90s country will always mean alot to me. Grew up remodeling houses with my dad blasting these on the radio while we were working. It'd be on his truck radio early in the morning driving to our hunting spots sipping our coffee. Reminds me of the girl next door at my childhood home we'd walk through the woods sometimes barefoot to meet each other. We'd jump off a cliff at rockmill quarry dozens of times before it became illegal. Could go on and on..thanks for the memories.
I don't have experiences like this, since I'm a city kid. Immigrant Chinese kid who grew up in NYC. I always gravitated to country music as kid because it made me feel like there was a whole wide world out there. Even though I grew up in the hustle & bustle of the city where it seemed like everything was, I always hated it. I always wanted to be somewhere I could be left alone. I always loved listening to country, wishing I was instead on a wide open road somewhere else. Everyone thought I was weird.
@@user-tz9jh6pv2j ain't nothing weird about it brother. It's a surreal life but your life isn't over you have plenty of time for new experiences and do what you wanna do. Just like now. I'm 32 driving to taekwondo practice I've been studying for three years. Don't let circumstances, age or anything hold you back.
I enjoy listening about a disrespectful kid who doesn't listen to their parents and does the opposite of what they want. But the fact that it's cheered kind of explains alot about the country
My dad bought me this CD for Christmas when I was 9 and it's basically everything I went through with him. I lost him at 26 and I'm 30 now and I would do anything to have him back just for a moment to apologize for all the times I was a little shit.
We all have regrets from opportunities taken from us. I lost my dad when he was 62..... i was 35, i’m 44 now - it never gets easier - you just learn to remember the good times more and the lessons taught and maybe beat yourself up a little less. He knew you loved him.
I have tears in my eyes listening to this years and years later. When I was a little kid, my mom would sing this song and dedicate it to me. I am turning eighteen tomorrow and so much has changed, often for the worse and sometimes for the better, and this has rejuvenated something in me. I am reminded that despite what we've been through, my mom believed in me from the time I was a little kid, and she still does. She's seen through so much of my actions and mistakes to identify who I am as a person, and I know she'll always see the person I am and always will be. Thank you Mom. Life is hard but your unconditional love and belief in me is the greatest gift I could ever be given.
My momma gave me this song when I was young ❤ I miss you mom and I appreciate you the older I get the more I am grateful. Thank you for raising me the best you could, you should be proud you instilled in me morals and values that set me apart in my community. I love you 💕 Love, your Wild One🕯️

I feel you are wildly unappreciated so many views so very few likes and subs. You should be the one of the top women that girls look up to. Originally titled "She's a Wild One," written by Pat Bunch, Jaime Kyle, and Will Rambeaux. It was first recorded in 1992 by country band Zaca Creek on their album Broken Heartland and country band Evangeline on their 1993 album French Quarter Moon. 1993-1994 was an amazing time in country music. still miss that time. in many ways everything went downhill when i turned 10 in 1994.. songs like this remind me of when i was unapologetically happy and that was still okay and the world just let me be happy and hadn't started yet telling me i didn't deserve to be happy or was supposed to be sad/hurt/upset all the time, usually just because other people were or something had happened to someone i didnt even know so somehow that was supposed to make me extraordinarily sad for whatever reason the grown ups came up with and something was "wrong" with me anytime i was sad at the drop of a hat just bc the grownups thought it was time to be sad now and everyone had to feel like they did or else yelling and screaming quickly ensued and i just wanted to dissapear. songs like this remind me to have hope even when it feels like there is none left for me or for the world in general.
I remember being in the audience for the soul 2 soul show in Vancouver, and when she sang this, instead of “his name is bill”, she modified it so the last two verses were: 🎶They said don’t see him She says “His name is Tim!”🎶 Nice touch, no?

My 16-year old sister ran away from home, dropped out of school, and moved in with her boyfriend yesterday. This song has been on repeat in my mind 😔
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!! Listened and Liked this 5 TIMES!!
Hello!!! How are you doing? Please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you are a fan? Have a great day… Stay Safe!
This is my favorite Faith Hill song! I have always loved it!
God’s beautiful gift right there folks
I remember being in the audience for the soul 2 soul show in Vancouver, and when she sang this, instead of “his name is bill”, she modified it so the last two verses were:
🎶They said don’t see him
She says “His name is Tim!”🎶
Nice touch, no?
This song reminds me of me and my daughter. Because nobody is going to break our spirit down
I've always. Loved this song!
I grew up around 90’s country music and still listen to it today I also enjoy some of the new country as well.

The exact words I was thinking.
This looks like a fun video. Do you have any good memories from it? Who staged the room, or was it real?
had this cassette once upon a time
I love you so much . The first time when I heard your songs , I felt as I will lost my life
THIS SONG IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
I was 25 years old when this song was on the charts back in 1993. Loved it then, love it now!
Hands down, the best smile in contemporary country and beyond. PS: Her voice ain't bad either. :)
All i know is my Dad never told me I could be anything. Ever. I tried so hard to make them notice me or care, but sometimes they just don’t-so here’s to all the girls who grew up thinking they were nothing and worthless.... let that shit go and believe in yourself anyway. You will be the strongest of all of them❤️
Hello Sandi how are you doing?
2019 and I’d still wear that outfit 💕
I grew up listening to old school including Johnny Cash, George Jones, & Conway Twitty. I also grew up with music from the 90s. I'm 28 & this kind of music is exactly what I listen to & so do my kids. Bring back the stuff from when i was a kid.
