lol, even if i try to slowdown, I very quickly regain speed. It’s a lost cause
